Gute Lage, sauber aber kalt

Schöne Lage. Alles fußläufig zu erreichen.

Die Klimaanlage hat sich immer in der Nacht auf 17 Grad geschaltet, egal was wir vorher eingestellt haben. Die Nächte waren entsprechend bitterkalt.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay with access to great sightseeing.

The breakfast was excellent. The location was great, five minutes from the beach as well as the old town. The food at the restaurant below was excellent ate there twice during our stay. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful and you got 10% discount if staying at the villa

Nothing that we didn't like, however a selection of tea, coffee and milk would have been desirable in the room. However this didn't detract from our overall stay.

Cute room in center

Walkable to the palace and the beach. Nice clean place. Breakfast is included and was good. Beds were comfortable though they are two singles pushed together and tended to slide apart.

Though not part of the villa, the restaurant below, other than the free breakfast, is avoidable. Not that good food wise, unnatentive staff.

Good value stay close enough to the main tourist area.

Room was well thought out given that it is in an old building. Everything was comfortable. Every effort was given to provide a good breakfast but it did get a bit busy at times.

There was a bit of misunderstanding in arranging to pick up the keys. Clearly our host doesn't live at the property so needs some time to get there, while we wait.

Need parking card for free parking

Good interior property with clean room. The host was kind to show how to run hot plate. Breakfast was very good. Great location close to old town.

Best sequence with car is (1) drive into the narrow path between "Apartments Antonio" and "Pekara Babić", (2) unload carrage bag after parking near dead-end of path temperarily (3) go to property to get key and parking card from host, (4) go to "Parkiralište Bijankinijeva" for parking.

A short stay in the early spring

Staff was super nice. Breakfast was fine, except that the coffee machine was broken (we got some Turkish coffee, but it's not so good). Location near the old town is good.

In the beginning of April the room was a bit cold and wind made noise on the windows during the first night and the fridge during the second night. My back didn't like the bed, but the problem may be my back and not the bed.

Would totally recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Split!

Amazing communication! Our host showed us everything personally and helped us check in. Super friendly! Communication is easy via WhatsApp, parking is very close to the Villa and safely protected by camera. Breakfast was cooked fresh and the coffee was delicious. It is just a short 10ish minute walk to the city but there are several restaurants and a super market in close proximity.

The room is a little dark with only a small window, but set in a historic house so that is to be expected. It was a little noisy in the morning.

Incredible customer support! The wifi wasn’t working on our arrival., but was promptly addressed

The owner was waiting for us to assist with the check in. Very concerned with our comfort

There are 3 flights of stairs which moght be a problem for some. Sturdy hand rails all the way

Excellent choice in a beautiful city!

Very helpful and friendly hosts, excellent location with easy access to central old city, wow, such beauty! Parking was well organized, just a couple hundred meters away but very safe (the location is only accessible on foot). I missed the response from the hotel with coordinates, so took a little time to find the place - entirely my own fault but good to keep in mind if you arrive by car. Room very nicely appointed and absolutely sufficient, good wifi, great breakfast and helpful info provided. Highly recommended!

Very good

The location was great only 5-10 minutes walk to the old town. Breakfast was superb with lots to choose from. Room was very clean and all as described.

Great room and location. Ability to contact staff was spotty, parking was an unpleasant experience.

Room was nice. Great bathroom. Overall very clean. Location was good. Dinner at the restaurant was great but complimentary breakfast was "fair". Upon arrival refreshments were left outside the front door as a nice touch, however, bottles were presented empty or near empty and never refilled throughout our stay.

Parking was blocks away with hills and parking spot was very tight and difficult to maneuver - owner's home who provides this spot to Villa Des became upset with the owner of our car when we had mechanical problems delaying our departure by about an hour.

Nice stay close to the centre, good breakfast, carpark very close.

Good, location 5 min walk from the centre. Breakfast in the bar downstairs was very good. Room was not to big but fine, shower was fine and beds where good.

Beautiful styled room - wish I could of stayed longer !

The rooms are very cute and the staff were incredibly friendly. Very clean and spacious. Could of easily stayed much longer.

This is a hidden gem in the bustle of Split. It’s in a quiet pedestrian street, perfect location

Breakfast was served in the bar downstairs, given a voucher to use, amazing friendly staff, good choice of cooked breakfast, hot and cold options. Great cappuccino

Fantastic Guesthouse!

Wonderful stay here and could not have asked for a better room. Room was immaculate with great facilities, breakfast was super and staff were just brilliant too. Thanks for making my trip to Split that bit more special. Hopefully will return one day.

Absolute recommendation for Split!

I can only tell good. The host was very friendly and helpful. The welcome was very warm and open minded. Breakfast is served in a small Konoba/Restaurant in the basement. Very good choice of fresh bread, cheese, meat, local specialties, pancakes and even omlet and eggs on request. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Looovely staff aswell. Short and easy 5-10 minutes walking distance from the Rivera/old town. We will absolutely recommend this place to everyone coming to split!!! 10 out of 10! Thanks for everything!

Is with great pleasure that I give the highest rating to Villa Desideria. The facility is located in a quiet district, close to the important attractions of Split (a quiet walk along Radunice street), clean, everything you need in the room. And the host (Zeljka, thank you) extremely helpful. One more word about breakfast, well, breakfast is on the lowest floor of the facility. Very good breakfast. And the hosts are very friendly and helpful at breakfast (Boris & c.o. thank you)
