Beautiful resort, location, food & staff
4.3
Beautiful, peaceful setting. Back to nature with lake's, greenery and outside spaces to lounge around everywhere. Rooms located either by the pool or by the lake. Bikes an kayaks available free of charge.
Cafe open only until 7pm. No cocktails/wine/spirits only beer . Nowhere close by to eat after this time. When on holiday its good to eat out late with a drink and chat .
Not many of the staff speak English the communication was a pain. No book swap available , no shop near by . Taxi prices from hotel extreme ( book your own) wifi very poor. No English TV ( no where to go after 7 there's only so much cycling and kayaking this is why tv or books would have been Good )
Lots of areas that could be used as a small snack bar/ bar but empty . Lots of staff around to. Why not have them serve food and drink . Lots and lots of empty rooms and space. Bampu you need to utilise the space you have, you could be amazing .

Le lieu est très agréable, les bungalows sont au bord d'une lagune, la vue est très belle, la chambre est spacieuse et propre, le restaurant est moyen et le service decevant
le petit déjeuner peut et doit être amélioré

The resort is wonderful, the rooms are really big and if you want to disconnect about everything and everyone this is the perfect place. Also they have a beautiful pool and the staff is very nice.
Minor stuff: the WiFi on my room wasn’t working well, I think that the signal was weak because near the pool everything was ok.
Also I used the gym and it needs a bit of maintenance, mostly the weight lifting machine.

Schönes großes Zimmer in einem riesigen Resort. Tolles Frühstücksbüffet. Sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr gutes Preis / Leistungsverhältnis.
Weite Laufwege.

We absolutely loved the luxurious nature around and inside the resort. The wooden walkway through mangrove forest to the bay, stright from the resort, was splendid. Great place for birdwatching. We stayed in the low season so the resort was a heaven of tranquility. The staff was very kind and helpful. The food in the restaurant (by the inner lake) was outstanding (the best Thai, spicy salad ever!). Generous breakfast with good buffet and excellent khao tom.

We stayed in this resort for one night prior to getting the ferry to Koh Kood. It was a lovely resort for an overnight stay. The room was spacious and comfortable. I would say it was a little tired looking inside and not as fresh as it looks in the photos but it was lovely looking out onto the lake. We ate in the little cafe the night we arrived and the food was incredible. The team made an ad-hoc vegetarian dish for my husband which was great. In the morning we got up, had a lovely breakfast and then had a lovely walk around the resort which has some very well looked after bunnies and a beautiful lake where seafood is farmed. I could see that in high season this would be a great place to chill.
On the night we arrived we got there about 6.30pm and the restaurant was already closed, and the garden cafe was closing at 8pm. We did get a lovely meal there as noted above but if you are arriving late do take this into consideration as we couldn’t find anywhere that was a very close walk nearby.

I had the pleasure of staying at Banpu Resort Trat on my recent vacation, and I can't help but share an extremely positive experience.
Since our arrival, the resort staff has been welcoming, friendly and always available to listen and satisfy our requests. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and clean, and the comfort of the bed ensured a restful sleep each night.
The resort is surrounded by a lovely green area, and the location is perfect.
The walk through the mangrove forest on the walkway, the bar and restaurant by the lake with the picturesque walkways that allowed us to discover hidden corners and breathtaking views was enchanting.
The breakfast buffet offered by the resort was plentiful and varied, with a wide choice of both local and international dishes to suit all palates. Also the restaurant, open for lunch and dinner, offered a wide selection of delicious dishes, with fresh and quality ingredients.
In conclusion, my stay at Banpu Resort Trat was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this resort to anyone who wants to have a relaxing and enjoyable holiday surrounded by nature and a welcoming atmosphere. Can't wait to return in the future!

The staff in the coffee shop were awesome! The bicycles were fun.
Our room obviously hadn't been used in some time. It had cobwebs and didn't feel very fresh. We made the mistake of booking the more expensive room with the pool access and there was no one else around there, which was creepy as well. Most people are staying in the cheaper, more modern rooms. We regretted not doing the same. There is absolutely nothing nearby the hotel, so make sure you stop by a 7-eleven, pharmacy, etc. in town before driving to the hotel. The breakfast bar looked big but actually it was just spread out and there really wasn't much on it. Notably missing were staples such as bacon, potatoes, and fried rice. And only pre-cooked fried eggs, no scrambled, etc.

The cafe setting and food were amazing. Pool was large and very clean.
The tiles around the pool were extremely hot so make sure you keep your shoes on until you are in the pool.

The staff went out of their way to prepare us food when we arrived after the closing time of the restaurant aswell as helping us with the menu as it 2as all in Thai.
Outside our terrace smelt very strongly of sewage, not sure if it is permanent or if they had a broken sewage pipe but us as smokers had a really bad time every time we had to go out for a cigarette.

We stayed there during the new year weekend so there were a lot of guests and the hotel put up a full breakfast buffet. Our booking got upgraded to a villa which was highly appreciated. It's so spacious you can do the whole yoga routine and then some comfortably. Loved the mangrove walkway at the back of the hotel, and the free bikes for guests to ride around the premises too.

Great place to stay over before moving to koh kood Island. Clean, relaxed, a lot of rooms to choose from (I liked the private area with pool). Good food, coffee and the staff are very friendly. This was my third stay at Banpu.
4.3
Cheap, nice place. Big space in room and balcony.
Check-in 24 hrs. Not far from pier.
Mosquitoes, crowded.

Very peaceful, beautiful and great value for money. Really really nice.
