Long week-end à Essaouira

Riad très calme, excellent petit déjeuner, roof top très agréable, plage toute proche

le riad est éloigné du « centre », d’où le calme que j’ai apprécié, mais je n’étais pas à l’aise pour rentrer tard par ses petites ruelles désertes.

Очень красивый риад. Я сделала кучу фото при разном освещении - как картинка! Душевные хозяева Отличный интернет Прекрасная терраса - я там несколько дней удаленно работала. Достойные завтраки с нормальным соком и омлетом Идеальная чистота Да положение удобное - легко найти и от ворот недалеко идти пешком (за воротами такси по городу 8 дирхам)

В комнате было сыровато Проблемы с розетками - постоянно выключались, тяжело заряжать устройства

bon rapport qualité / prix pour court séjour à Essouira

le riad est un peu excentré du tumulte de la médina et la rue est au calme. La salle de bain est spacieuse. Le petit déjeuner est copieux. (des fruits seraient appréciés) le toit terrasse est appréciable pour bouquiner. changement des serviettes tous les jours mais ce n'est pas nécessaire. La femme de chambre est agréable. Bon rapport qualité prix dans l'ensemble.

la chambre est aveugle et exiguë; l'aération des pièces est donc limité. (pas comme sur les photos de l'annonce) il n'y a pas de porte et fenêtre qui ferment correctement, vous avez donc le bruit environnant dans votre chambre et vice et versa. Je sais que c'est un riad, mais là, vous n'avez aucune intimité avec les autres guests! il faut sortir de la chambre pour accéder à la salle de bain. il y a une minuterie sur chaque lampe qui ne dure que 5 minutes, pas facile pour prendre une douche, de même sur les prises, donc impossible de brancher son téléphone à recharger pour la nuit. Une des prises près des têtes de lit ne fonctionne pas.

Essaouira, une très belle découverte

Très beau riad au cœur de la médina, architecture mauresque qui nous transporte dans la temps. Le ménage est quotidien. Les serviettes de bain sont changées tous les jours . La logeuse est au petit soin. Merci à khadija, la femme de ménage pour sa gentillesse. L'accueil, l'hospitalité et la gentillesse des habitants d'Essaouira, merci 😊🥰 La nourriture dans les petits restaurants populaires est juste magnifique et délicieuse.

La lumière en minuterie .Manque de chauffage dans la salle de bain individuelle. Manque un peu de rangement dans la chambre, mais ce n'est pas gênant pour un petit séjour.

It was very comfortable & friendly. It is like coming home. It does not feel any better than this.

Cleanliness & staff were absolutely amazing. I highly recommend.

The staff and breakfast. Seriously, their customer service was outstanding. The entire place was so clean and well maintained, it felt like we were all family.

A lovely Riad with a kind proprietor

the staff was very friendly and helpful, and accommodating for a late arrival. the breakfast was fresh and delicious, plentiful with lots of olives, dates, msemen, eggs, yogurt, tea or coffee, jams and honey, prunes, and fresh bread. the bathroom was very spacious and had a lovely large tub! lots of clean towels. lots of storage space and nice amenities in the room like a hot water boiler, fresh bottles of water, and sugar and tea.

unfortunately the twin room I booked had only a window to the courtyard and was very very damp inside (it can happen in these older buildings!). the bathroom is not connected to the room, though private, you must walk out into the courtyard mezzanine to access the bathroom. unfortunately there were about 12 air fresheners tucked into the wardrobe and drawers which made it very difficult for me to breathe as I have asthma. I would suggest to the owners that they put a dehumidifier or something to absorb the moisture and do away with the overpowering air fresheners.

I can't find anything bad about this place! First you will notice the beauty of the decor when walk in; it's like staying at a museum once you enter. You are met with some delicious cake and the famous Moroccan tea. The WiFi is fast, so it's good enough to work as a digital nomad. As a solo female traveler, security is important and it's top notch here. The beds are reeeeally comfortable. The place is spotlessly clean. The shower water gets HOT. Luigi and the rest of the staff are SUPER friendly and accommodating; anything you need, they will provide. The breakfast is excellent and filling (some days the breakfast was my only meal of the day) there are so many choices, and they will even tailor it to your taste. You are served coffee and/or tea at breakfast but you also have it in the room. Lovely stay, even for a long visit. They pay attention to the details and have not cut any corners on comfortability and hospitality. I ended up booking an extra 5 days because it was so amazing.

Very expensive for what you get

Located in the old city which made it a bit hard to access, and we felt very unsecure when going back at night. The prices are at least three times more expensive than it should be.

Really nice owners, big breakfast and good location. Room itself was good too.

You can hear a lot of what's happening in the other areas of the riad, I guess the walls are a bit thin. Despite this I still recommend it.

Wonderful experience, will definitely retrun

The breakfast at Riad Gloria was fantastic. I really appreciated that I could choose what to eat rather than be presented with an overwhelming breakfast that I always fear goes to waste. All the best moroccan traditional foods were there and a special Italian flavour included with a tasty tomato bread that was out of this world! This Riad is exceptional for the attention to detail. Comfortable pillows, mattresses and even a hairdryer! But please don't tell anyone, I want this to be our little secret!
