Plenty of hot water at the odd hours I work. Clean and comfortable
What was supposedly Thai food was absolutely awful! I was looking forward to an interesting meal and appealing food that was anglicised Thai, or something

This was our second stay at The Highfield and again we found the staff friendly andhelpful. The room was clean and tidy with a full tray of complimentary coffee, tea, biscuits etc.
Two things let it down a little bit - the bar and breakfast. The bar service was very slow. The breakfast was probably the worst breakfast I've ever had
4.3
It was a very nice place and the food was excellent
Had no problems with it at all
4.3

4.3
The room was of a higher spec than expected at the rate
very minor but old fashioned mugs that barely hold and liquid
4.3
location
room was overlooking the road ( not a very busy road), mattresses weren’t firm so the sleeping could be better.
4.3
Location was ideal for us to visit family
Tea and coffee provided but either provide at lest two packets of biscuits or none. If providing replace if used.
4.3
Our room was clean and spacious, comfortable as well.
The breakfast choices wasn't much. But the staff service was excellent.
4.3
The dining, bar and lounge facilities were really exceptional as was the food.
the room was worn out and in need of renovations
4.3
I have stayed here a few times and usually very good
First room no heating, transferred and radiators still not working like those in corridors and downstairs where they were hot. Could it have been the reconstruction work? I was very cold throughout and became poorly on the second day
4.3
Lovely hotel in great location, friendly staff too.
Room was very cold even after turning the radiator up to full.
TV situated fr too high on the wall.

The decor was nice and rooms were clean
Children in the corridor running/ screaming at 8 in the morning and doors banging woke us up - I know it isn’t the hotels fault but the walls/doors are so thin you can hear everything. People could be more mindful of others or hotel give a reminder to guests.
Came to check in at 2 and rang the bell 3 times and waited 10 minutes for no one to show up. Left our bags in the car and came back at 6. Someone was there but wasn’t ideal.
4.3
nice hotel with a cozy pub and a very good Thai-Restaurant.

room was kitted out great, would just be nice if it was a more comfortable temperature, very warm over the 2 days
restaurant appeared fully booked and nowhere to park when i arrived, so i ended up getting a takeaway and coming back later, not what i wanted after a 4 hour drive
4.3
beds are always priority and quiet
