Awesome boat trip, very touristy spot so expect a lot of people when visiting outside locations like the cave. It was very fun tho.
Food wasn’t that great in my opinion.

we booked two nights. but it turned out that we were the only ones on the ship with such a reservation. accordingly they explained to us that the next day we had to get off the ship on a disgusting Ti top beach and wait until she returned with new tourists. therefore, for double the fee, we were not offered to see anything different from the first day. the owner is a total fraud. cockroaches in the cabin.

Itinerary is very nice, beautiful places
Old furniture, small rooms, very small balcony, not so comfortable

A light breakfast was served very early and then a brunch at 9:30am but no refreshments and so 2x fresh orange juices and 2x coffees cost 300 VND. Breakfast was more of local fare. But hot and plenty

friendly and helpful staff, good food, comfortable beds
There was another boat near by play loud dance music until late at night which made it difficult to sleep and woke my young children. Not the actual properties fault but given the type of area it is I don’t think it should be allowed.

The rooms are great- we opted for the balcony option and it was honestly worth the extra money. The views were impressive.
Bring your own water! It was 30 degrees and they only provided one small water bottle for both of us. Then, you had to pay 400,000 per 600ml each time you wanted water.

Our cruise Manager "Son" was an amazing host with full of life and energy. He made sure all our queries are answered, he also played role of guide and the itinerary was kept entertaining. Food options for Non-Veg people are plenty. Pickups and Drops were properly arranged as per communication.
Vegetarian people need to adjust with limited options though. Cruise was parked behind a big mountain at sunset, had it been at proper place, we could have got better sunset view to capture. The pricing for all the cruises are higher as compared to regular hotel stay in Vietnam overall. Movie/Karaoke singing event at night did not happen, other cruises were beaming with entertainment and noise until late night hours, our cruise went offline too early in the evening post dinner. I requested special birthday decoration & cake arrangements for my mother's birthday celebration on cruise, however, I did not receive any detailed response from cruise apart from charges for cake arrangement, which were expensive too.

We paid USD15 each for 1 way bus transfer to Halong Bay jetty. Waited 2 hours to be told when other cruises had set off that the 2 day 1 night cruise was cancelled with weather condition cited as a reason. The rest of the cruises did not seem to have this problem as the tourists boarded their boats with their luggage. In exchange we were told to convert to a day trip touring Halong Bay for 3 hours & an overnight stay at one of their affiliated hotels on the spot. We sensed something fishy & demanded a full refund. Wasted half a day at the jetty to get a refund.

Lovely small boat.
Good activities, great staff and wonderful food.
When we anchoed in the bay for the night we were right next to a large boat playing loud music and singing Karaoke through microphones until midnight.
Our boat was full of older people who were looking forward to a nice peaceful night at sea.
It was the only thing that spoilt our cruise.

Tam and all the staff were wonderful and our cabin and the rest of the boat was spotless and clean. Great service and Great Value for money compared to some of the quotes I received. I would highly recommend the 2nights option. 1 night is not enough to experience the magnificent Ha Long bay.

Beautiful location, relaxing atmosphere, nice group of people on boat, fun activities like exploring caves and kayaking. There was a nice combination of relaxation and activities, such as Tai Chi and cooking classes.

Just an amazing trip. Fantastic scenery and activities.
Staff were fab and couldn't do enough for us. Food was fabulous and lots of choice, provided alternatives for our daughter who is vegetarian.

The cruise went really well, the staff on the boat was so friendly and nice. Our tour guide was the best, he was really invested and made the experience great. The food served was delicious, with a variety of choices for the buffets. It was really beautiful to see Halong Bay this way, we wish we could've stayed longer.
Unfortunately, we encountered some issues. The cruise isn't really 2D1N since you board at 12:30, and you leave at 10:45 the next day. Also don't expect the boat to look like the picture of the website, as they don't put the sails up during the entire cruise. Our room also wasn't the best, as the sliding door for our balcony was trapped and could barely move, we couldn't fully close or open it without struggling. The lights above our bed couldn't be turned off as the light switch didn't work, we had to cut the power by removing our room key. At night, since all boats dock near each other, you have multiple very loud karaokes lasting until late that you can clearly hear from the room. However, this isn't the cruises fault, this is an issue concerning all other Halong Bay cruises. Be prepared to expect a lot of other tourists at every visiting locations as all cruises follow the same itinerary. The staff on the boat was amazing, but the customer service online could really be more professional.

Mr Thua Nguyen - The cruise manager deserves a Salute!
Such a fine gentleman who made our stay even better with all the other good things around!
The food! OH GOD! The lunch they serve when you board the ship is like heaven! We tried out so many different cuisines, so many different dishes. The cruise was clean, the wifi was good, the food was amazing, the kayaking experience in the morning is one of my most memorable thing. Their entire crew is well mannered and very gentle. The cooking class in the evening is also great. The top deck is gorgeous. The "Happy Hours" are really good to enjoy a few drinks with 1+1 offers. Everything was flawless
Nothing at all! I doubt there could be anything to not like about Syrena and their crew!
