Die Atmosphäre hier ist ganz besonders. Das liegt an dem Hotelbetreiber Paul, ein herausragender Mensch, aber auch an dem tollen Personal, der Lage, den Zimmern...
Es hat absolut alles gefallen

Great location next to beach. Owners and staff very friendly and helpful. Included breakfasts were great. Dinners at resturant were also excellent. Drink prices reasonable. We saw parrots, Tucans, Slothes, lots of different hummingbirds and heard monkeys howlering. Beach in front of hotel was beautiful but not really swimmable because it was rough while we were there, but we took a walk to nature preserve and found a beautiful calm beach to swim.
The rooms don't have AC which wasn't too bad at night but rooms hot during day. We were there to enjoy the location and not stay in ou room so really wasn't to much inconvinveince .

Oh my goodness, let me tell you about the most amazing hotel experience we ever had - it was like paradise on steroids!
First of all, the location was killer. Right in front of the beach with waves crashing, it was so surreal and peaceful (no need for a white noise machine like I do in Brooklyn). I felt like a mermaid basking in the sun, with the ocean as my soundtrack, while the cutest baby sloths, colorful birds, and other amazing animals were doing their thing, adding to the beauty. It was like living in a Disney movie!
But let me tell you, it was the hosts (Simon and Wendy) who really stole the show. These guys were the most adorable, hilarious and attentive people I've ever met. They had us in stitches every day, cracking jokes and making sure we were having the time of our lives. I felt like I was staying with family!
The staff (that are like family to Wendy and Simon) was equally amazing - always friendly and ready to help with anything we needed. And let's not forget about the hotel's furry ambassadors, the cutest dogs ever: Jack and Lucky! They were so friendly, and I swear I sometimes spent more time petting them than sunbathing.
Honestly, I never wanted to leave this place. I could have stayed forever, sipping on spicy Margaritas, doing my morning meditation on the beach and listening to the waves. If you're looking for a fun and unforgettable getaway, I highly recommend this hotel. You won't regret it! Oh and the restaurant of the hotel is the best too, will need another review on that.
Nothing! We are just sad that we only stayed one week and wish we can come back in September which is apparently the best season because the sea is calmer.

Simon and Wendy are great hosts! They make you feel at home and truly care about your stay. The beach in front the hotel is great, almost the same as going to Red Frog, so is very convenient if you just want to chill.. Food is very tasty :)
Hotel: Breakfast could have more options, food and drinks can be pricy if you have a long stay
Location: if you are looking to relax and stay on a same place this is a great option, but if you are planning to explore Bocas then this location can be complicated. Hotel is located 30 min from downtown but the street is not in the best conditions so is a very shaky trip. Getting a taxi late at night is impossible (and expensive) so you don’t get the chance to see the night life in Bocas.
It would be good for the hotel to offer transport to the guests for a better experience in Bocas

Simon and Wendy were absolutely adorable hosts - they explained what to do and see on the island, booked excursions and taxis, and had us meet their cite dogs. The small hotel is furnished and maintained with love. The restaurant serves delicious meals and cocktails. I saw a monkey right in the garden behind. Unlimited free water was a great bonus. The hotel is run in a sustainable manner, mostly on solar power and rain water. The Bluff beach small hotels and bars are quite hype.
Based on the photos, I had not realised that the hotel is actually one buidling, with rooms on the first floor, sharing the terrace with the restaurant, and also on the ground floor, under the terrace. Our room called « suite », which was on the ground floor right under the restaurant, was quite dark, we always needed the lights on. It was also quite noisy until the end of the evening service - between 9.30 and 10.30 depending on the days. The beds are queen size.
It may be quieter during a less busy season though. The road to town for excursions, the boat to Almirante and the other islands, or the airport, is long and bumpy and taxis cost 15 dollars each way.

Simon and Wendy are amazing hosts! Both went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Their staff, food and rooms are top notch! And the view is spectacular.
Absolutely nothing.

We had a wonderful stay at the Oasis Bluff Hotel. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in front of Bluff Beach. You can hear the waves during the night which is so nice and relaxing. The staff at the hotel is very nice and always available to help you.
If you plan to do activities in Bocas town or on the other islands, the public shuttle coming to the hotel is not very reliable and we had to pay almost 40 USD per day in taxis when we planned to do activities else where.

The hosts Wendy and Simon are extremely welcoming, very accessible, warm natured, and focused on making sure their guests are happy and well cared for. This also shows in the staff the hire that are very accommodating and always display a smile. The grounds and rooms are beautiful and very tranquil away from the noise of town, yet when you want to go to town it is very easy and the staff will assist. Food is great, and the cocktails will make you smile. Highly recommend
Everything was as described and was perfectly wonderful

The stay with Wendy and Simon was incredible. They are wonderful hosts and lovely people! The restaurant attached to the resort is excellent, with a daily rotating menu, and complimentary breakfast is wonderful! Can't reccomend this location enough, Wendy kindly booked a number of activities for us, and everything was well coordianted and easy, not to mention fun days at the beach, snorkling and jungle hikes to see frogs, sloths and other animals!

The staff were unbelievably helpful and nice. I haven’t experienced such great hospitality in a long time. Everything was clean, the views were incredible, the food and cocktails are the best on the island no contest. Even the towels are high quality Lacoste towels and they even wrapped our luggage in plastic to prevent them from getting wet in the rain when our taxi took us back to the airport. I can’t recommend this place enough. Wendy and Simon are amazing hosts and truly care about their guests and making sure their needs are taken care of.
I should’ve stayed longer

Wonderful, fantastic - a very special place. Wendy and Simon, and the staff just helped us with everything - it was our first trip to Bocas and they got us well installed. They helped with taxi, ATV bookings, tour recommendations - We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the resort. It was fantastic and our stay made a lifelong lasting impression. We will come back!

Everything was exactly like you see in the pictures; even better in person. Property itself is in such a nice location and the upkeep is done properly. Wendy & Simon and their wonderful staff work really hard to make it all work seamlessly. We stayed in Waves room and and it was the best view we had in a room ever and we travel quite a lot. The breakfast was also very tasty and fresh. We also loved everything we tried from their restaurant.

it is a small and intimate hotel where you can enjoy deep tranquility. surrounded by jungle and with the beach a few steps away, it makes this place very very special for lovers of tranquility and nature.
the hotel amenities were very well thought out by the owners .

During our five days we found this the perfect place to relax far from the crowd as well as base to strike out from for hikes and tours. Amazing breakfast! In fact all meals were excellent (best-rated restaurant on the island!) and good price so we mostly ate there. Simon and Wendy and staff were all very friendly and helpful. We hope to go back someday. Our hosts went out of their way to ensure we spotted the exciting wildlife such as monkeys and sloths. Highly recommended especially if you want peaceful seclusion / prefer boutique rather than big hotels.

Amazing stay with lovely staff that really makes you feel at home. Simon cares for the little things that makes the travel amazing. The food there is delicious and very gastronomic. The views are also breathtaking

The location and the people that work in Oasis are one of the best things about the place. You are away from downtown, one of the things we were looking fro. The hotel is next to one of the best beaches of the island. Simon, Elias, Manuel and Choi are the best. Great cooking, great room....Great spot. If you go to this island, don´t think about it.
Nothing about the hotel could be better. I was worried about them not having A/C, but the orientation of the room and the fan they had in every room is more than enough. No bugs that could bother either.

how professional and helpful Simon was made the trip even so much better.
there’s nothing I didn’t like

Great location close to the beach. Really friendly and welcoming hosts, very helpful with local tips. Good food and drinks at the in-house restaurant (the homemade tonic was worth the price alone!).

The grounds were beautiful. All of the staff were kind and helpful. The food was spectacular. Everything we ate was beyond delicious. (I'm not usually one to care about food, but it's impossible to ignore how good our meals were.) Wendy and Simon are great hosts and are very thoughtful and accommodating. They seem to have all the little details worked out to make a stay complete. Also, the hike into the jungle towards the bat caves from Oasis was one of the highlights of my whole trip to Panama. My partner and I saw so many animals (take your time to look around. Don't rush. Put on bug spray. Bring extra bug spray.) The beach right across from Oasis is so clean with waves that roll like thunder and such soft sand. The road getting there was rough, and I was glad that Wendy and Simon had arranged transportation for us from the airport. The whole experience was wonderful. We couldn't have found a better place to stay. I highly recommend it.
There's no avoiding that without a/c, it's humid, sticky and buggy. The fan helps, but it took a night to adjust to. We had no problems with bugs our first night there, but the second night we encountered quite a few that had sneaked in (maybe we had the door open for too long at one point?)

The hosts, Simon and Wendy, go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need, from booking transportation and tours to comfort around the resort. The food is exceptional. We ate almost every meal at the resort and every meal was outstanding. The beach is unspoiled and gorgeous and the surrounding wildlife is stunning.
Even if it’s raining the views from the terrace make spending a day here worthwhile.
