A big apartment (for travelling, I'd say) with a spacious room and a big living room. The location was great, albeit right across a very popular eating spot where things keep going until 11 pm in the evening. There's no double-glazing, so the noise isolation of the windows aren't great, but we survived (delivery trucks start going fairly early for someone on vacation). That said, it's a great location and if you want quiet you should probably go for the outskirts or further away. There was a mobile aircon that we didn't use. Even though Italy has been suffering from several heatwaves, Montepulciano cools sufficiently at night, so a fan was sufficent for us. Breakfast was fantastic: You get vouchers for Caffé Poliziano. Big breakfasts with probably one of the best views over Tuscany. Also, great confectionaries (to buy).

Not a bad thing (we don't mind, but others may): No bed making daily, but they'll replenish the teas, etc.

Very spacious and well appointed. We had the making room which had a separate lounge area which was wonderful and a washing machine in the bathroom.
The stairs - but this is to be expected. The bed was pretty firm and the pillows probably need replacing.

Lot of room.
Steep stairs. Could be a bit noisy late at night.

Great location!! This apartment is in the center of the city and has everything you need. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is spacious. It includes a breakfast voucher to a caffe across the street that has one of the most incredible views. The host is so kind and helped us with our bags. You do have to walk up a couple flights of stairs, but we had no issue with that. Great location!

The property is within the city walls and centrally located to all the sights. It also has (public) available pay parking (10 Euros per day) that is very close to the property. The innkeeper is very helpful, and gave us recommendations for restaurants nearby that were very good.

I was travelling with my mother and we had all the comfort needed as the salon was actually transferred into the second bedroom.

clean and spacious. perfect location.

Well appointed rooms of a generous size in a fabulous location.

The room was clean and in the center of town. You could walk everywhere. The host was helpful with the luggage and telling us where to park. We were very happy with the room accommodations 😊 Would stay here again, you are literally in the middle of the Old Town. Added bonus, the hamburger place two doors over makes a great burger, be sure to order at the counter, no table service whatsoever. We have visited this town numerous times and it just keeps getting better and more ‘up scale’, we love ❤️ it!
As with any medieval village, parking and luggage is always a challenge but worth the effort!😊

great location and helpful staff
no fault of hotel but one needs to park outside the walls, so best to drop off bags, then park.

Everything was great! The host was very nice and helpful and went way beyond what he should have to help us! The room was amazing and clean. The design was very Tuscany and there was free Coffey/Tea.
The accesses with the luggage was hard as it was 3rd floor with no elevator.
