Our house has two bedrooms on the first floor and a family room with a wet bar and a 50” flat screen TV. The first floor bath has a tiled 6’ power shower and a granite topped sink.
The upstairs has a living room, a dining area, a fully equipped cherry kitchen with an island breakfast bar for three. Also a queen size bedroom, another bedroom with 2 twin beds (can be combined to one king sized bed), a full bath with deep soaking tub and a tiled shower. On this floor there is a small deck off of the living room and a large deck off the kitchen with a gas grill and a table with seating for 6. We have internet. Bring books as every bed has a reading light.
There is a lovely yard with gardens, birch trees, stone walls and staircases, so it feels like living in the trees. Plenty of parking. Limit of 6 guests any night. No exceptions.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. The owners made us feel so welcome and left a wonderful basket of breakfast and dinner goodies to enjoy. We can't say enough about this home. The house was immaculate and included a kitchen that was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The beds were super comfortable and the owners supplied all bed linens and towels. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to family and friends. Thank you Susan and Steve for your hospitality. Pat & Dave

We enjoyed our stay in Cape Porpoise. The house is as described. The main part of the house is on the second floor and is accessed by stairs, while the ground level has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and a family room. The place was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We met the hosts when we arrived, and they were accommodating and helpful. They also left us a welcome basket of goodies. I would recommend this as a vacation home for families.

The location of this house was excellent. It was a quick 5 minute drive to both Goose Rock Beach and Dock Square.
The house itself was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The outdoor shower was great for coming in from the beach. The hosts were kind enough to leave us a welcome basket with an easy dinner and quick breakfast. Our family of six enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again for next summer.

Convenient location
We found the house to be exactly as described so it totally met our expectations. It is very convenient home base for day trips. The grill on the deck is awesome. Lawn space was big enough for us to play lawn games. We did bring our bikes but found the road too narrow , hilly and windy and too much traffic for our comfort since we are not avid bikers so we didn’t use our bikes. I would say that the house would benefit from a dehumidifier in the lower level. The tv area does not comfortably accommodate many people. Realistically 3 but we did crowd in 6 of us by laying on the floor. That’s probably it’s biggest shortcoming since we like to watch tv together at night as a family after being out all day. Overall very satisfied.

Kennebunkport Experience
This home was just right for our family summer vacation. There are several beaches in the area and the back roads are wonderful for walking or biking. The house is roomy and laid out well for our group of eight. Kennebunkport area is a quaint and charming area to wander around and much more low key and quieter than Old Orchard.

Lovely house for a summer vacation
My sister's family and mine had a great week in this house. The owners responded right away to a minor plumbing problem. The I do wish the air conditioning was throughout the house and not just in the bedrooms.

A spacious comfortable house.
A house with lots of room for us, our daughter and grandson, who had their own private area. The owners made sure we had everything we needed.

A very comfortable property for our family reunion; owners are caring.
Very comfortable; owners leave products to assure a market visit is not necessary on day 1. Owners provided items requested after first year. Well-located in charming Cape Porpoise. As this is the owners' home, it is nicely furnished and cared for. Recommended for families or those who appreciate two bedrooms and a bath on two separate levels. Plenty of parking. Easy to recommend this property.

Great location! Perfect house for 2 young families!
Perfect house for two families on a summer vacation. Just a few minutes from downtown Kennebunkport and many beaches. The house is set up well for two families and almost acts like two homes in one. The owners were so great and gave us everything we needed and responded quickly to all questions leading up to the visit.

We could not have had a better family reunion anywhere else!!!
The Lamb's property provided the perfect spot for our family. There were 8 of us, all adults, and this home provided so much space to relax and be comfortable in. We also enjoyed being on the deck right off the kitchen, grilling and sitting around the large deck table. The location provided us opportunities to walk to the neighboring town of Cape Porpoise where there is a large market to pick up staples. Goose Rocks Beach was a very short drive away and we absolutely LOVED that beach. The tidal pools were amazing and at low tide we were able to have a few games of Bocce because it was not a super crowded beach. The Lambs had beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, a cooler as well as towels for our use so our day at the beach was as comfortable as possible. We also enjoyed going into Kennebunkport to walk and shop. The Lambs provided the "extras" to make our week a great one. Thank you so much!!

A perfect reunion spot
The house in Cape Porpoise was perfect for my family reunion in 2017. Downstairs, which is a completely walk-out level with family/tv room, a wonderful full bath and two bedrooms is completely private from upstairs which has two more bedrooms, a large private bath, living room, dining and kitchen. Kitchen is nicely outfitted. While there, the owners brought, unsolicited, a large Mr. coffee-type machine, to go with their Keurig, and a gorgeous new BBQ grill. Two decks off the upper level, one outfitted with and umbrella table, 6 chairs and the forementioned grill are lovely for sitting among the trees. One can see neighbors but there is no lack of privacy. Approx. 1/2 mile drive to the center of Cape Porpoise and 2 restaurants, plus Bradbury Bros. Market. 5 miles away on Rte. 1 is a large and lovely Hannaford SuperMarket.

Great location. Perfect for a family. Owners are very accommodating. Highly recommended!
The Lamb property is perfect for two families as there is an upstairs and downstairs. Our granddaughter LOVED being a short drive away from Goose Rocks Beach as it is the most kid friendly beach in the Kennebunkport area. The home is quiet and relaxing and yet a short walking distance away from Cape Porpoise which has great restaurants, a wonderful market and a cafe that parallels Whole Foods with ready made food. The town of Kennebunkport is a short drive away as is Ocean avenue where the Bush compound is located. The house has an outdoor shower so the sand never gets into the house. The Lambs provided beach towels, chairs and umbrellas. Downstairs is a large TV that works well with Netflix and Disney movies. The barbeque on the upstairs patio is also a great addition. I especially appreciated the Lamb's generosity in returning a pair of Cole Haan boots that I inadvertently left under our bed. That was above the call of duty. The only suggestion I would make is to improve the downstairs mattress in the corner bedroom for 70 year old backs, and install a couple more window air conditioners upstairs. Other than that the house was wonderful. I'd return again with our daughter's family. Thank you for your hospitality!

Loved this private getaway
We absolutely loved the spacious, yet private getaway. The house had a great layout, with two wonderful decks, large kitchen, and two living areas. The outdoor shower with hot water was a great place to rinse after coming back from the nearby Goose Rocks Beach. While the house is very private, it is in a great location in the quaint Cape Porpoise and close to the Kennebunks. The homeowners were very sweet and personal, as they greeted us when we arrived and stocked the kitchen. They even had beach chairs, towels, ice chests and a beach umbrella for us to use, which helped us get straight to the beach. The Maine hospitality really showed through! The house was very clean, and we could hardly think about staying anywhere else. We would recommend this house to anybody, and hope to be able to come back.
