Gemischte Erfahrung.

Super-Lage, gemütliche Ausstattung, reichhaltig. Nahe an großem Parkplatz, direkt im Hafen.

Ausblick zum Hafen durch Abdeckung für Generalüberholung verdeckt, Bauarbeiter schauen direkt in die Zimmer, ab und zu ohrenbetäubender Bohrlärm. Alles ohne Vorwarnung und Preisnachlass.

La ubicación excelente, la calidez de Ana Julia, atenta y pendiente de que nuestra estadía sea perfecta! El departamento muy bien equipado, con la vista más linda del puerto!!sin duda lo recomendaría 100 x 100!!

Great flat in a great place

Really well-equipped flat in great location. Paolo gave us some great tips on places to go and some superb local restaurants. And the aircon was a lifesaver!

Air conditioning was great in the living room but could do with it in the bedroom. This would not stop me recommending the property.

Disappointing stay

Nice apt that has most of what you need. Good location. We were met by Paolo who gave us a lot of good tips about the neighbourhood and what to see in Genova.

There were construction work on the facade of the building and it was not possible to use the balcony. The balcony with the view of the harbour was my main reason to book this place. Instead, all the noise and the dirt led us to be out of the apt all day and we may as well have booked a cheap room to just sleep in since we were out anyway. I understand that the building needs work, but what I don't understand is that I wasn't told about this beforehand. I booked early so I hadn't read the latest reviews. The owner had months to inform me, but didn't. I would have booked a different place had I known.

Good

The host Anna was very friendly and helpful and met us on arrival. She gave us lots of useful information for our stay. The position of the flat was great on the harbour and close to the old city. There was a supermarket very near and lots of bars and restaurants. Under normal circumstances this would be a great place to stay and I would have given a much higher rating.

The building was undergoing renovation, we were given the chance to cancel but didn't realise the extent of the impact of the works being done on the accommodation. There was scaffolding outside the building with builders walking past the windows so that the blinds/curtains had to be closed for privacy. The balcony was unusable and closed off with debris frequently falling onto it. We were woken in the morning by the noise from the builders. This work will be ongoing until August.

Great apartment for a short stay

Highly recommended. We had booked for two nights enroute to Cinque Terre. Anna got in touch well before the arrival date to alert us about some repairs on the building. She was very courteous and even offered to cancel which we did not do and best decision I made. Anna met us just outside the apartment and was sweet enough to show us around. Best location in Genoa surrounded by breakfast cases, restaurants and the touristy spots. Only 15 mins from the airport (25USD cab ride). We did not use any parking. 10 mins walk from the main station to catch the train all over Italy. All the tourist spots are within short walking distances. Apartment was fine - we were three of us and the extra sofa bed was large enough. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Its not a new apartment but clean and very functional. Good water pressure on the showers. Overall highly recommended.

Exceptional

From start to finish the experience was amazing. Anna was a superb host, and her apartment was the most adorable, yet comfortable place. Its location is great for touring Genova. I would highly reccomend staying at Sull'Acqua del Porto and will be returning there whenever I am back in Genova.

Fantastic location and lovely host.

Can't sleep in past 6am. The baby elephant that lives on top of this apartment stomps around very loudly EVERY morning at 6am and wakes you up!

Cosy and stylish apartment in a perfect location

Beautiful little apartment in a perfect location with a fabulous view of the port from the balcony. Taxi was €25 was the airport and took less than 15 mins to arrive. The decor was very stylish and cosy and the hosts were fantastic (especially helping us with a mishap on arrival). Would 100% stay here again if we come back to Genoa.

Only a tiny criticism but there was no ironing board and the bathroom and shower could do with updating. Other than its it was perfect for us.

Nice and equipped apartment in Porto Antico

It is fully equipped, spotless clean, well located and spacious. the view from the windows is amazing.

the surroundings near Dársena (metro station) are not the most charming. It gives you the feeling it is not very safe to be around at night. would not recommend this location to a woman traveling alone

Amazing view and perfect location

The host was very nice and kind. She helped us with some recommendations (places, restaurants). The location was amazing near Aquarium and also near metro station. Also, we had an amazing view from balcony.

We had a little issue with the boiler, but the host solved next day.

Great location, excellent view, awesome apartment.

Nice little 1-bedroom apartment right on the Genoa port, about 20 minutes away from the airport. Bus stop is nearby (it takes you to the main station), town center is reachable by foot. Our host was awesome. She explained everything about the apartment and the different places to visit in Genoa. We loved the fully furnished kitchen and the cute little balcony.

Bed mattress is a bit too soft for my liking, but still usable. Bathroom fan is too loud.

Cosy place with amazing location and view + super nice and helpfull host!

Everything was perfect! The place was even better than in the pictures, super cosy and nicely decorated and the view from the balcony was amazing. Everything was also really clean. The host was super sweet and gave very helpfull tips for Genova sightseeing and places to eat. She even shows everything on the map. I would recomment this to everyone, I was traveling alone but this would also be perfect for couples or with friends. Book this place for your stay in Genova you won’t regret it!
