try to find a hotel with parking if you come with a car

the room is big and lovely

They promis parking, we order a place. when we came they said .there is no parking we had to park 800 m away from the hotel. we could enter the room just at 15:00 so we wonder in the heat few houres.breakfast is served on the roof which is lovely , but the place was a mess. we waited long time for the coffe

Lovely hotel, charming and well-placed for tourists.

The hotel was well placed and central to attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially as I was on my own. The breakfast was healthy and delicious and there was a good selection. The roof terrace was fabulous - it was a real treat to be able to see Mount Etna.

It was a little noisy - you could hear fellow travellers in the corridors and the rooms either side. It was unfortunate that there were inconsiderate travellers saying at the same time as myself, otherwise it may have been quieter.

Perfect location in the Old city. Big and clean room and nice breakfast at the roof terrace.

Perfect location in the Old city, close to many restaurants and bars. The room was big with a beautiful painted ceiling, comfortable beds and clean. The breakfast was nice and served at the roof terrace. Parked at the private parking place just beside the hotel. Nice and helpful hotel staff.

Great location and the bed was really good. Cosy roof terrace.

Some of the front desk staff seemed almost annoyed when guests arrived.

Hotel has a perfect location just in the city centre. We were provided with the perfect parking place for 14€ per night. The room was very beautiful but with a strange smell that was felt when you enter the room. Maybe it’s because of building - it is quite old. We enjoyed it.

That we could check in late and location was great! The staff was friendly and helpful! Decor was historic and ceiling was painted. Rooftop seating. Large room with balcony!

Very good

Gorgeous and well situated building in the city center. Well maintained and nicely decorated. With cosy reading corners inside and a lovely terrace on the roof top. Spacious room and bathroom. Nice breakfast buffet and generally friendly staff.

Nice place for vacation

First of all,thank you for your hospitality,excellent coffee and breakfast on the terace,thanks to the lady that cleaned daily, We stayed in a nice room,old elements from the Palace,hight cells and the location in the middle of all *must*places to visit

Polite Staff,

hotel is in the middle of the city, you can reach everywhere within 10 mins by walk. Staff very help especially Eliana from reception and lady in breakfast Service.I advise you to book superior room(I stayed in rn:403) it was very large, Fresca is the nice thing you can see in the morning. Breakfast varieties are more than usual, you need to try Panzerotti. Overall it was nice stay. thanks 🙏🏻

We had 2 night stopover in Catania on our way to Malta. We enjoyed our excursion to mount Etna.

The hotel needs updating. The bathroom of the room that we occupied needs a complete make over

Good

Great breakfast, big spacious room, location close to Rua Etna so all the important attractions within walking distance. Airconditioning (and heating) worked a treat. Bit of a walk to the train station but doable if it is not too hot.

Nothing too bad at all to mention. The only thing that I didn't like was the small water bottles in the room were charged at €1.50 each which was unexpected and excessive. My advise to all is there are a number of supermarkets within 10 min walk. Buy all your water there at fraction of the price.

Such a lovely property. Clean and quiet room. The hosts are super helpful and kind. It’s so enjoyable to have breakfast on the balcony. Various breakfast and coffee.

Very charming building and a lovely hotel. Spacious room, helpful staff, and a great terrace for breakfast with a beautiful garden underneath. The staff were very professional.

The socket by the night table is single, so you either recharge your phone or have the lamp connected. I suggest changing that.

I would definitely book here again as it had everything we needed to make our stay pleasant.

Hotel’s location couldn’t be better. Staff were exceptionally courteous and welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful and rooms are charming and comfortable.

Superb

It is a very beautiful hotel. The location was perfect and the a the staff were very polite and their command of English is pretty good. Mirko and his colleague were very helpful. The rooms were clean. Will definitely come and stay here again in future.

The shower area was very small. Next to our room was a family with few kids that started screaming in their room and later started playing in the corridor.

Stunning interior, lovely classic architecture finished to a high standard. There is a roof terrace to sit out and have breakfast on which was a lovely surprise. There were lots of bars/ restaurants close by and the train station was only a 20 minute walk away.

Nothing to say about the property itself, it was perfect as a base for one night in Catania, as we wouldn’t stay in Catania any longer than that. Not our vibe

Ok for a short time in catania

Very close to the city center. Room is spacious and hotel is overall nice.

Parking had to be booked in advance. Had to leave the car somewhere else. Noisy surroundings.
