Looked absolutely stunning on arrival. Amazingly comfortable bed in the deluxe suite.
Long story short this place won't last long. It's clearly bad management that won't address their bad reviews. Example: One of many!! Zacuzzi not working in the deluxe suite for your romantic getaway will be ruined. Hasn't been working for a while now going by the reviews. Unfortunately I read them after we stayed here otherwise we would've chosen somewhere else. All I can say is read the bad reviews first before booking this highly potential place. Staff fantastic but it must be extremely difficult to work here because they are the one's that have to deal with the complaints not the owners. Beautiful place to stay but completely spoiled by being extremely badly managed!!

The staff are lovely, always smiling and can’t do enough for you. Meals were lovely. Probably the the most comfortable beds I’ve slept on in a guesthouse.
The furniture in the room needed a little bit of love, a light sand and varnish. The water was not very hot for morning showers, passable but I prefer a hot shower with the option of regulating the temperature myself.
4.3
The room was nicely decorated and very comfortable bed.
Ironing board needed in the room.

Staff were welcoming- meeting us on arrival, friendly and food was excellent.
Pressure of the cold water

Great service. Staff are exceptionally nice and very helpful. Superb breakfast. Compliments to chef. Idyllic quiet location with lovely ambiance.
Shower takes a while to get hot but if you are patient it gets there. Blind on window hard to raise to make most of view.

Breakfast was very basic. Very small pot of tea for two, had to ask for 3 refills!

A warm welcome and fantastic breakfast. Rooms were very clean and comfortable

The food for the evening was exceptional
The bed was very comfortable, and no noise from bar
The location of the hotel was very rural and we could sit outside in the sun with a drink. Lovely.
The decor in the hotel was very nice. Really pleasant
Arrived early, 2pm not 3pm.
Building locked, with mobile number for owner. Rang owner who pointed out we were early.
Rooms not ready and were told we could stay in Bridal suite for 3 nights which was one of the two rooms already booked. But for the 2nd room the owner said we could stay in one room for 1 night and then we would need to change room for last 2 nights. When i said we didn't want to do that owner pointed out he was doing us a favour letting us in early. It was about 2.30pm by then!!
A really nice member of staff Christine sorted our rooms out to our satisfaction, took her about 10 minutes.
She was a really nice lady and a hospitality gem.
No plug in sink in neither our ensuite nor brothers ensuite
No chair in room so couldn't sit at dresser
Blind at window could not be kept up
Fire alarm went off at 5.30 am so we ended up stood outside for 15 minutes. Not easy to get out as doors locked at front of house. Nothing offered to compensate
The food of an evening was exceptional

This place is in a beautiful setting, gorgeous style building and decorated very stylish.
unfortunately I was unaware when I booked it that the bar and restaurant are not opened on a Monday and Tuesday night. This meant I had to go back into the nearest town for food after travelling almost 2 hours that day. I had also booked a room with a bath but the jacuzzi jets were not working and I had to fill the bath with the shower head which meant it wasn’t warm. There was also no heating on in the bathroom.

Restaurant was closed on Mon and Tues.

The breakfast was excellent served in nice atmosphere. The service was great and very attentive. Nice bonus was seeing the very friendly dog who was resting outside. The dinner in the restaurant was top class. We have eaten here many times before and have never been disappointed. This was our first time to stay and we look forward to going back again.

Such a beautiful place to stay, to catch up with friends, unwind and get away from it all. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Would highly recommend. Food was amazing too.

Breakfast was really delicious. Staff so friendly. Really lovely food and decor.
Bed and wallpaper were beautiful. Other furniture, particularly wardrobe need updating.

The beer was nice and vold
4.3
The ruticness of location, the bar/ restaurant, the layout of room.
No reception at accommodation, I had to traips into a packed bar just to enquire if I was in the correct location.
I was informed breakfast was at 9 following morning which at the time of booking, didn't incate it was a late start for breakfast and I had to leave early following morning. Staff were lovely and I couldn't fault them on that. I was offered that a continental breakfast if cereal be left at my door b4 they close but I was not happy to have milk from capsules. So I declined that.
They did reimburse me €15 for not being able to provide me with breakfast facilities. The manager would not be in until 9 I was informed.
WiFi connection and phone coverage was poor. Once connected to WiFi which had to be done beside an area in hall upstairs, but when I went to my room it was lost again.
And without sounding like a moaner... I was so disappointed that I had to fund my way out of this establishment via an exit door opposite my room upstairs. I went down stairs to leave my room key which had a 2nd key attached, and this key couldn't open any door downstairs. I was literally frustrated by the whole experience. I returned to 1st floor and walked to exit door hoping I wouldn't set off any alarms but I had to leave. I had to climb down the back stairwell into a yard and had no way of clearing exiting the rear except through a service gate at side, passing kegs and bins. I was thankful there wasn't a lock on the gate. I would have had to climb a wall. Genuinely frustrated with the experience
Location looked idyllic tbh and I was impressed by its location, and design. But it lacked important things. I was disappointed staff didn't inform me of how to leave the premises.

Nice setting, clean and comfortable, nice breakfast included.
we came back from town, thought would have been able to have a drink in the pub, so be good to have opening times for the pub available
