The shandwick inn was excellent clean, welcoming, good parking, food was superb in both. Would use again.

The continental breakfast provided in a picnic woven basket outside our room was a lovely perk to wake up too.

Location and friendliness of staff
Room 2, electric shower either scalding hot or cold, tv has had a line on the screen for over a year. Car park was very dark. Kettle wasn’t working either but was swapped when reported.

Quite nice place, stayed in a little cottage. Reasonable food, bar-type but good selection. Nice staff. Lighting a bit dim but really, better than most in the Invergordon area.

loved the novelty of having a breakfast basket, never had that at a stay before, although unheated coissants wasn't great but good selection, the room was a good size absolutely loved the food the menu was fantastic and the staff were great helpful and friendly and we liked the location even though it was away from other amenities, would stay again
the room was a bit dusty but clean otherwise and we only had 2 teabags and we were there for 4 days and the wifi wasn't great

It was lovely and quaint. Nice setting. We only saw the housemaid who was very friendly and had prepared our room so that we could get an early check in.
Not the property’s fault but we were woken up by someone banging on our door at 4.20am. Who then proceeded to bang on other doors until they found who they were looking for. Really startled us.

Best Sundae ever @ dinner
Nice breakfast basket at the door.
Unclean. Shower cubicle with shower gel and hair from previous guests.
Dirty carpet.
No cups or glasses in the room. Unpleasant room overall with dangerous steps.

We got the little cottage in the grounds which was very cute and romantic.

Staff very friendly even though we showed up quite late, very comfortable, spacious, clean, excellent bathroom. Totally quiet, plenty of desk / table space and power sockets, delicious breakfast in a cute picnic basket. Very convenient location right next to the main road, plenty of parking.
Everything I'd expect from a much more expensive place, much cheaper than anywhere in the area.
The car park was a little uneven? Really this place was very good in all respects.

Very quiet, firm mattress on bed, clean and well aired room.
Only continental breakfast which was delivered to the room. Which was personally appreciated but full cooked should be available if required.

The staff were very helpful and polite, the food was excellent 👌.
My room was basic but OK for 1 night, there was an issue with the TV, having no ariel ,I couldn't get a picture, the young lady behind the bar sorted out the problem🙂.Continental breakfast was left outside the room in the morning.
Room very small ,I couldn't close the window blind.

It was perfect for our requirements, just a stop over after a long drive. Staff really friendly. Food was amazing in the restaurant can recommend the Venison Casserole, it was mouth watering. Room was spacious with great facilities. Not forgetting the continental breakfast. Wow. If ever we are this way again we would definitely stay again.
If I had to be critical the bed was not to our liking. Although no bed is ever like your own.
