Really enjoyed our stay at this Cape May property - location was perfect and so were the accommodations. Hosts are wonderful. Will book again for next year.

This offers a wonderful location for easy access to the beach, the promenade, shops, restaurants, coffee shops, the Cape May light house and a gem of a museum- The Harriet Tubman museum! We enjoyed lovely walks daily too.
Thank you.

Inconvenient layout; no counter or lighted mirror in bathroom; very dirty front porch; ants in front bedroom; lack of information about dealing with trash; hard to operate many of the blinds.

Nice 1st floor 2 bedroom unit close to everything. Full kitchen, laundry, outdoor hot water shower, 4 beach passes.
Street parking is not bad even on weekends in hot season.
Very good experience overall.

We had a great stay here. The location is the best! Just a few minutes walking from the beach and from the Washington street with all the restaurants and shops. The house itself is very clean and has everything for a beach vacation. The communication with the property manager was nice and easy! After we came home we realised that we forgot a ton of staff at the rental, and the owner was so nice that he mailed everything to us!! I really appreciated it, it tells you that the owners really care about their guests and will do their best to ensure that the guests are having a nice stay! Some people complained about the parking, but we never had an issue finding one, just follow the parking recommendations on the listing. If I ever come back to Cape May, I will definitely book this property again!

What a fantastic find, just a few minutes form the beach with an amazing kitchen and plenty of space! Absolutely loved this house, already planning our return trip!

The apartment was very clean and equipped with everything you need, except for pillow cases and sheets, so don't forget these. It is located in a very nice residential area, walking/biking distance to the beach, restaurants and cafés. We enjoyed seating on a nice porch in the evenings. Overall a great place in West Cape May neighborhood with its local vibes!

The location was great. There was an odor throughout the unit that smelled like cat & there were cobwebs in both bedrooms. The family staying upstairs were incredibly loud-you could hear every footstep. It was reasonable priced, but overall not a comfortable stay.

This place was adequate for a three night off season stay, but I wouldn't want to stay there longer in season. It sits on a block of Windsor Street that is "Parking by Permit Only" with no loading zones available. Nearby blocks of Windsor and Congress streets have extremely limited or metered parking as well.
While the owner invested significant money on the kitchen, the rest of the furniture (excluding the TV) look like they came from garage sales. You have to pass through the kitchen and laundry room to get to the one bathroom. While the bathroom was adequate, I would not recommend it for larger people.
The value for the price of this place is poor. When I compare the price of a beachfront Summer Station two bedroom rental that includes linens, housekeeping, parking, and new furniture to the final VRBO price (including fees and cleaning), this place is a MUCH poorer value. We didn't stay at Summer Station because this was a last minute visit and they had no vacancy.
There were some other issues, but I will communicate them to the owner directly as they are hopefully fixable before you choose to rent here.

The location of the unit in Cape May is lovely and the owners are friendly. The check-in and out was easy.
We were traveling with a toddler and had some difficulties with the space that I share not to complain but to improve your idea of the space (particularly if you are a family with kiddos):
- only one of the two bedrooms has a traditional door; the green room has a French door with shades
- French doors also separate this unit/portion of the house from the rest of the house
- it can get noisy when the family upstairs is home, which made it nearly impossible for us to get our babe down for a nap or bed
- bedrooms are on the small side and we had trouble finding a place for the portable crib

Property was better than expected. Impeccably clean. Lots of supplies such as paper towels, hand, dish and laundry soap.
Nick, the owner, was readily available for any issues. The door code was initially tricky but eventually it worked like a charm. Bed was very comfortable, storage for clothes for more than one person would not be great as bedroom furniture was quite old. Bathroom was modern but on the smaller side. Great location, 3 blocks from beach.

This is a clean, old fashioned apartment on a charming street in Cape May. It is perfect for a small family or girls weekend. It is an easy walk to the beach and downtown. The owner was responsive and easy to communicate with. It is on the street only parking, which may be a concern during peak summer season. This was not an issue in September. The outside area could benefit from a good clean up. Overall, this was a pleasant stay in a historical Cape May home!

We loved our stay here-the owners and property are wonderful and so is the location. Will definitely stay here again.

When we arrived there were piles of sand on the kitchen table and chairs, dust piles in the corner of the kitchen, the place had not been vacuumed and the bathroom had not been wiped down (the shower had clumps of hair and spilled products) and the toilet had not been cleaned. I understand some sand since it's the beach but clearly nothing had been cleaned except the trash was taken out. There was also a moldy/mildew smell in the entrance/ kitchen area. The apartment gave my husband allergies which got better each day soon after getting outside.
There is a curtained door to a shared hallway. It felt a little odd (not very private) but we got used to it and it didn't end up being a big deal. The screened porch is shared. More pictures of the unit and a longer description on the listing would be helpful. Sheets are not provided which i read in a review but did not see in the description.
Parking was a bit stressful. Most of the spaces near the unit are reserved for residents. Sometimes we got a space on the same street, sometimes my husband had to drive around in circles looking for a spot. It ended up working out but wasn't ideal.
Overall the unit worked fine for us but we would not rent here again.

Place is clean and has all you need, except for linen and towels, so bring your own. Location is excellent within walking distance to everything. Beds were comfortable and outdoor showers were a blessing.
Kitchen table is shabby and really needs to be replaced as the top is peeling off and you can’t clean it well. Old furniture was repainted which looks cute but should have done better job on that. Also place could look much better with some beach-themed wall art. Walls are just naked.
Overall great, just way overpriced.

A prior post mentioned being woken up around 6:30 AM to the sound of the owners children. This is absolutely the case and if that doesn't bother you, maybe these other points might make you reconsider renting this property. There is no parking. The street is permit only and there isn't any on the adjoining streets until after the weekend. Loading and unloading is a challenge. The property has the owners' personal possessions strewn about, and the porch is shared, again with various things sitting around. Inside, you will find the furniture to be very outdated, some antique, with not much room for clothes and only one hanging clothes rack. There were ant traps in the living room and kitchen. While we didn't see any in the kitchen, we had them crawling on us when watching TV. The outside shower is nice and we used it almost exclusively because the inside shower is small. A huge plus is a washer and dryer which I don't recall seeing in the listed amenities. Thankfully we had good weather so we spent much of our time either at the beach, on the mall, or elsewhere. It's okay for a small family, and I mean that both in number and stature, but hope for good weather. We ended up leaving a day early.

Great location
Great for walking to beach. There aren’t linens or towels but there are several beach chairs. You share the porch with upstairs neighbors. Kitchen is updated. The one bathroom is small. Furniture is old in bedrooms.

Location, location, location!
Had a wonderful time with a small group this past Memorial Day weekend! The location of this rental is perfect (short walk to the beach and shopping district). This is a huge plus given that the street parking can be tricky — we didn’t have to move our car once!
The unit was basically as described and shown in the pictures (probably could use a few more pics on the posting highlighting the best features of the apartment). The living room was right off a hallway to the upstairs apartment — wouldn’t have been an issue if the French doors to the hallway didn’t have a huge gap at the bottom of it and between the French doors.
Outdoor porch area was very nice — definitely some bed and breakfast vibes — you’ll be sharing with those renting/staying upstairs.
The mattresses on the two beds were comfortable, although sleepers be warned…this is an older house with thin thin walls. We were woken up every morning super early by stomping upstairs. Earplugs could do the trick!
All in all — great spot for small groups that are looking for a central location close to the beach but are willing to sacrifice several hours of sleep in the morning.

Great place to stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Cape May condo. The location was perfect to participate in the activities of the Cape May Bird Festival. The venues for the walks, talks, and dinners were just minutes away. The condo itself is very comfortably furnished. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped. We will definitely stay at this property again, if available.

Great Location
My family enjoyed staying here. We were close to the beach and to the Washington Ave shops. The updated look of the house was nice (It didn’t feel cluttered ), and it was clean. The outdoor shower was great! (Probably the nicest one I’ve ever seen at the shore. We mostly used that during the week. It was just easier to get the kids in there after the beach.)! I saw some reviews saying there was no place to hang clothes or put suitcases. That has since changed. There were tables for bags and a clothing rack in the blue room with a queen bed. The house does has some quirks since it’s old, but that’s definitely part of its charm. I would recommend this place for a young/small family.

End of summer vacation
Didn’t expect to find a terrific rental near the beach and town mall this late on the season. The price very good, location excellent, actual rental terrific. Rarely does everything fall together so well. Thank you

Second time guests
Nick is a fantastic property owner and is easy to get ahold of. He was quick to respond to booking requests and when we had issues making our reservation, he was patient and had VRBO correct the issue in a timely manner. We’ve stayed at this rental for two summers now, and we’ll likely be back next summer! A few blocks to the beach and on a residential side street. Lovely screened in front porch (shared with upper unit) The only downside is that there’s no driveway, so arriving late at night can be tricky to find parking close by. Thanks for another great stay, Nick!

Great for a small family
Very quaint and nicely updated. Perfect location for us as it’s just a nice 3 block walk to the beach, as well as to Washington Street shops. The only issue is that it is a first floor apartment with other renters on the 2nd floor and 1880 houses aren’t so sound proof. If you are easily disturbed while sleeping, this is not for you. Also there is shared space on porch and in back, I’m fine with that but if you like your “own” outdoor space this is also not for you.

Location is good. Smaller than it looks. NO closet or dressers or space to open suitcases (bedrooms super tight)Ants in kitchen, nats coming out of bathroom drain, broken lightbulb in bathroom and broken door handle. Did not appear to have been cleaned AT ALL before we arrived (trash in bins and sand on floors). This was quite surprising during COVID!

Perfect rental for a small family or couple
We loved staying here! Owner was easy to get ahold of and responsive to needs. We used the back entrance, as it was easier for us than the front (shared) entrance. Short walk/bike ride to the beach or shopping areas. Parking was a bit of an issue if we arrived late in the evening, as there is no off street parking. We biked most of the week to avoid losing our prime spot out front. Clean, comfortable beds, nicely redone kitchen. Bathroom is small but functional. We would recommend this rental to friends and will likely stay again!

Cape May vacation
We had a wonderful stay in this house with all its Cape May charm . The location was great & we could ride our bikes down town or explore the neighborhood. We especially enjoyed the screened porch, modern kitchen & of course the outside shower. Definitely planning on coming again next year.
