You feel the authentic Bali.

The space is amazing in a true Bali arhitecture. Near the city centre but really quiet and you feel that you are in the jungle. The villa is in a huge garden looking to a ravine with private pool. Trully amazing!

Fantastische Balinese service en ervaring, heerlijk hier!

Dit is een van mijn favorieten, kom graag ieder jaar terug. Heerlijke plek, geweldige spa, loopafstand van de gezelligheid maar heerlijk rustig in de nacht. Fijne grote balkons met fraai uitzicht, royale badkamers en verrukkelijk ontbijt.

als je het hier niet fijn hebt is er iets mis met je...

Fantastisch!

Het personeel was echt ZO leuk en vriendelijk, vooral de mensen die telkens naar onze kamer kwamen. Het ontbijt was ontzettend lekker en het fijnst was nog wel dat ze het serveerden op ons eigen balkon, met alle vriendelijkheid, net als de afternoon tea, echt superleuk. De locatie is heerlijk rustig in het groen, weg van het toerisme in Ubud. De shuttlebus was ook een erg fijne service. Alam Shanti is gewoon een ontzettend bijzondere en fijne plek met de liefste mensen.

Helemaal niks, wij hadden een toptijd en onze kinderen ook!

昔から変わらないバリを体験できる部屋

奮発したので、奥まったところにある、とても広い部屋でした。ジャワから取り寄せた思わせるような、入口のドア周辺を飾るすばらしい木彫りや、ベッドの天蓋には、伝統的な絵が飾られ、天井の梁には、スタンプバティックの型があしらわれ、至る所にインドネシアを感じることができました。また、ちょこっと庭から摘んだお花が室内のあちこちに飾ってあり、ホッと寛げます。

近くのレストランが夜遅くまでライブミュージックをやっていてうるさい！ここ、ニュークニンのエリアは昔から田んぼが広がり、夜は田んぼからそよそよと吹く風の音、蛙の声、ゲッコーの声を静かに心行くまで味わう場所であったはずなのに、非常に残念です。

Spacious, relaxing stay

Wonderful stay nearby money forest. My room was very spacious and comfortable with beautiful outdoor bathroom. The breakfast was delivered to the room and very delicious. I would love to come back here!

Vanuit deze plek kan je heerlijk ubud verkennen

De plek was magisch. Een erg mooie tuin, een relatief rustig stuk van ubud, shuttle service naar de stad (en weer terug). Fantastisch ontbijt en apen die voorbij trekken.

Beautiful place to feel home!

Felt home there. Exceptional service, spectacular view from the terrace, nice pool and delicious breakfast. Wondering coming again!

Bathtub was granite, not comfortable to lay down.

Assurdo catalogarla come un tre stelle. Struttura molto bella e servizio impeccabile.

Grande premura del personale. Possibilità di ordinare la colazione in camera (servita in veranda) senza costi aggiuntivi. Tea time pomeridiano gratuito per una piacevole merenda al rientro dalle escursioni.

Charme, authenticité, service.

A l'écart du centre animé et bruyant d'Ubud mais proche à pieds. Navette gratuite vers le centre ville. Personnel aux petits soins des clients des 8 chambres de l'établissement. Chambres implantées dans un adorable jardin. Hotel de grand charme avec un caractère très familial.

Charming Authentic Balinese Villa

Lovely room within a beautiful quiet setting in cute Nyun Kuning village with free shuttle to Ubud town Centre. Breakfast on your own terrace overlooking waterlily pond each morning was a highlight. Staff were kind and couldn’t do enough for you. Lots of nearby cafes & restaurants.

Mix up with Booking.com on the room we booked. However, it was sorted out in the end.

Wonderful stay

Location was good, the hotel provided a shuttle to go to UBUD centre, Staff were humble & friendly. . . Property is full of greenery & plants. . . Food provided on order was great as well. . .

Food lizard in our bathroom multiple times which staff removed upon request. Property & seems to be bit old & pillows were not comfortable at all.

Very pleasant & relaxing.

Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice. Relaxing peaceful surroundings. Staff were super friendly & efficient. Shuttle bus into town. Walking distance into village.

Bed was hard. No tea making facilities in room, though could’ve ordered it on the phone.

Five star level comfort and service in a traditional home style atmosphere

Alam Shanti was such a hidden gem - I'm very glad to have discovered this place. Everything is exceptional - the quiet but convenient location, the efficient and warm staff, the drop dead gorgeous and extremely comfortable interiors and pool and the delightful breakfast and evening snacks. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience the greenery and serenity of Ubud in the most traditional way. We stayed in Yamuna room.

Great stay in Ubud

Wunderful villa in a dream of a garden. Very private atmosphere, quiet and relaxing. Close to Monkey Forest so monkeys come coatin you time by time. They stole one of our breakfasts which was a once in a lifetime experience. We enjoyed it though. Go there 👍

A beautiful and calm place nestled inside Ubud close to the Monkey Forest; exceptionally caring and friendly staff; huge

Exceptional staff, huge rooms with huge outside seating, thoughtful service provided throughout.

Everything was great. 1 nit - there is no shower but a hand shower but it isn’t a big deal.

Place to stay in Ubud.

Beautiful property, in a quieter section of Ubud but still close to the centre. Staff are all extremely friendly and attentive to any questions or requests.

Everything was perfect, the Gangga villa on the first floor with open bathroom and view and with private pool is extraordinary. The garden is beautiful, the breakfast is super delicious, the staff is extra kind! Thanks for everything!

The only thing that was strange is, that monkeys came in the morning to the terrace, to the open bathroom and once also into the room... They are not dangerous, but may steal things, so be careful, keep the doors closed!

Peaceful environment and magical surroundings, great value for money and location.

Breakfast was wonderful, people were wonderful, outlook of the villas were wonderful, location was convenient. Magical gardens and relaxing vibe.

Bed was a bit creaky, bathroom tiles a bit slippery for a toddler.

Great Ending of our Bali trip

Everything! We were amazed how much they were caring during our stay. The front person even prepared hot tea for my traveling guide who has waited for our appearance! Breakfast was super good with several choices. All the staff was attentive and kind. The room we stayed was well-decorated, spacious, spotlessly clean and beautiful with fruits basket. The location is nice because it’s really close to restaurants and so on. We simply loved staying here!

A beautiful, hidden gem of a place, perfect for a truly peaceful recharge of the batteries. Absolutely gorgeous!

This accommodation is stunning. The rooms are almost palatial in size, and the beauty of the architecture and artisan detail on everything was just gorgeous. The staff were lovely and so accommodating. My massage therapist Rhonny was fantastic. It felt almost like a family run affair with great attention to detail. The jungle felt right on out doorstep, and the beautiful gardens surrounding each house, were lovingly attended to. Only a 10-15 min walk through the monkey forest to town. Several small, but great little eateries only a few meters down either side of the road. We pre booked a free lift into town once or twice, but it was so much quicker to walk as the traffic in Ubud is now equal to that down in Seminyak and Canggu.

The only downsides (and they were only minor) was that there was no onsite restaurant; and no phone line (you had to use WhatsApp - which I don’t use) As my son was unwell for a few of our days there, it would have been handy if he could have ordered a meal whilst we were out.

Just perfect

I could not fault anything. Best place I have ever stayed at. Staff were exceptional, nothing was too much bother. Rooms were gorgeous and the massages and facials were terrific. Breakfast was great and even afternoon tea was complimentary.

perfect place for relaxing in Ubud

huge tranquil garden, friendly stuff, highly customised breakfast, big comfy bed, villa design, magical atmosphere, good location! afternoon tea at your villa, Balinese performances at Laka Leke

Hotel Shop & Spa are not looked after well and need an upgrade. Pool need a little bit more attention as well, as you can’t order any drinks and sometimes it looks abandoned.

Excellent stay. The staff is so warm and they do everything to make your stay nice. Lovely breakfast and pool. The property is really beautiful with lily ponds and outdoor shower. Loved the marble bathtub. The ordered in food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Loved loved loved it
