Maravilloso

El personal es fantástico -- dan información muy útil y ayudan con hacer reservas para cualquier actividad o transporte de la zona. Además son super amables. Es fácil hacer planes un día antes de cualquier actividad así que se puede llegar tranquilo sin tener todo decidido antes. Hay muchos restaurantes excelentes cerca y es fácil ir caminando a ellos. Los lugares comunes son muy agradables con una vista hermosa. Y los desayunos también son ricos. La habitación era cómoda con unas ventanas grandes y mucho espacio.

La luz que estaba al lado de la cama en nuestra habitación no fue del tipo favorable para leer. Como nos gusta leer de noche, echamos de menos este pequeño detalle.

Ubicación perfecta para estar tranquilo y cerca del pueblo y excursiones. Los señores de recepción muy simpáticos y dispuestos a ayudar

Juste génial, l’accueil par Ro est parfait très blagueur et surtout très bienveillant ! Nous avons pu avoir toutes les infos et aides pr nos réservations d’activités et de transport pour la fortuna. La chambre est top et le lieu très agréable. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux 😍 et la propreté est de mise ici !

Super ontbijt, mooi uitzicht, super schone kamers, heel veel info over monteverde en de tours. Heel goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding.

Wel erg gehorig, we deelde met 3 kamers 1 kleine badkamer en wc en dat vonden wij wel te veel mensen.

Good enough place to stay if you don’t have a bottomless budget

Great staff. Decent breakfast. Great views to the ocean, weather permitting.

The staff is amazing. really good value for money for the double private rooms. overall. we could even cook, so it felt just like home. I recommend

Such a wonderful place to explore Santa elena and Monteverde! amazing welcome, the staff here is truly great. Talked a lot to Rue(so sorry if I spelled your name wrong!) And felt very well taken care of. Location is amazing, the view is beautiful and breakfast was amazing!

So one small thing. The bathroom. Doors to bathroom should not be transparent! And when you can't put paper in the toilet, the trashcan should have a lid on it. Fix the bathroom doors and trashcans and it would be a bit more hygienic and comfortable :)

Great location, helpful staff and comfy room.

Excellent place with very friendly helpful staff. They are on hand to advise about anywhere you want to visit. We had a huge comfortable room with kitchen with an incredible view. Breakfast was served in the communal area of the property and it was delicious and prompt! Everyone normally has a tour first thing so they are well prepared to cater for a rush of people. Most of the reserves are 15/20 mins away so it's a great base. Supermarket and restaurants just around the corner.

We chose a room with no a/c as assumed Santa Elena was cool. We were wrong. Unfortunately the town's traffic is quite loud, so we couldn't keep the window open and there was no fan.

great hostel in Monteverde

the staff was very nice and helpful. also, the terrace looked nice, but we couldn’t use it as it was too windy all the time. breakfast was nice!

the wind could be heard very well in the room, it was actually very loud at night. you have to book the breakfast time the day before. not really a negative point, but we felt a little unflexibel because of it during our stay. the water in the shower wouldn’t always get warm.

Great value for a really comfortable place

The view of the hotel is amazing! there’s great chair and lounge spots you can relax and read a book/play a game whilst watching the mountain. The communal kitchen is really well equipped and really clean! The place was worth the money. super clean, friendly staff and great location. also we got an upgrade upon arrival, so we had our own bathroom which was so nice. thank you so much.

The mattress is really soft and not so good for my back.

Even though the weather to bad to use it, the terrace was very nice. Our welcome at the reception was very friendly and we received good advices for activities in the area in a non pushy way.

Our room was in another house next door and WiFi connection struggled. We had to make a reservation for breakfast at 7 the earliest (national park opens at 7 as well). earlier than that they won't even let you in the breakfast room. The bed war quite hard (as I like it) but the pillow was super uncomfortable.

I really like the view from the terrace of the hotel and i like the public area of the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. The supermarket is only 5 minutes away and the town center is no more than 10 minutes away.

We really enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend it:)

It was the perfect location close to the city centre. Lots of nice areas to relax. Really nice and helpful staff that will help you with tours and whatever you need.

We could hear everyone outside our room. Even conversations in the reception. We could also hear whenever cars drove by. So it was quite loud.

All perfect, calm , chill, good breakfast (inkluded with MTV 2000er music), good rooms, cheap beer, never slept that good on my trip, everything how it should be!! Especially the Host Ro ( the others are great, too) was extremely helpful, super friendly and blessed us with his positive energy. Ro changed our day and is the heart of that hostel. ( at least for me) Ro will provide you with any information you need (seriously, he knows everything), I hope you will meet him!

The wind is quite loud in the night, but I loved that cozy feeling being inside while it’s stormy and it’s mostly everywhere in Monteverde like that..
