About this apartment rental
Charming boutique-style newly renovated 1BR with separate entrance, large garden and off-street parking in an end-unit townhouse. High-end furniture. Located in a friendly & diverse neighborhood, centrally positioned in the middle of all that the Washington DC metropolitan area has to offer. Walking distance to bars, restaurants and shops and convenient to Metro and many bus lines.
Next time you are in Washington DC, choose to make your temporary home in this completely remodeled 1920s row home along with its charming outside patio and fenced-in back yard. This private 1BR English basement unit is the perfect haven to relax and unwind, providing everything you need to be comfortable and productive during your next trip to DC.
The bedroom has a queen-size bed with a new memory foam mattress, new bedding and a desk for you to set up your laptop. Complimentary toiletries and fresh clean towels are provided. Additional towels, linens or bedding are available upon request for the pull-out couch in the living room.
The newly installed kitchenette has sink, refrigerator, a toaster oven, microwave and burner plus an electric kettle, coffee machine and a French press.
High-speed WiFi, Roku TV on a large flat-screen TV, iron/ironing board, hair dryer, washer/dryer upon request for a small fee, outdoor patio space, deck with table and chairs and large landscaped and fenced yard.
If you plan on having a car with you during your stay there is ample street parking in front but you are also welcome to use the driveway for off-street parking as I do not park my car in the garage (too big!).
The downstairs unit is self-contained and has its own entrance and access to the yard, patio and deck. It has a kitchen with all you need to cook a meal, although there is no large over (toaster oven is provided).

Stayed for about 2 months for an internship in the DMV area. Property is clean, Claudia is highly responsive, and space is private enough. Things to note is that the kitchenette is definitely not meant for making large meals or prepping meals. Sound travels pretty well through the floors, there is a white noise machine provided. Washing machine and dryer are in Claudia’s actual home, so it made doing small loads throughout the week difficult. Some of the furniture is well loved, like the bed frame needs replacing as it is not too stable. The parking space is not meant for anything bigger than a compact sedan. Great space for the price. Just keep in mind that this location is about 30 minutes on foot to any metro station, cuts to 10 minutes on bike. I would recommend this stay as long as you are willing to sacrifice transport, kitchen, and laundry convenience.
Space is super clean, Claudia is great, and amazing for the price!
