Heaven, beautiful, calmness and just time to found yourself again

The view from the place was fantastic. It was quiet, relaxing and beautiful. The room was great, clean and neat.

It was difficult to get a hold of the owner, we waited for some time outside to get into the place, the phone number does not exist. The gate is very difficult to operate, once locked from the inside it makes it hard to open from the outside.

Our host Eric is a very friendly and helpful person. Overall staying was good.

Stunning location with view over the vineyards towards the Orange River

No water in the morning to shower due to breakage in the municipal pipeline

Excellent gem of the Northern Cape

The attention to detail and customer service was truly excellent!! Nothing we ask for was ever to much for them, they just made a plan. I highly highly recommend The Overlook and would stay there again without a doubt.

There were a few challenges with water which were completely outside of the Overlook's control. They really went out of their way to limit the impact on out stay.

Perhaps they can include the breakfast in 'n whole price with the room, and not separate!

There was nothing not to like! Our aircon didn't work but they moved us to another room!!

great view. Excellent breakfast delivered to the room

The geyser needed to be switched on earlier. Had to wait for hot water for shower. No great hassle as we had time to enjoy a drinks and appreciate the view

We arrived late evening after 9 but the young gentleman was right there to let us in and showed us how everything worked, WiFi password etc. The cottage was clean and well equipped. Loved the place and will definitely stay there again

Unfortunately did not eat there at all but the accommodation was overall perfect. Had a bit of trouble finding the location but managed.

We loved the view, the rooms and the setting. The cottages were very comfortable and equipped with everything anyone may need for a shirt stay. There was a high attention to details to ensure the guests were comfortable.
