Perfect stay in Antigua

This property was beautiful on the inside! Cute and quaint and our bathroom was huge. The hosts were kind and helpful and breakfast was delicious!

Warmest welcome to Antigua.

Our hosts Harvey and Diane couldn't have been more accommodating, with good advice about Antigua and Lake Atitlan, even recommending the best artisanal beers. We had an early departure outside of breakfast hours but they got up earlier to make it, which says it all. We highly recommend Casa Elena if you are staying in Antigua.

Séjour parfait! :)

Tout était parfait! :) Notre chambre aur 2 étages était spacieuse. Elle donne accès directement sur la terrasse pour admirer les volcans. Les hôtes sont incroyablement gentils. Les petits déjeuners sont différents tous les matins. Ils sont très copieux et délicieux. C'est seulement 15 minutes à pied du centre-ville mais ça vaut la peine de marcher pour rester là-bas. C'est un bel havre de paix et sécuritaire d'y marcher le soir. Il est possible se faire faire son lavage pour seulement 40Q.

We had a great time in Guate. Appreciated all the suggestions of places to eat-very helpful!

Liked the breakfasts-we're just not big breakfast eaters.

Our room was sort of in the middle of the house and we would've liked it with a bit more privacy-but this wasn't a big concern. Room was comfortable and beautiful.

Quiet, comfy rooms, great breakfast, lovely hosts.

This beautiful bed and breakfast is tucked away from the main city center, so it’s quiet & peaceful, yet still easy to access all the happenings. The terrace is gorgeous with views of the volcanoes, breakfast was delicious, and Harvey & Elena were wonderful hosts. They gave great restaurant recs around town!! This was a lovely place to end our time in Guatemala.

Soggiorno perfetto a La Antigua

La camera molto bella e accogliente. Acqua calda sempre disponibile. La colazione buonissima e molto abbondante, tutto preparato al momento da Harvey e Diane. Terrazza condivisa con vista panoramica sui vulcani, dove potersi rilassare leggendo un libro, chiacchierando o semplicemente ammirare il panorama. Acqua filtrata disponibile per gli ospiti nell'area colazione.

A bit distant from old town center. Did not mind the walk during daylight, Maybe an issue if on foot getting back after nightfall. Then Uber’s the best option…

You must stay here!

I can’t recommend this accomodation more highly! Harvey and Diane were very friendly, gave us great recommendations and made us a yummy breakfast everyday (accomodating for gluten free allergies) for the 5 nights we stayed here. We were sad the leave! Our room was really nice. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The place has both a shared downstairs court yard/garden and little terrace upstairs, with a view of the volcano! It was clean and Anna the lovely house keeper can do your laundry for a small fee. The location was great, just outside of the main hustle and bustle. But only a short walk to restaurants, shops and the main square. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks H and D ❤️

Highly recommended for a perfect stay in Antigua

This place is amazing! It has everything you need for a perfect stay in Antigua. Its close to the centre, cerro de la Cruz and many restaurants. The room is clean and the breakfast is outstanding. The hosts are really friendly and willing to help with all your inquiries.

Superb

Harvey and Diane are such a lovely couple, that have great tips, are always up for a chat and love what they are doing. The breakfast was fabulous even though I needed it without gluten and meat, but Harvey was up for the challenge 😉. The terrace is also great and you can see Fuego. We loved our stay and would highly recommend Casa Elena.

The only tiny thing is that the rooms are quiet dark but apart from that everything was perfect!

Personal warm welcome from two seasoned travelers with plenty of tips and insights

Harvey and Diane are the perfect hosts, friendly, helpful, witty and full of great tips. The breakfast was very nice and freshly made every morning. The location is perfect if you like to be close to the center, but not in the busy part of town.

Wonderful and quiet area of the city, much better than staying in the centre which is just a few minutes away, nice walking distance. The hosts are perfect and very nice guys, they do it with passion and caring. Big super clean rooms, beautiful little patio, fantastic breakfasts. Everything is perfect, the way it should always be.

Room was super clean, the bathroom very clean and Big. Harvey and Diana are the Best anfitrions, they make you feel in your second home and are always ready to help you in everything you need. Breakfast are great and delicius, excellent coffe. I highly recomend this place ( great location) which is close to all amenities in antigua.

Great stay in Antigua

Thank you Diane & Harvey for the warm welcome ! We instantly felt at home ; the place is very beautiful (special mention to the rooftop with a view on El Fuego!) and the rooms are clean and well furnished. It is 10min by walk from Antigua’s arch, which was perfect for us to escape the city noises. Harvey and Diane took the time to give us their tips, and prepared an amazing breakfast for us each day.

Great boutique hotel with wonderful hosts

Harvey and Diane are amazing hosts! Kind, funny, Harvey makes amazing creative dishes for breakfast. The property is beautifully decorated, the rooms beautiful. Location is very good, quiet, 15 minutes walking distance to Antigua, 5 minutes with uber or Tuktuk.

we had a room where the bed was on a second floor gallery. for us specifically it wasn’t the best option, so just be aware of the options when choose your room

Loved our stay, felt at home

We loved our stay here! You can really feel that the owners love what they do. They gave a lot of usefull tips. And the breakfast... probably the best we ever had on a trip. The room is spacious and the roof terrace is perfect to chill at. The location is very convenient to; in a safe bit more quite area but only a few blocks away from the centre. Would 100% recommend!

Absolutely amazing stay at Casa Elena!!

Wow! We had such a wonderful time staying at Casa Elena. The owners are truly wonderful: so kind and they gave us the greatest tips on restaurants and things to do around Antigua!! And then the breakfast… out of this world. SO good, fresh fruit with granola and yoghurt and fresh bread and cakes from the bakery everyday, and then they make a warm meal that is different every day. We had a breakfast burrito, shakshuka and a delicious quiche! The walk to town is about 10 min, and felt very safe. The rooftop terrace is amazing, lots of plants and greenery and you see the Fuego erupting from there! The room is very spacious, we had 2 floors. The bathroom was great, lots of space next to the sink to put your toilletries. The shower was perfect, good water pressure and enough warm water! The bed was very comfortable. We rebooked another night for the end of our stay because we loved it so much! Thank you Harvey and Diane for the great care.

There was s dog next door that cried sometimes, which, as an animal lover, was very sad to hear. but nothing Casa Elena could do anything about.

This is probably the best place you can stay in Antigua. Harvey and Diane are great hosts! They provide you with lots of information about the city, make you breakfast that you will love and have many funny and interesing stories to tell. Our room had beautiful interior with many nice guatemalan inspired details, it was very clean and even had straight access to the roof terrace. I highly recommend this place
