This home is perfect for two couples. Extremely clean, ocean view with a deck for relaxing and taking in the beautiful ocean. It is situated between the lodge and Gualala which makes it an easy drive to whatever you need. The host Jennifer was so responsive and helpful from the very minute we booked the house. We have stayed in Sea Ranch for at least 13 years and this is definately one of our favorite homes. Highly recommend! Looking forward to booking this home again.

It is in a beautiful spot and we have been coming to Sea Ranch for over 30 years, so we know ;-) Thanks for equipping the home with all the amenities, WifI and the Hottub were great, and often are issues in other homes. We loved every minute of our stay at Windsong, and can't wait to return! Even before our arrival communication with Jennifer (owner) was clear, easy. Thoughtful and kind responses to my questions were almost instantaneous. Online photos of this house, while very good, don't do it justice-it's gorgeous. The floor plan is close to perfect. Views + access to exterior decks = outstanding. Two ensuite King bedrooms (with plenty of separation) ensured privacy, quiet, and comfortable enjoyment for both couples. Linens, towels, bath necessities all exceptional. The kitchen is outfitted with everything one could possibly need, and the propane bbq worked perfectly. Proximity to everything, including gorgeous bluff trail and Pebble Beach, was perfect. Thank you Jennifer & family for a truly memorable stay!

Our stay at Windsong couldn't have been better. Perfect location, communication with host was easy, the house was clean, comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. Instructions/information for guests was clear and very useful, but most of all it was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the beauty of The Sea Ranch!

Stayed at this property for 4 nights with my wife for an extended birthday weekend and it did not disappoint. My wife and I have been coming to Sea Ranch for 10+ years and this was easily the best house we have stayed in. The location is mid-way between all of our favorite beaches and bluff trails. Approximately 4 miles round trip from the house to Black Point Beach, Pebble Beach is literally steps away, and its a 6 mile round trip hike up to Shell Beach. The seal rookery is close, with lots of tide pools to explore just beyond. The wide open expanse of ocean that greets you from every room in the house is spectacular. Unimpeded views, but also the house had a very private feel despite the proximity of the neighboring properties. We dined in for 2 nights and the BBQ and kitchen had everything we needed to make great meals. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after our long hikes. The hot tub deck enclosure is private but the gate can be opened up for ocean views as well. The house is ideal for 1 couple, or two, there are 2 master suites on either end of the house with a central great room common area with comfortable furnishings and the gas fireplace added a nice warmth and ambiance to the evenings. We spent a lot of time on the front deck in the chairs just sipping wine, watching the view and relaxing. We will definitely be re-booking this property for our future visits to Sea Ranch.

We would stay here again and again! The views and location are amazing, the house is so cozy, and the kitchen has everything you could need! My only suggestion would be to have kitchen towels available. That was the only thing we couldn’t find. Overall great stay!

This is the second time we have stayed at Windsong with our best friends. We were hoping for a winter storm during our stay so we could watch the ocean from the amazing views this house provides. We had an incredible show and in between the rain accessed the trail right behind the house. We’ll be back!

We have been going to Windsong for many years and it never disappoints us. The location is superb for viewing the sea and for walking along the cliffs. The house is well-laid out, with considerable separation between bedrooms so there is privacy. Jennifer, the host, was incredibly responsive and generous when we hit bad weather and was willing to adjust our dates and even to give us an additional night. It was a perfect stay and as ever, we were reluctant to leave.

When we walked in for the first time, there were four deer in the front staring at us! When they left, a beautiful fox showed up. This place is magical and we'll be back soon for sure. Spent time reading, doing jigsaw, looking at the view, bbq-ing and hiking. The store in Gualala is great. Were going to go eat dinner at the Lodge, but didn't want to leave as it turns out. No complaints about anything other than the wine opener has seen better days. I'm sure we didn't help with that situation :))

Everything about our stay at Windsong was perfect. We were two couples, having brought my in-laws back to their beloved Sea Ranch. The house was so tastefully decorated and fully wheel-chair accessible which was much appreciated. On Saturday we went up to Gulala Farmers Market and picked up a fresh locally caught fish. The adjacent bi-weekly flea market had a perfect fish bbq basket which we left for future guests and our hosts. We had bbq’d cod with a miso glaze that night and it was absolutely the most incredible meal. The house has plenty of spices and basic oil but the market on the coast side in Gulala was very nice for anything else we didn’t bring and locally made treats. The beds were indeed firm as another reviewer mentioned, but for us that was perfect! We enjoyed a hot tub under the sky full of stars and slept very well. Sunday was a rainy day and it was a lovely place to watch the water, waves and sky from every room. We were well restored to face the world again after our Windsong retreat. Jennifer was a great communicator and easy host. Directions, entry, and guide book were very clear. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning before too long.

We checked in following the detailed instructions provided to us. We were fortunate to have perfect weather that allowed us to enjoy walks on the shoreline trail that passes near the house. The kitchen and other rooms were well equipped and the decor was excellent. We never figured out how to make the TV system work but we kept ourselves entertained without it. We look forward to another opportunity to stay.

This was our first stay at Sea Ranch, and this was the perfect house for the two of us. Clean, cozy, comfortable, private, gorgeous views and trails all over the place. Exactly as pictured. Loved the fireplace you could just turn on instead of dealing with wood. Nothing lacking, wonderful stay!

As you walk to the front door, to the left is a beautiful enclosed flower garden with step stones that lead to a brand new, clean and relaxing spa. Open a little gate in front that’s latched, and you’ll have a view of the ocean. Once inside, ocean views from every room with large sliding doors/ screens to enjoy the coastal breeze! There’s a nice deck with comfortable adirondack chairs to enjoy the view of ocean. We took full advantage of that! Very clean home, fully stocked kitchen, smart tv and spa towels provided. This home sits right above Pebble Beach which is only a 2 minute walk away. The Sea Ranch Lodge is only a 4 minute drive away which has a great cafe/ lunch/ dinner and a short walk away to the stunning Black Point Beach. Our favorite 2 Fish bakery is only an 8 minute drive away! A MUST GO TO! Wonderful home made sourdough and other breads, sticky buns, etc. sandwiches, chai…. You name it, they have it! The only negative thing about this house is the firm beds. It took us a couple days to adjust. So… if you like firm beds, you’ll love them! If not,I’d suggest bringing a bed topper for a king sized bed if you have one. Other than that, this home is perfect in every way, and we’d love to return soon!

This property is a several time repeater for us, a top choice in staying at Sea Ranch. This time a storm knocked out power out. The owners were reachable and extremely concerned to do what they could, although the speedy resolution of the problem was probably due to P G & E and luck.

Since we were there the last time, it has been even further upgraded and is the best appointed VRBO home we have ever rented. It is absolutely perfect for two couples. The home is spacious but cozy.
