Excellent stay!

I have nothing but good things to say about Harrington Guest House and Jackie. The location couldn't be any better. It is at the very central of Newquay just next to the train station. The shops, restaurants and supermarkets are all within walking distance. The Great Western beach is only 5 minutes walk. Jackie had been a great host while we staying. Not only was she friendly and kind but she had also upgraded us to a two beds apartment due to cancellation. What a treat to the family. We had some great time at Harrington and Newquay. Would definitely recommend it.

Close to beach, restaurant, safe location, no disturbance.

Location was very near 2 beaches and city center, has car park, jackie who runs the place is very friendly and helpfull, breakfast was nice. Family enjoyed the stay.

Jackie is a great host and went out of her way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The breakfast provided was really good. The location is next to Great western beach and walking distance from Towan Beach. We were provided a garage to safely park our car. Would definitely recommend to other travellers.

Jackie is a brilliant host. Breakfast was lovely and the guest house was very clean. The very large bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend. We would definitely stay again.

Had a lovely short break in Newquay, most of all we were made to feel safe and comfortable.

Received a warm welcome to The Harrington Guest House. Nice clean room with comfortable beds. Good location to the beach and shops. Good hearty breakfast set us up for the day.

We have never been to Cornwall before however we found the Harrington Guest House at a very reasonable price compared to a lot of other guest houses/hotels available! The location is ideal, everything you need is literally from the end of the road onwards! The guest house itself was great- had everything you need, room was lovely, clean and comfortable and the breakfast had plenty of choice with high quality food! Jackie was a great host and nothing was too much trouble! If we return to Newquay on future holidays we will definitely be returning to the Harrington!

Great guest house near the beach

Jackie the gist was really friendly and considerate. She offered a great breakfast with a large range of options to start the day right! The room was cosy, with plenty of pillows. The location is fantastic with the beach a 3 minute walk away.

Perfect Budget Holiday House.

Room was great, double bed wasn’t the comfiest but was nothing to write home about. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great selection of breakfast options.

Only down side is that the bathroom was separate but I knew this when booking. Felt a little outdated but was still a lovely stay

Great place to stay

Every thing, Kris was so pleasant and helpful made is feel very comfortable. Our room was spot on clean, plenty of space and nice and warm when we got in from our days out. Breakfast was nice and enough. I can’t fault this guest house in any way it was perfect for me and my partner. We hope to come back soon. Thank you Kris for making our stay perfect

Excellent. Highly recommend!

Kris was very helpful after asking if there was a heater for my room he offered me a throw, put the heating on earlier and found out a little heater for the room. The breakfast was delicious, the room was spacious, very clean and had everything you could need.

The hot tap in room 6 after running for a minute or so went warm, the toilet flush you have to press really hard for it to flush properly, the double bed was two twins joined together so kept catching on the slight gap and the WiFi could be a bit intermittent.
