Best location in the city
Bathroom lights were weird

It’s a beautiful hotel, great and quiet location. Except for the weekends I guess. I took a large room, just a little bit more expensive but a lot more convenience.
Breakfast could start earlier than 8 am.

I liked the service, the rooms were comfortable, everything needed was provided, couldn't have had a better hotel experience
Everything!!

excellent rooftop restaurant
perfect locatiion in the heart of the city
very professional and helpful front of house staff
rooms are small
Some of the restaurant staff are not very efficient, and speak zero English

Fantastic location, amazing rooftop.
Noise was not good. The huge brass band on the Friday was completely unnecessary, not everyone wants to party - some people have early flights or are there for work. A hotel is primarily for sleeping. The other criticism is all the staff using the main area as their eating / socialising area. This encouraged noise next to our bedroom and also devalues the hotel. Couldn’t there be somewhere more private?

the location and the service provided by staff.
the actual hotel isn’t a luxury experience or justifies the price. The rooms are small and it’s a lively place so there is a lot of noise but that is expected.

very nice location, amazing view from the roof top with a very good menu, excellent spot in the middle of bars, cafes and shops, just next to Santa Domingo and the botanical garden( both really worth to visit).! we will come back!

The location is ideal for sight-seeing. The Zócalo, Santo Domingo church, the main museum, etc. are all within short walking distance. The décor reflects a contemporary and tasteful use of traditional, local materials. The bed was more than comfortable and the view from the terrace spectacular. Everything was chic, without being overpowering. The breakfasts are among the best to be had anywhere on earth: great coffee, fresh fruit and yoghurt, a wide array of traditional breakfast fare.
The noisiness can be excessive. One expects some noise in such a touristic area with some of the best restaurants in town, but more attention could be paid to reducing sound. As is common in trendy Oaxacan establishments, there is much use of steel stairs--which can reverberate a great deal with heavy footsteps or high-heeled shoes. Although one can anticipate noise emanating from a roof-top restaurant, it doesn´t help when the clean up crew screams and bangs around equipment after midnight. Perhaps thought could be given to installing some noise cancelling wall panels. The doors to the rooms dont keep out much sound (wood planks). Not sure if the plumbing is up to speed: the room would smell rather foul if the plug-in atomizer was not on all the time.

I liked two things: location and food. Located just steps away from the Santo Domingo temple and 4 blocks from.the Zocalo it's a great advantage. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful.
A lot of noise late at night and early in the morning, personnel arriving to work at the kitchen and guests waking up early made the place very noisy.

The hotel is in the centre of the city and full of life – it was great to be in this location and we were prepared for the noise and business of the location. The room had huge vaulted ceilings and a sizable bathroom with a fantastic tub for soaking.
The room was dark due to the fact we were on street level and to open the shutters and blinds would mean people seeing right into the room.
3.8
it had a good view and was located close to all of the sites.
it was ridiculously loud, basically we were sleeping in the middle of a busy bar and restaurant, where drunk people would knock on our door as they exited the restaurant. Almost imposible to sleep, and the internet does not work, plus the bathroom is slightly moldy.

The view of the restaurant and the food is amazing!
A lot of noise at night, no windows in my room :/

Location is great! Staff and facilities top notch, pet friendly which is a bonus! Loved the little extras in the room. Although we had a small room it was perfectly equipped. Value for the basic room is great. I stay often in Oaxaca for work and decided to splurge a bit. Compared to a basic room around the area which are around $1000-$1500 in the high season, Hotel Los Amantes basic room includes a delicious breakfast and great amenities. Very much worth it. Will be back and want to check out some of the nicer rooms with bathtub!

The rooftop is awesome , and the breakfast is really good ! the amount and the quality is great! the service is good ! and there are many spots into the hotel to grab a drink or coffee very nice and confortable.
the noise early in the morning was horrible , I understand at night the bar it didn’t bother us, but early in the morning I mean 7am the people
who works there were talking so loud and the music starts at 8am, totally unnecessary. also before our arrival I called to share that it was our first stop during our honey moon , also an email and they didn’t show any courtesy or any option to upgrade .

The Location and the service.
it is a little noisy becuase of the restaurants in the courtyard and rhe uooer terrace. However the Hotel warned me about that way in advance of my stay and provides earplugs in the room free of charge.

noise at hotel is terrible due to construction and materials. the rooms hear most of the bar and restaurant noise

The Location is probably the best in Oaxaca City.
The Terrace and Restaurants have great views.
The Food is good.
The noise at the location especially at night is very loud.
The service at the restaurants is very SLOW!
It looks the Hotel and Restaurants are UNDER Staff.
Need Maintenance in all common areas

The hotel was very clean, friendly staff and well located. The room had comfy beds and it has a nice decoration.
This is not a hotel to come and relax, it´s very noisy. The first night our room was below the kitchen/bar of the restaurant at the rooftop. It was very noisy until 2am, the same thing happen at 6:45am when the cleaners arrived. The TV didn´t work as well. We asked the hotel to move us for the second night and they did, It was a little noisy, but not as bad. Some of the rooms don´t have natural ventilation.

Amazing location, great rooms, loved the rooftop and the views
Breakfast is included but its very limited, only eggs and fruit. I would have loved to have a bit more variety in breakfast.
Its also a bit noisy, but to be honest the hotel warns you about it and they close at 11pm so its super fine to sleep! I would 100% recommend this hotel!
