Great selection of hot and cold options for breakfast. Majority of staff were very friendly and helpful.
Service was a bit slow at times but hotel was quite busy during our stay.

The staff at diner and cleaning staff were so lovely and friendly. The rooms were super clean and decoration was beautiful. The hotel had great well kept space and plenty of nooks to sit and relax, all very comfortable.
The pool changing rooms were freezing. I brought my one year old swimming and he was absolutely freezing when changing. Crying mad and blue, shaking, cold air was blowing from the vents over us. The staff at reception were not great by email or in person and not accommodating for babies. This let down the experience.

Bedroom was very spacious and bathroom was huge and it had a window which could be opened to release the steam from shower. Dinner was delicious and as we arrived late, just before 9pm the receptionist told us that she would check us in afterwards so we could eat as we were starving after traveling for 5 hours.
Only downside was breakfast. It was self service and I found the hot food was not very hot and that was at half hour after breakfast started.

The room was perfect size for us, breakfast was lovely and the leisure club was brilliant.
There was a lift issue the last day of our stay but we were able to use the staff lift as we had a pram..
4.2
The grounds and the building were lovely and the staff were helpful
Fixed price menu in the restaurant. The restaurant was nearly empty and I would have preferred to eat in there rather than the bar, but it was too expensive and too much food on the fixed price.

Big room and quiet

Food was excellent, including a varied and nourishing breakfast.
Only one thing was missing, in our view! Often, if not normally indeed, each bedroom is furnished also with a long mirror.
For us, the only mirror was in the bathroom.
But overall our stay was a delight, thanks also to staff and the attraction of the place: gardens so well manicured, etc., and the quality of furnishing and overall decor in the restaurant and bar must be the envy of other places.

Room was comfortable and clean.
I was woken up by loud hammering and building works at 8am in the morning. A JCB was also outside my window working away.
One does not expect to have their sleep disturbed in this manner at a supposedly 4 star hotel.

Nice quiet room. Great views. Amazing grounds. Nice staff. Clean. Parking. Period features.

Staff, clean, grounds situation of property
Being charged €1.30 for a dash of lime in a soda water & lime! And being charged for an americano coffee as part of breakfast!

The staff were all very helpful
The location and the lovely views
4.2
Very nice comfortable hotel, plenty of seating areas for residents. We ate in the bar each evening where the food was good, although the menu was rather limited and the lack of staff meant we had to wait to be served sometimes.
The cold tap in the bath was so stiff it could not be used. The maintenance man sent to the room could not repair it. I hope it was repaired while the room was empty after we left. (We did also have a separate shower.)

Attended a wedding here & stayed overnight. Absolutely wonderful - the event, the staff, the food. All excellent. Fab location, set in wonderful grounds. The old stately house & the new buildings blended seamlessly & it was charming throughout.
A good breakfast always ensures a good review & this didn’t disappoint. Excellent set up & great variety of choices.
I wish I’d had enough time to tryout the leisure facilities but unfortunately we ran out of time.
Nothing. It was great.

Pool facilities were brilliant.
Amazing breakfast.
Food very good in the bar.
Excellent value for money.
Room very clean, but presentation of room quite basic for standard of hotel.
4.2
The food was very disappointing. This hotel needs updating.

Breakfast was great
The bed and beddings were below expectation. Noisy bed and low standard pillows
4.2
Breakfast was okay with few items not available when we sat down at 10.15am but quality was good and dinner in the bar was very nice.
WE hoped that there would be entertainment on earlier than 9.30pm Saturday

The kids loved the pool.

Staff were great. Room was nice and clean. Location was great. Shower was great! Access to the pool was easy. Overall, it's a nice hotel within a nice surrounding.
Picking holes but the bar food was just ok but done the job.
