Wonderful 6 days! Will definitely stay again.

Everything was clean and well kept. My room was very comfortable. Even though there was not AC, oscillating fans were provided and were sufficient for comfort due to the temperatures in Entebbe. Restaurant food was extremely good with a diverse selection but not your typical huge menu. Staff was wonderful and very helpful. Guesthousse ground provide more than ample locations to sit, relax, and have a drink. Location couldn't be better. 5 minute walk to the local mall with a supermarket, pharmacy, and several nice restaurant selections. The Uganda Botanical Gardens are directly across the street with immediate access ($20 for the day). The garden host an amazing number a birds, two types of monkeys, and shore access to Lake Victoria. The airport is only a five minute drive away. Unless your idea of an amazing hotel is the Marriott, I highly recommend Precious Guesthouse.

Only the showers could use improvement. The pressure was low and the hot water was limited. Having said this, there was adequate pressure to take an acceptable shower and the shower was warm.

Nice place but noise a BIG problem. Also lack of credit card for payment is extremely inconvenient.

Lovely staff, very friendly and accomodating.

Does not take credit cards for any payments! Should not be available on booking.com for this reason. Next door to a nightclub so we were kept awake until after 3:00 am. Not what we wanted at the end of a tiring journey.

I am unlikely to stay here again as using cash to pay for accomodation is not acceptable in this time with credit cards

Lovely stay in Entebbe

Precious Guesthouse offers a beautiful, green and quiet location directly opposite of Botanical Garden. It is in walking distance to Imperial Mall. The garden is well kept, the rooms and Cabanas very clean and cozy. Stuff is very helpful and breakfast delicious! Free Airport pickup was very helpful!

Super friendly and helpful staff! I ariived after 10pm, they opened a bar for me, excellent first impression. Unit is clean, resort is very nice, well maintained. It exceeded my expectations.

Taxi driver was horrible! He was speeding, not asissting me with luggage. When he dropped me at the airport, I had to wait for him to pay for the parking ticket, instead of doing that after he leaves me. He didn't even enter the parking close to terminal, just left me at the entance gate! If I don't go to Preciois House again, it will be solely because of this person. FYI, it was my 4th time visiting Entebbe, and I know where I am supposed to be dropped and assisted with luggage. For sure not the way this person did.

Beautiful property right across from the Botanical Gardens. Wonderful food and wait staff.

Breakfast was always great. The dinner menu was fantastic and the food delicious. You cannot beat their curried tilapia! The upstairs open dining area and the wait staff were our favorites.

Sometimes hard to find someone in charge at times.

Really enjoyable stay. We were picked up from the airport by staff. Amazing food - we had breakfast and an excellent dinner. Lovely surroundings. Being so close to the mall was helpful for supermarket trip and getting local currency.

Excellent location for Botanical Gardens with friendly staff and courtesy car from airport.

Our flight arrived at 11.15 but immigration was very slow (apparently normal) so we got out of the airport at 12.30ish. The Guesthouse provided a courtesy transfer car. Very, very impressed with transport and late check in. A very good breakfast on a terrace overlooking the Botanic Gardens. Precious is a few minutes walk from the entrance to the Botanic Gardens.

They couldn't change Euros and as we arrived late night we had no local currency - a minor hiccup.

Good location, helpful staff, and beautiful gardens.

Staff were extremely helpful. For example, prepared breakfast for us at 6:30am since we had an early departure. Food in the restaurant was very good. Gardens are lovely, with nice tables to sit outside and enjoy. Within walking distance of Botanical Garden and Zoo. Free pickup from airport even late at night.

Bathroom is pretty tiny.

Perfect setting!

Precious Guesthouse was an unexpected little gem! I chose it as an overnight stay when I first arrived in Entebbe, and it far exceeded my expectations! The garden was lovely, and the restaurant had wonderful view and the perfect setting for breakfast, accompanied by birdsong. Situated directly opposite the Botanical Gardens and a short walk from the Zoo, on a quiet road, it couldn't have been in a better setting! A short distance in the opposite direction, at the entrance to the road is a shopping mall with ATM and everything you might need. I had a walk through the Botanical Gardens, accompanied by a local guide, a Botany student who was really informative, telling me all about the medicinal qualities of the plants and trees. The staff were lovely, Joan even came for a walk to the Zoo with me after her shift finished, which made my trip so much more memorable. I would highly recommend a stay here!

We arrived way earlier than check-in time hoping we could possibly store our luggage somewhere already. But instead we already got our rooms early and were able to settle in. After a long ride on a night bus this was such a blessing. The location is great, just a few minutes away from the Victoria Mall and the artist markets and across from the Botanic Gardens.

There is really not anything I didn’t like. Just be aware that there is not a standardized breakfast buffet, but that you can order from a menu with your choice of eggs and juice. This needs to be ordered an hour beforehand or the night beforehand. So it gets a little complicated when you want to do a bulk order for a whole group because of all the choices 😉

Precious Guesthouse was perfect for me! Great value, good location and lovely staff.

The breakfast was huge and very satisfying. I had the English full breakfast which was included in my room rate and it was way more food than I could finish although I gave it a good try. Fruit, tea or coffee, plain omelette, toast jam and butter bacon sausage and avocado and tomato. Very good. Location was perfect for me as I went to UWEC which is the nearby animal park. Which I also highly recommend.

I don’t know that anything could have been better.

An excellent place to start your visit to beautiful Uganda!

Very good location near the airport and at a walking distance from a local shopping mall, yet it was fairly quiet at night. Guesthouse had a charming garden setting and nice ethnic architecture. Friendly and helpful service. The Botanical Garden on the shore of Lake Victoria on the other side of the street was splendid. We got extra hours in one small room because we arrived late/early in the morning at about 4.30.

Comfortable and well-positioned guesthouse with poor wi-fi

Friendly and helpful staff, complimentary airport pick-up, quiet but convenient location within walking distance to most places in Entebbe, comfortable bed and well-equipped bathroom.

The wi-fi was very poor when I was there and I was obliged to drink a lot of coffee at nearby Cafe Javas to use their free and excellent wifi. Sadly this probably means that I will not go back to Precious Guesthouse.

An impressive stay in the heart of Entebbe

This was an ideal stay! The staff happily greeted me, even though I arrived after 11pm. The room was spacious, there was a large closet, a comfortable bed with mosquito netting, and a desk. The shower was hot and strong. Breakfast, which was included in my room, was great! There were many options to choose from. The coffee was the best I had in Uganda! I also had dinner in the restaurant one night and it was delicious! (And the drinks were strong!) There was an error with my bill, which I didn't realise, and one of the employees came to my room to return the money I overpaid. I really appreciated the honesty! I also got a free transfer to the airport on my last day. The location is great for the botanical gardens, and a supermarket (Carrefour). I would definitely stay here again if I were ever in Entebbe.

Honestly, nothing! I usually don't say that as there is always room for improvement, but I had an excellent stay and can not think of anything that I would improve on!
