If I could sum it up, AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

1. Livio. amazing host! Full kitchen. Amazing building! Pics on booking.com do not do it justice. It is like walking into a museum that has been in the family for generations... Full 3/4 bedroom flat overlooking the city! Right next to central square, easy access. Livio has the flat prepped and ready with light accommodations... Cold water and vino in the fridge...Sure, if you are cooking that black ink squid pasta, just walk downstairs to the fish market. Fresh fruit and veggies everywhere. Prime location. Cannot say enough about our stay here!! Our luggage was lost, so having a washer dryer combo was amazing. So, the airport caught fire when we where here, asked Livio if we could stay longer...No Problem!!! Had to move to the lower flat, but no biggie. Then he offered to discount the room 1/2 price if we needed to stay longer than our fly out.

Nothing. Livio and his father are the best!! Very welcoming and warm!! 10 out of 10, would recommend!!!

Gorgeous and well preserved historical building. The frescoes and silver work are exquisite. The master bedroom is massive and elegant. The rooftop terrace is a welcome gem

This apartment was absolutely gorgeous, in a perfect location walkable to everything, excellent restaurants and the colorful market on the street - but if the windows are closed it’s completely quiet. We were a grown family of 4 and were very comfortable in the 4 beautiful bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Livio and his father were wonderful attentive hosts, we would come back anytime - grazie mille!

5 star Location & Host

Host was very nice and available. He provided a lot of helpful information to getting from the airport. Our host suggested places to eat, gave us coupons for the Funicular, gave us tips to what to visit. Location was excellent, next to il Duomo. Touristic area, with many good places to eat but also near the fish Market and other Markets.

Home away from home with character.

Plenty of room for a family of 6. It felt like home. You can walk to so many restaurants & shopping. Loved the location and the feel of being in a historic home. Nice to be able to do laundry. Would absolutely stay here again if you are not looking for hotel services. Wonderful customer service and ambiance. Don't miss out!

Highlight of our stay in Catania!

We were met by Livio who showed us around this spacious and uniquely furnished apartment. Learning about the history of it makes you only appreciate it more! The apartment is literally a work of art and, quite unbelievably, it is offered for short-term rent. Apart from the grandiose decoration, we appreciated the comfortable bedding, the air-conditioning and the location. You open the window and instantly you are flooded with the delicious scent of the market :) Plenty of options for eating/drinking and within walking distance to the Duomo. A playground is also available nearby. Beach within 2.5 km.

Absolutely stunning place, like a real palace with decorated ceilings and chandeliers. Perfect location, two minutes walking distance to the cathedral and central place. The apartment has all the amenities, great light and moreover Livio’s hospitality was really warm. he gave us a lot of recommendations and even offer us a bottle of his house wine. highly recommended!

Exceptional location and spacious apt.

Loved the spaciousness of the apartment and the big bathrooms. The location was close to the fish market, plaza and fruit markets. So many restaurants and things within a short walk. it was a wonderful location. Parking was generously arranged by our host and made it so much easier to have a car. Perfect stay!

Just Wow!

The friendly communications with Livio before and during the stay. This place has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Inside is really like staying in a palace. Wonderful stay, beautiful Palazzo, perfect location, incredible hosts. Perfect!

Perfect location, Palazzo is blessed with many balconies overlooking the fruit and veg market. This market is a part of the famous fish market in Catania, which is literally steps away. Beautifully restored internally, staying in a piece of history made this an incredible finish to our stay in Sicily. Livio and his father were exceptionally helpful. It was a real treat to stay here. In addition to the wonderful internal spaces, there is a private terrace which allows a view of the top of the Duomo, and for you to eat and drink al fresco should you so wish. There are sun loungers available too!

It completely exceeded our expectations, we will return. Nothing to dislike.
