The staff are very friendly here, the location is wonderful (can be a bit noisy however as it is on a main street in the town), and the value is good.
The noise both inside the hotel (as the rooms are all along one hallway and the doors/walls are not sound proof) as well as outside of the hotel was a bit annoying

Good wifi
- Had to eat our breakfast at our room
- Extremely loud music until 3am (it’s very close to the square)
- At 5:45am AVE MARIA started at the square (also extremely loud)
- Personell did not speak English

Great hotel, friendly staff, very clean and great accommodation, 1 minute walk to downtown and to the jeeps that take you to the cocora valley.

Friendly and welcoming staff who helped meet lol our needs. Very clean rooms, hot showers and comfy beds. Lovely free breakfast, brought to our room in the morning.
You could get the loud music from the bar across the street

It all started with the fact that we were met by an unfriendly girl with a displeased face. We were put in the worst room, without a window. Although the hotel was empty and many rooms with windows were free. There was no toilet paper in the room and there was only one soap for a few days, which was then taken away after cleaning. It was very cold and the internet did not work well. the wind was constantly blowing when we left the room. Breakfast food was very poor (rice cake and egg, coffee and water). We gave up breakfast on the second day and went to a cafe. This was the worst hotel we've ever had in Colombia. we lived in 9 hotels in the country, we have never seen such horror anywhere. The owner of the hotel was very nice, tried to smooth over the inconvenience. Thanks!!!
did not like the staff and the room! he was terrible

The staff is so caring, nice and friendly. I’ve never seen such a clean and well taken care place. I felt cozy at home.

Very nice location, very central. Personnel very pleasant and helpful. Hotel has their own parking park close by, where the car car be stored safely. There is a small kitchen in the floor which could be used on request and the fridge. Room was good, clean and comfortable. Pretty small though, but for 2 persons for 2 days was perfect. It had a small typical balcony with a nice view over Salento.
A bit loud in the evening due to central location.

Super central location and the breakfast was nice and filling.
The room felt very cramped and the walls were very thin.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The location over the main road is perfect but extremely noise. There are basically no common areas but the hotel was sparkling clean. Rooms are small but they do have a small table to work and they can even bring the breakfast to your room.
THE NOISE.
We got the balcony room but right in front of it there is a pub with music so loud it felt we were sleeping inside a disco. (I slept in many hostel with up to 30 people, party hostels and slept normal but the level of noise at this hotel was crazy). The hotel tried to fix this by adding a secondary glass door which ruined the historical style of the hostel and didn't fix the noise more than a 10% since they used normal glass instead of the soundproof glass (hermetically sealed double glazed).
NOT UPDATED PICTURES.
Note they haven't update the pictures of the hotel showing these secondary doors. They also repainted the front of the hotel to a lighter blue which doesn't match with the pictures posted at the time of this review.

staff were very friendly and helpful. we were able to log into Netflix which was a nice treat for an afternoon rest. centrally located. good lighting in the room.
unfortunately although a great location the rooms facing the street are extremely noisy and until 5am!! obviously not in the control of the hotel or staff but it was incredibly noisy. would sadly put me off staying again.

The location was great. Right on the main street of Salento. Surrounded by many shops and restaurants. The room itself was comfortable. Breaksfast was alright. Tipical Colombian breakfast. Overall I hada great experience.
The room was small, but you won't get anything bigger. I just needed a room to sleep. The TV only had a few channels. Not English channels at all, which I think it will be good to have, since many tourists don't understand Spanish.

Location was great for seeing the sites but very street noisy at night until they moved us to an inside room.
Breakfast was the usual scrambled eggs, cheese and coffee
Ask for an inside room. Rooms are small. Breakfast was the usual scrambled eggs, cheese and coffee

The bed was lovely and comfy. Bathroom very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Placement on main street is great!
No sound proofing at all. You won't be able to sleep in at all. Noise in corridor from 7.30am. it feels like they are in your room. But absolutely fine if you're up early. But I have found this in EVERY accommodation in Colombia.

This hotel is right on the main strip, so a very good point for exploring the town and people-watching from the balcony. The staff was available all day+night and super friendly. We had a tasty breakfast in our room. the shower was nice. overall we thought this place was great value.
There was a conscious effort made to reduce the noise from the Main Street (glass sliding doors), but as we arrived during a religious holiday week, we were woken up by loud church bells and singing between 5-6am every day.

A nice hotel in the city center. The staff is friendly and helpful. Good breakfast served in the room.
The room is very small, especially if you have a large suitcase. The bathroom is also very small.

Staff was super-friendly. Breakfast was ok. Location
We have switched the room (it was our request) and the new room didn't had a window. The previous one got the balcony, but there was load music coming from the street. The room was very small.
