Nothing. Didn't stay in the property....and unfortunately shortly after paying 100.00 USD our group decided not to stay.
1. The host was abusive to a member of her staff.
2. The facility is old and tatty and dingy and should not be accommodated on Booking.com.
3. The facility was unprepared for guests as the bathroom in the allocated room was not working.
4. The host was more interested in talking to friends than sorting out her guests.
5. Parking was like playing 'musical chairs '
6. The host was not interested to find out why we were leaving shortly after checking in and paying 100.00usd
7. We had to ask for WiFi info.
3.5
It was owned by Shirley and the rest of the staff were really nice.
The room was very small making it quite crampt. The shower needed some maintenance. There were mosquitoes regularly each night.

I appreciate the kindness and friendly atmosphere. Also, the host was kind and approachable. All in all it feels like home a comfortable atmosphere. I also appreciate the set up for coffee or tea much appreciated. Thank you.
I absolutely have no complaints, I felt comfortable and safe and that’s what we were looking for.

My partner couldn't get to smoke, and the television didn't work, there wasn't any cable

Everything is close I did not eat cook or anything there
- The host was only friendly sometimes. We felt as though we were staying in some old rich hag house complaining about what she is earning while she drives a late model BMW 7 series.
- from the moment we reach was not good as we( my daughter and I) we’re pad locked out of the house after being shown the room by the rude housekeeper on the veranda (as per the host instructions) while it was 34 outside like we were criminal! We waited 35 minutes for the host to show up and she was not easy to talk to as her only concern is making money!
- host talk to the timid but rude housekeeper like she is a slave (made us uncomfortable just hearing the host banter her orders)
- the place has a heavy not well maintained high resistance to move grill or gate at the exit that must be pad locked upon exit most times. Was so annoying
- host tried to hustle us to pay extra for AC
- host tried to hustle us to pay an additional $12 from the price agreed online and shown clearly in the booking confirmation.
- pictures in the ad are not accurate at all. When I spoke to the host about this she played dumb!
- one bed was nice the other a 80’s hard coil spring bed (NOT NICE!)
- bringing bags up 1 short stairs then one long staircase was not fun
- bathroom toilet seat broken (got cut from being pinched in the but cheek)
- shower head holder broken
- water was freezing in the morning and hot water not working as advertised
- not dirty but not clean! Under the beds have not been cleaned in years! Huge allergy and asthma alert!
-NO TV as advertised and not willing to take one from an empty room
- wifi works but not in all areas as advertised
- almost killed myself at least 4 times in the place as floor is not level with 2 inch difference in the floor in many places.
I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Go up the road only 100m and you’ll be happy!
Honestly I wish I could get half or all my money back! But I doubt it could happen!

I loved my stay here. Cute, quaint, spotless. Shirley, the owner, is lovely.

The room was good for the price. Bed was comfy and room was clean.
A lot of false advertising. If they were more truthful about what they have and what they dont have, people will still rent.
3.5
It was in a convenient place near to where I went

I didn't get breakfast I'm not sure breakfast was offered However I'd recommend friends and family who are looking for affordable overnight stay or longer Walking distance to Beach Restaurant is a plus
TV service but there's WiFi and no kitchen facility The constant background music with no variety
3.5
Close to the city center with a lot of food options
They didn't clean the room in 5 days, there is a refrigerator you can use but somebody use our things

The location was ok
I didn’t like the Tv only 1 Channel
3.5
Good location, quiet neighborhood.
It was quite expensive for what we got. It was unconfortable falling asleep because the Matrace and pillows were coated in some plastic cover. Also almost no water and of course cold.

Despite booking last minute our host Shirley went well out of her way to accommodate us. She was very kind and attentive, and we felt truly at home. It means a lot to meet someone like Shirley, it is worth coming to Port Antonio just to meet her.

The facility had a fridge and water cooker for communal use, there was an AC in the room, the WiFi was good.
The mattress in the single bed consisted of two mattresses one on top of the other. The bed was not comfortable.
The check in was tedious, as we were almost not let in although we had booked.
Only cash payment.

In the end, we agreed with the owner on compensation that we will stay in this room for the second night as well, and we will only be charged for one night.
We agreed to that, and the owner also promised to take us to the bus early the next morning.
After arriving at the accommodation, we experienced a shock...
If we had other alternative accommodation in reserve, we would have left immediately after viewing the room.
We arrived in the evening and were supposed to stay two nights. According to the description, the ordered room should have: Landmark view, Air conditioning, Refrigerator, Ironing facilities, Coffee maker, Iron, Microwave, Flat-screen TV, Electric kettle, Wardrobe or closet, Drying rack for clothing...
However, none of this was in the room, even though it was stated in the reservation...
Only a bed, two chairs, chest of drawers, old type TV, fan, shower, toilet.
The room was approximately 3x3 meters.
Both the mattress and the pillows were wrapped in plastic with covers, so the rustling of the plastic woke us up all night with every movement.
There was no place to unpack our things, because the room was so small that we could barely fit our suitcases in there, and then the door could not even be opened.
After warning that it was not the ordered room, the owner promised us to move to the ordered correct room the next day. But we already had city tours and trips planned.
The owner claimed that we should have written to her on WhatsUp about the payment.
But the reservation was through booking.com, where we also have a payment card, I repeatedly confirmed the reservation and the time of arrival in the booking.com message, but for security reasons I did not want to communicate through another application, only through booking.com messages, from where the reservation was made .
Even the next day at 10:00 a.m., however, our room was not available, and we had nowhere to move. We lost a lot of time and wanted to finally go on trips.
In the end, we agreed with the owner on compensation that we will stay in this room for the second night as well, and we will only be charged for one night.
We agreed to that, and the owner also promised to take us to the bus early the next morning.

For the price, I can't complain

Location is close to the town and park

The hospitality was contorting
Well, for a small property, they did there best to meet my needs and concerns.

The host was really nice and the place is perfectly located and feels safe and clean.
The bed was really hard and therefore I had a bit of a rough night. But the firmness of beds is a personal thing I guess.
3.5
The owner was really nice, she made sure that we are ok, especially the kids. If we needed anything she would help us especially to get around the place she would give us directions. Ms Shirley is very welcoming.
I have no complaint.

Shirley the owner is really a very nice person, it was a great pleasure to discuss with her and she help us to find local fisherman to organise fishing session

The place was clean.
The room that I selected was supposed to have air conditioning and a working television. None were in the room. There was alot of mosquitoes and the hot water was malfunctioning, it became burning hot. On this reservation there was to be free wifi as well, no wifi was provided and the water went away in the night, it came back 6:30am! There was not adequate bedding and the bed was hard, the sheet that we should cover with was very thin.
3.5
I loved the host ...she is just amazing and the environment was peacefully and tranquil. I would recommend it to everyone.
