One of the best hotels in Adelaide! The location is across the road from Rundle Mall and close to parking. The staff were incredible and the room was gorgeous! The beds are really comfortable and we loved that the minibar was complimentary
Couple of small dirty marks on the armchair, and the bathroom door creaked really loud which wasn't fun late at night.

Rooms were delightful.

The hotel is in an excellent location, central to everything but the room was very quiet. We had a complimentary mini bar that was re-stocked daily.
We were given the wrong room when we checked in and then the duty manager rang us after 11pm and asked us to move rooms.

The Mayfair is beautiful, all staff are wonderful, location is great, loved the rooftop bar, room was lovely and clean. 10/10 so happy with our stay
There is nothing I didn't like about our stay

Good place to stay
The dog accommodation is excessively expensive at $150 per night, and the provided pet food is of low quality, not endorsed by any vet. Additionally, the bed becomes uncomfortably hot at night, and the non-breathable quilt had to be abandoned, relying on the air conditioning to maintain a cooler environment.

Great location
Dinner booking made didn’t get logged, some minor things surprising for price pitched

From the moment we walked through the doors, we were greeted by the friendliest concierge. He went above and beyond to make sure our children were happy, making sure there were even enough chocolates to go around.

Facilities were nice and well kept great location also

The bed was spacious and comfortable. Staff were responsive. Overall, it was a nice stay, but I would’ve expected more from a 5 star hotel and for the price point. The complimentary minibar was appreciated, although the selection was rather limited.
Housekeeping wasn’t very thorough, in terms of replenishing things (e.g., coffee pods and cups) as well as cleanliness. Wifi was very slow, and shower pressure was poor. Reception was often unmanned, and the lack of security especially at night was a bit concerning. There was a lack of communication and coordination between staff (e.g., in terms of late check-out request). The bond of $100 per night gets a bit hefty if you’re staying a while, this was not advertised on their website(s), and should ideally be refunded immediately upon check out—still haven’t received the invoice they promised, too. It would’ve been better if they had an onsite pool, spa, and sauna.

great location close to everything, clean , friendly staffs
Hindley St is a street with many pubs, noisy in the evening, surrounded by heavy pub music

Everything at the Mayfair was superb. From the checkin to checkout. Staff competent + friendly. The room was brilliant. Great diversity of pillows from firm to soft. Beautiful view down the main mall. So quiet, no road noise at all.
The lobby has relaxing sofas to wait in. Excellent location + close to lots of fabulous little wine bars. Walking distance to everything you would need.
Nothing to dislike. Can't comment on breakfast as we ate elsewhere.

Lovely room with a boutique touch that you don't really get at the other main hotels in Adelaide. Great location for west end restaurants and activities.
We had already paid online but then had to authorise the full payment plus a bond when checking in, even after I tried to explain that I had already paid. Was surprised that there were no streaming services available on the tv.

Location is great, room was very quiet and hotel staff offered turn down service every day.
Reception was a bit dingey. Breakfast buffet offered good selection but food was pretty avergage (chalky eggs, soggy bacon, stale tasting has browns etc).

Location, very central! Quality furniture & fittings within room. Very clean.
Shower temperature was just warm, not hot. Too cool for myself & my partners liking.
Fridge was rather small.

The beds are very comfortable, and the robes are luxurious. Roof top bar is a great place to sit and look at the city sky line. Location is fantastic, close to some of the best bars and restaurants in the city.
Carpets could do with a clean.
