The room was very comfortable and the bed was comfortable.
Dinner on Monday night was cancelled because the restauarnt was closed. No prior notice given. I din't like that the room faced the car park when most of the rooms facing the golf links were clearly unoccupied. The buffet breakfast was removed and a la carte provided instead. All the food I ordered came at the same time and was cold by the time I got to it.

Rooms were generously-sized and the hotel was close to the main township
Rooms are pretty dated. Upon checking-out I was also advised another unrelated guest had tried to allocate charges to my room and I really had to insist again and again the charges weren’t mine to ensure I wasn’t made to pay for them. The receptionist apologised for the mistake; however, i did not appreciate her insisting the charges were mine when they definitely weren’t

Comfortable. Good shower
Coffee table had large greasy sticky spot on it on arrival and had to call housekeeping to clean it. Mirror next to wardrobe was very dusty and part of the drain cover in the bathroom was missing.

Lovely and clean bed was so comfortable
A little bit far out of town

Beautiful property snd great location. Great decor and it’s nice and modern.
The fact that there were no dining options on Sunday night, not even room service. Other than the bedroom there were no options to relax. We go to the Southern Highlands during winter to enjoy a fireplace. We really enjoyed dinner on Saturday night and loved the bar with the fireplace. The town was dead on Sunday night with no dining options. The duvet on one of the beds in our bedroom had blood stains on!

This hotel is a definition of perfection. Start with extremely attentive staff, and super fast check-in / out to spacious very modern and clean rooms. The hotel is large but due to its green surroundings, you feel extremely relaxed and private. Even the corridors are like an oasis of calmness, smelling with aromatic oils, deemed lights and gentle music. The indoor pool was clean and heated to perfection. Plenty of car park, easy access to shops. I highly recommend their restaurant. The dinner there was spectacular. My room was large and comfortable. Very comfy oversised beds and clouds not pillows, modern spacious bathroom with all amenities needed.
To be honest I couldn't fault anything. I would only suggest a wider range at breakfast (maybe some pancakes?) and a better coffee.

This was a perfect stopover on our road trip. From the friendly staff to the beautiful king size bed overlooking the golf courses and delicious dinner at the restaurant. The venue was spotless and the pool was a nice ending to our day feeling hot and tired on arrival.

Always a home away from home - first time back since the new owner took over and with a few changes here and there, the same quality service we've come to expect is still present. Friendly and attentive staff make the stay all the more enjoyable.

Large room, good location with onsite bar and dining options. On golf course.
The very noisy guests who woke us up at 2:30am shouting and banging in the hallway and room. We flagged the potential problem with these guests when we checked in and were told to ring reception if we had a problem during the night. Not much help when you’ve already been disturbed from sleep at in the early hours. We were not about to change rooms at 2:30am. Could have stayed somewhere much cheaper and had a better night sleep.

The beds were super comfy, and rooms / bathrooms were very spacious.
Would've liked a later checkout (e.g. 11am or 12pm), without having to pay extra. Also would've liked more lifts along the corridors of level 2, so you don't have to walk so far after getting out of the lift (if your room is at the end of the building, like ours was).
Also, would be good to have the ABC Channel on the TVs.
Our access card didn't work when we came back to the room after being away for a while. So would be good to have working / more reliable access cards.

The waitress at dinner was lovely. The meals at the restaurant, although small, were ok. That's about the only good points
The room was too hot overnight. None of the group got a decent sleep, and there were no in room controls. Only 2 windows opened.
The TV in one room randomly turned on all night. Happened about 12 times between 11pm and 5am. That person got next to no sleep.
When told of our dissatisfaction, the front desk agent was rude and condescending.
The foyer was overly hazed in incense and was very overwhelming.
I would not recommend staying here.

The surrounding area was nice. The room was a good size.
There was mould on mould on the floor, around the shower area and drain grills. I don’t think they have heard of bleach. The power points and USB points at the bedside didn’t work. The bedside lights were plugged in through a hole in the wall behind the bed. There was no information book in the room about the surrounding area and things to see. Or essential numbers like pharmacy, doctor, nearest restaurants in town etc.
The restaurant at the place was adequate at best certainly nothing special.

Nothing, everything was perfect!

The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean and relaxing. The staff at the bar and restaurant were friendly. The food was nice.
We would have loved a coffee pod machine- pretty standard these days. We were told that if we wanted coffee we had to go to order it from the breakfast buffet., which kind of defeats the purpose of having an early morning coffee in your room...
The TV in our room randomly kept turning on at night time with a massive bright light to wake us. This happened about 6 times, then we pulled the plug out of the wall. I mentioned it to the front desk, but it just did it again the second night.
The gym was fairly soulless, so we went for a walk in the beautiful surroundings instead. All in all, I think it needs a bit of love since we last visited under the "Gibraltar" name.

The location was good and the view was pleasant.
The bathroom tap leaked so that it spilled onto the floor. There was a risk of slipping. When I reported it, the person at the desk didn't seem particularly concerned.
There are very few staff about and the place seems deserted.
I hadn't wanted a room with two beds, but that is what we got.
Parking was some distance from the entrance, which was OK, except that there were steps to negotiate with suitcases to get from parking to the entrance.
There was only one lift in the whole building.

The view of the carpark from balcony was a little disappointing.

Comfortable bed, easy location
No barista available for proper coffee. Room service didn’t do our room till very late afternoon which meant two times we went back to our room before it was done

Room was lovely. Decor was cool. Staff were very helpful. Cleanliness was high. Grounds were beautifully gardened and maintained.
AIr con in our room was not working so it was very stuffy in the room. As it was very cold outside, it meant that as we had to leave the door open to the balcony to reduce the stuffiness, near the door was then freezing.
