StableLodge Kimberly Stay

Location was good but one misses the turn at night. Better have neon lights that embed the name as the streets are dark. I like the idea of being called to confirm arrival time on the day.

Dustbin with no lid was not good and a health risk. There were instances of cockroaches. Regular fumigation is necessary.

What an exceptional experience

They had those energy save lights for the loadshedding hours and a gas stove so we could cook. Everything was clean and ready for us when we got there. I loved it here. The hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We will definitely come back

Excellent location, clean, comfortable and friendly reception.

We did not have any breakfast from the place. The location was excellent. Not too far from the N12. I liked the self check in option because we arrived after the stipulated time. They also addressed my request about chec in promptly. Check out was also easy because we left at 5am. We left the keys on the door and drove out. Suited us well as we were pressed for time. The beds were comfortable. I felt well rested and ready to continue my trip to CT. The rooms were clean. Bedding and towels very clean. My family was happy with the place.

We almost missed the place as there were no signs indicating the place. We drove past and had to go back slowly. Perhaps put up signs on the road from N12 direction that will be visible at night. My 1 daughter said her bed was too hard. She missed the feeling of sinking in the bed esp after a long drive.

This accommodation looks better on pictures than real life.

Staff was friendly and helpful

Our accommodation had a terrible smell like open drains. No backup power during loadshedding.

Convenience of checking in after hours

I forgot to lock the back of the bakkie and some of my really expensive clothing got stolen during the night. Nothing could be done about it really and it just made the whole experience very unpleasant and left a very bad taste in my mouth.
