The staff is very attentive. We needed solar lights in our room, and they made sure to provide that.
I also loved the fact that the guest house takes good care of their employees because they called us to ask if it was okay for them to give their cleaning staff a day off.
The facility is relaxing, peaceful, and private.
Well planned back up for loadshedding.
The aesthetic of the place is really cool, I love it!

I travel to Piet Retief once a month for work and Bel Air is the ideal place to stay. The staff is friendly and make you feel very comfortable. The facilities are clean and breakfast is great.

Close to the shops
Bedding had stains, the place needs fumigation (cockroaches everywhere), I do not want to talk about shower. We are not sure what was going on there ( it's either you shower with cold water or burn yourself) the moment you open cold water to mix, then everything becomes cold.

Very convenient location and the room was clean.
Unfortunately the trucks drive past but I had a back room so it wasn't too bad

It is conveniently situated on our way to Kruger. The host allocated a room on request further away from the road to minimise noise. It was easy to find. The parking is secure. Soap and shampoo was provided as well as coffee.
The mattress on the main bed in unit 9 sagged and was very uncomfortable, it really needs replacing. The bedside light didn't work, which made reading very difficult and the roof fan made an awful noise, unfortunately it was extremely hot and switching it off was not an option, however sleeping with the noise was very difficult. Decor pebbles around the bathroom mirror was coming off and some were missing.

Central place in Piet Retief
Too close to the main road with a lot of trucks going on the whole day and night.
Some people had a party the night we slept there, nothing was done from the management to stop then until early morning. Bunch of drunked people.
Bad Bad... Not ideal for family with young kids.

Noise from truck passing 24/7
