Great host. Helped out with suggestions for hiking trails. Convenient cottage. Lovely and quiet town.

Cosy lodge with a nice terrace, the kitchen was very well equipped, we also liked the games in the living room. There was a tube feeder for birds in front of the terrace, the landlord provided birdseeds, so we spent some time watching the little birds. The region is beautiful with nice beaches and a lovely botanic garden nearby.
The house (two bedrooms) was relatively small but ok for a small family.

Clean, well equipped. High quality finish.
King bed mattress might consider replacement at some point.

Really comfortable, clean and well laid out cabin, spacious and furnished to a high standard with a lovely window overlooking the water. Very peaceful.

The details of the property. Even the (scenic) route description came in handy when our navigation stopped. Everything was really well thought through.

Spacious, private, beds very comfortable, well equipped kitchen.
Just a suggestion that whenever you change the settees to select firmer seating as these ones were difficult to get up from as they were low and seating very soft. Also not much back support when sitting on them. Otherwise some large firm cushions would help when sitting.

Emma was an excellent host. Clear instructions on how to get to the property, a text to tell us when it was ready for us. Loads of wee touches that made it a home from home, including the comfiest sofas in the world! Seeds to fill the bird feeder, a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and hurray for the midgie screens in the bedrooms.
A family of deer wandering through the garden at dusk one evening. Just ace.
The only tiny thing would be the lack of local shops, although those there are have loads of good stuff in them. Make sure you're prepared and that you get your bits and pieces in when you are out and about. There's both a fridge and a freezer in the lodge.

Well equipped and maintained lodge. Amazing views from sitting room - glass sliding doors at front with private large decking area and uninterrupted views over the loch.
Lodges well laid out so very private.
Very clean and very comfy.
Good sized rooms.

Beautiful and tranquil location, very remote but there is a little cafe and shop within walking distance. Lodge itself was cosy and spacious for a family of 3 and easily would be for a family of 4. Beds are very comfy. Livingroom opens out to lovely balcony/veranda with gorgeous views. Woke up in the morning only to spot a real life bambi bymy window! Lovely 🥰
Only thing missing for me was a couple of tea bags and coffee satchets with sugar. Most places including self catering come with a little tea and coffee station. We brought minium groceries for our weekend trip, but it was quite annoying not being able to have a cup of tea when arriving after a long drive. But that was my only gripe.

Lovely garden with very active bird population round the feeder. A roe deer came in the garden one morning which was great. The lodge had every convenience provided and most seemed to be of very recent purchase and in excellent condition. Lovely quiet location with views over Loch Ewe and Aultbea.
The knives could have been sharper or a knife sharpener provided but that is just me - I like sharp knives for cooking!

Beautifully kept and maintained spotless property. Had everything we needed for our stay.
Fresh eggs were available and so much information about the local and surrounding area

Loved the spaciousness and the ever changing views of Loch Ewe from the lodge. It is well equipped and spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. It is a great location for exploring the Loch Ewe Convoy trail and spending time on beautiful beaches. It is also close to Inverewe Gardens which are stunning. Enjoyed feeding and watching a great selection of birds at the feeder and hearing the cuckoo. Nice to have a cafe close by as well. Brilliant place with friendly, helpful owner.

Superb location for touring the north west of Scotland. Really friendly lady who looked after us. Excellent lodge, like a proper home, with a full range of facilities. Parking outside the front door. Generous space and landscaping around the lodge.

The Lodge was situated in a lovely position and the view from the large picture window was beautiful. The sunsets were stunning. The property was very comfortable and had everything needed and more. It was spotless, warm and the bed was really comfy. Emma, the owner, was really nice and helpful and brought us some great free range eggs. We hope to go back soon and would definitely recommend Aultbea Lodges.

Location was perfect for the remaining part of our NC500 tour.
Weather was also perfect, so we saw all the things we wanted to see (in the sun!), but staying in for a "rest" was very comfortable.
Lodge had everything to enjoy our time!
Not a thing! Everything was excellent!
