Resortti oli todella siisti! Kauniit, vaaleat bungalowit ihanalla terassilla ja näköalalla merelle. Allas alue oli tyylikäs ja puhdas. Aamupala oli monipuolinen ja ihanalla paikalla. Henkilökunta aivan loistava ja plussaa kyydityksistä satamaan ja takaisin.
Emme keksi kohteesta mitään negatiivista. Loistava paikka!

The staff were all amazing, so helpful and our room was serviced on a daily basis. Breakfast was excellent and free kayaking/paddle boarding which was great fun. Although the food was a bit more expensive than other places nearby the quality of cooking was outstanding.
As the resort is a bit far from the village for walking especially at night there was only a limited selection of alcoholic drinks, no spirits or cocktails on offer. Also the limited selection of music played in the main restaurant area (literally only 2 CDs of western soft rock on a constant loop) gave me some of the worst ear-worms after hearing the same songs morning, noon and night. These are only minor points, overall Mira Montra was great and superb value for money.

We spent 1 night in the hilltop room before moving to the beachfront villa. The beachfront villa was the way to go. The staff were very helpful in transferring our luggage between rooms. They also assisted us with renting scooters, scheduling massages & arranging our transfer to Koh Kood upon checkout.
The location was wonderful, we used the kayaks twice to visit Koh Kham and snorkel.
The only downside that we did not realize upon booking was that there is not a bar at the resort. We enjoy having a few cocktails while on vacation. The only option at the restaurant was a red or a white wine.

Clean, bed is comfortable, room is big and great location. Compare to other hotels is pretty good deal
No sound proofed at all. Easily hear every movement of the room that next to us. Staff were not so helpful in providing useful information even about the logistics arrangements from island and such.
9.0
The views from the room.
The staff could have informed us not to go swimming during low tide as one child encountered a sea urchin which required medical treatment.

I do not recommend this hotel!
The rooms are outdated and do not look like the ones in the pictures at all. We paid for the best room and they accommodated us in a small and dirty room. We traveled with a small child and we did not rest all night so we decided to leave the next day to stay elsewhere on our own.
The hotel is isolated, very poor breakfast, far from other attractions, the beach is dirty, the cottages that serve as accommodation need modernization and do not look like the ones in the pictures. In the room, the floor and walls are dirty. It is full of insects and lizards get everywhere. The air conditioner is located above the bed, which was very inconvenient because we could not sleep the child under it.
When leaving, we asked for a refund for at least half of the 7 nights we paid for, but they refused.

The pool, beach and clubhouse are great. Beautiful setting and well presented. Breakfast and food overall were great. I have a nut allergy and felt safe in their hands. Staff were accommodating, warm and went the extra mile. Rooms were spacious and well equipped. Clean and comfortable.
Not enough beach and pool seating when it gets busy.

Loved everything about this place, the views are amazing. Facilities are great very modern and the staff were really nice! Food also excellent.
They really need to renovate the area between dining and rooms on the hill. Not in keeping with the rest of the resort.
No cocktails available, would be nice!

I mean...just do yourself a favor and book it. Period. It's HEAVEN ON EARTH. Everything is perfect from the location directly on the beach, to the rooms with amazing wooden floor, perfect bed, style, outdoor shower, aircon if your environmental conscience can handle it, kettle in room to the pol to the breakfats/dining/lobby area to the AMAZING staff that clean, pick you up, do everything in their power to make you feel welcome. Just book it.
I guess the food (lunch/dinner) - there is better options on the island. But you also dont have to eat at the resort every day and it is actually nice to eat else where

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The resort is generally quieter (not crowded or noisy). We rented a scooter from the hotel (reasonably priced) which proved to be a good idea, to cover the island and see the different beaches. As the hotel restaurant closes at about 20:30 we mostly ventured out for dinner every evening. We made use of the hotel's free standup paddle boards to enjoy a sunset paddle.
The Mira Montra seems to be one of the better quality resorts on Koh Mak. The hotel bed was comfortable and everything in the room worked perfectly fine, but having said that, the hotel rooms are starting to show their age a bit. We were a little underwhelmed by the beach directly in front of the hotel. It seems the better beaches are on the opposite side of the island. The breakfast offering misses a fresh omelet station.

It is a really beautiful and quit hotel with a very nice beach and sea.
The breakfast was a mix of local and international food and the stuff were super friendly.
the bathroom was a bit dark - it could be more bright/more light around the mirror.
BUT in general this is no reason for a complaint!!!

location is nice with a beautiful beach.
nice interior and details in the room with a nice terrasse, stylish eating area and nice and breakfast ok. spool is really nice.
Not really clean for the price, towels not washed properly and lot of insects in the room because the ceiling : not better than bamboo hut. Dinner and lunch too expensive and not tasting good.
The hotel seemed not to be prepared for customers and it was hard to communicate in English.
Expensive for what you get and the beach could have been cleaner (a lot of trash)
