Clean boat and friendly staff. Food was great.
Activiites were well communicated.
Drinking Water at meals should not be charged. I understand for beer and wine but seriously for water.
It makes it feel that Era is trying to squeeze every dong out of every guest. Totally unnecessary, considering the cruise cost.

La très belle suite et la gentillesse du personnel, je pense en particulier à Chung et John Hải
Les repas sont bons mais pas exceptionnels comme lors de notre croisière dans la baie d’Ha Long en 2019 avec Signature Royal Cruise

one of our favourite experiences in Vietnam, the crew were so attentive and welcoming and the boat itself was outstanding. would highly recommend

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans ce bateau de luxe, c’est à vivre au moins un fois dans sa vie, les activités sont top !!!
Les toilettes japonais +++

4.5
Fantastic staff, very spacious executive cabin with balcony and jacuzzi, nicely done interiors
Could have had some onboard activities and games

We loved the 3D2N itinerary
Staff were amazing, especially Duc!
Needed snacks available for purchase between meals
Pillows needed on outside beds
Itinerary was repetitive on the second night (same movie, same cooking class, mostly same food)

Especially thanks to staff Mr.Vinnie and crews who take care of My husband as he got sudden kidney stone problem in the middle of the night. Since the pain is too severe have to go hospital, they arrange speed boat within half an hour and manage to go hospital near Pier. While my husband was hospitalized for 2 days, Staff Mr.Vinnie helps us a lot. I can't thank enough to say. Era Cruise is lucky to have such a crew member. And also, thanks to Mr Thuy Dang who help us for the Trip.
Since Vietnam is very beautiful country for tourists now and the future, should train Staffs for Basic English Lesson as we have problem in communication. So that we can visit again without communication problems.

The room and the bath
Definitely not worth the money you pay to take this cruise. The room is very comfortable, but the air conditioning did not make the room cold enough and there is no fridge. What I hated the most was the boat that takes people from the port to the cruise. This was very uncomfortable, backless seats and super hot, too many people together. Lunch on the cruise was good, like a tasting menu. But dinner was a buffet. I was very impressed with the experience. Drinks are super expensive and not much choice. The staffs are very solicitous and careful. The Worst Money Spent in Vietnam

The service was great, and the food was good. The room and bathroom was exceptional! The Ha Long Bay cruise was the best part of my vacation, which included Vietnam and Japan. Its not to be missed!
The food was good, not great.

The customer service of the friendly staff, serving with a smile always , food was excellent and customised to our vegetarian preference, first time cruise experience was memorable. Leadership of duc was commendable, great teamwork by entire crew
Nothing in particular, everything was great

The food, the scenery, the activities, and the staffs
The reception was really bad. But it was replaced by tons of activities and other things. It was good to be out of socmed for once.

Easy to communicate with Era Cruises through Whatsapp.
Funny cruise manager Duc and pleasant staff.
Got upgraded to a King terrace room which was gorgeous.
Food on the cruise was very good even the buffet dinner dishes are repeated on the 3d 2n cruise.
Water during mealtimes were included in my package which was a surprise as everyone else had to pay.
Coffee and tea is free 24/7
Good swimming, kayaking, cooking activities.
Guide on the 2nd day was also very good.
Announcements are made before dinner and not thru an intercom.
Good transfer service in shared mini bus which cost 35 usd/pax/round trip.
Wifi did not work at all, not even in common areas.
Hot water was not available during off peak hours. Spa bath did not have hot water at all.
Drinking water is usually not included in the package.
Other drinks are quite expensive (cocktails 180000 vnd, juice 95000 vnd).
Happy hour (buy 2 free 1) was too short.
The day trip to the village was nice (electric car was free) but the rest of the day activities were a waste of time if you dont like swimming or kayaking.
The lunch on the day boat was horrendous, basically just different types of fried food and drinks are not included.
Very little cruising is done, most of the time we are stationary in the bay among other cruise boats.
A lot of trash in the bay.
I paid 520 usd (2 pax) for this cruise excl drinks and transfer service. I dont think its worth the price and I probably wouldn't repeat it again.

The whole trip was great: the peace, the cruise, and the staff. Nothing to improve, I would repeat for sure
5.0
The activity, the courtoisie of the personnel
Wifi deficient, it would be great to pick us up at our hotel with a minibus

We would 100% recommend the 2 night 3 day option. The people who did the 1 night to do seemed to only come on the boat (after a fair amount of travel, if coming from Hanoi) only to do a 30 min row and leave the next day. We are so please we chose the 2 night option and would seriously recommend. The boat itself was great, room was great, and staff were great.
The absolute only downside I can comment on is having to buy waters 5+ times a day as they don’t supply on board… so bring large water bottles!!
4.5
The rooms were beautiful…very clean and comfortable.
This boat is good for wheelchair users, the staff was very kind and helpful…we couldn’t ask for more!
Just one little thing…one of the activities was postponed because of rain and when we checked 20 minutes later for an update, they already left!! Wish an announcement would have been made.☹️

Service is fine; Halong bay itself is very pretty
The cruise is too old! Totally not the same as photos. I felt been cheated by photos shown here. I didn’t find Gym on the boat either and food is also very average, not like the photo. The food old smell spread all over the boat. If you choose because of photos, please think carefully again

I recently embarked on Era cruise vacation, and I had the pleasure of staying in one of the finest cruise at Halong bay I've ever encountered. From the Airport (Noi Bai) our pick up was professionally arranged into a comfortable SUV (Toyota Fortuner), All thanks to the superb arrangement and efforts from the Sales & Customer Manger - JOHN, I was captivated by the opulence and impeccable service that defined my entire experience.
From the moment I stepped foot on the ship, I was greeted with warm smiles, Welcome drink.
Staff at the cruise was polite, Honest and especially the Cruise Manger - Duc, consistently went above all service to ensure that every guest felt valued and pampered. Great guy and fantastic attention to detail- for the commitment to guest satisfaction.
Room -Bed spacious & superbly comfortable for family of 3, big bathroom with Jacuzzi & shower and stunning view.
Return Transfer was also arranged in comfortable Limousine. Over all our stay at this cruise hotel surpassed all expectations and left an indelible mark on my memory. The combination of luxurious accommodations, outstanding dining options, impeccable service, and diverse entertainment choices created a truly exceptional experience

Friendly and engaging staff, especially Duc. The rooms were clean and large with very private terraces.
There is not much to do on the boat other than spend time in the dining room or your cabin. There is a bar on the top deck for a drink before dinner but there is no pool or inside lounge. Also the top sun deck is sad looking with nothing more than a few sun loungers.
1.5
The view.
Ended up being really expensive with the price of drinks and transport they offered.
the fridge in our room was broken so we couldn’t keep any of our things cold.
There wasn’t water available when you needed it, we got told to go to the bar and had to buy some bottled water. This sucked because you can’t drink water from the taps. it should be free for the price you’re paying for a one night stay.
By the time you actually board the boat because of the transit from the dock to the boat, you don’t even get a full 24 hours to enjoy your stay. This should have been mentioned previously.
3.0
the staff was nice and the 2nd day trip to the island and the beach was also fun.
The staff was really nice BUT:
- it was double as expensive as announced.
- they try to push you towards taking the buffet but it is always the same.
- 3 days 2 nights and the lunch on the 2nd day (daytrip) was 30$ per person - which is a lot.
- I mean every boat has the same itinary ok. But the tour groups on our boat (of course one tour group each day as they were doing one day trips) were not so much fun.
sadly in the end i should have looked more and maybe chosen another boat

The cruise is beautiful, we enjoyed every single minute. Definitely worth it to spend 2 nights. The activities were fun, the place was clean, the food was super good and the staff was really kind. Thank you so much to Duc for being such a nice Guide! He was great! Hope to come back!
Literally is one of the best cruises you will find here

Food were amazing. Staff were friendly. I booked for King terrace room and size was decent huge. Activities for 2days 1night cruise is good for me as I am expecting just a relaxing time.
Cleanliness is slightly above average but can be improve to suit 5star cruise. Not a huge issue to me but will appreciate to have a complete toiletries ready available inside the room.

The king terrace suite was large and comfortable
Floating garbage EVERYWHERE. Leaving Got harbour was a 45min. tender ride on wooden benches just to get to the ship as well as the same on the return trip. No toiletries since I don't consider shampoo, shower gel & a wafer of soap on a 5* cruise toiletries. Not even a soap dish for the tiny wafer of soap. The most basic homestay at least provides toothbrush, ear buds, shower cap etc. Our fancy heated bidet seat didn't work, NO HOT WATER even though the neighbouring cabins didn't have a problem. Staff were unable to fix this. We spent more time off the ship during our 2 night 3 day cruise, you're taken off the ship on the last day at 10:00AM. The tour to the village (8 to 4pm) was a joke. Taken to a village on Cat ba island where we were given a lesson on ALL the previous wars that had taken place in Vietnam. A young boy (7-8 yo) rode his bike through the village giving all the tourists the middle finger with a big smile on his face. Kayaks were old and no rings on the paddles so you got soaking wet. Wifi only seemed to work in the reception area. Food was buffet. Tour to the cave started at 6:30 am and it was announced over loud speakers which were right over our bed, so if you're not going on the cave tour, you're awakened by the announcement. Sang the cruise director was doing his best and we felt sorry for him and the staff since they can only do so much and they tried their best. Kudos to Sang. We did a 3 star cruise in 2017 of Halong bay so thought we would do the Han La bay one. Era cruise was not 5*.

Staff and crew were superb. Boat manager Lee was there from check-in til check-out, assisting everyone with their inquiries and needs.
Room was really spacious, balcony view and room view was really great. Activities planned all througout the day but they will not force you to join if you opt to stay and explore the boat instead.
Food was top notch. For someone who is not a fan of seafood, I enjoyed the provided lunch on the first day. Drinks a bit pricey but expected for these kinds of tours/hotel. There are free bottled water in the room and unlimited brewed coffee at the dining hall which is really great. Happy hour at the bar from 530pm to 630pm. Bar staff really kind and attentive to the guests.
They also make arrangements for hotel pickup and return which is very convenient specially if you have a lot of stuff with you. Our hotel was located in a tiny street but there was someone who picked us up and guided us to the shuttle pickup point.
Towels, shampoo and body wash were provided but no toothbrush. It would be a good idea to bring your own (but can ask staff for this as well)
