Zwischenstop auf dem Weg nach Hause

Zimmer im Untergeschoß, nahe der Küche. Vom Küchenbetrieb jedoch nichts mitbekommen. Personal sehr freundlich und Gast orientiert. Frühstück war super.

Dusche im Zimmer ist in die jähre gekommen. Nicht mehr durchgehend gefugt. Abplatzenden in der Wanne

A convenient boutique hotel to stay in historic Stirling.

The staff was very nice and understanding about our late arrival due to airline problems.

The room as a bit small for our large suitcases, but it's an older hotel. No worries really.

Convenient and good value for money

Our room was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. The quality of dinner and breakfast here was excellent.

Our semi-basement level room looked out onto the rear carpark, from which there was some noise of arriving and departing patrons and of kitchen staff gathering for smoko. The room had a slightly musty smell of dampness.

Ideal in every respect

A very attractive hotel in a quiet area but an excellent location only a few minutes walk into town. Spotlessly clean and attractively decorated and furnished in the public areas and in our room, which was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, service was a bit slow but we weren't in a hurry and the food was cooked to order and very tasty. All the staff were professional but friendly and the hotel has a welcoming atmosphere. Plenty of free parking behind the hotel.

Gran hotel en Stirling

Habitación bonita, muy amplia y confortable. Nos dejaron un detalle de bienvenida que se agradece. La ubicación muy buena, el desayuno nos gustó mucho. Parking en la parte trasera del hotel muy cómodo. El restaurante tiene opciones veganas y vegetarianas.

El WiFi no llegaba a la habitación.

Great value and best staff

The staff was super helpful and welcoming. They even created a vegan breakfast for me. We ate in the Restaurant in the evening, too and it was very delicious. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable. Thanks again for the great time and the yummy food.

Great place to stay for a Stirling Castle stopover.

Our room was spacious and with a view out the back of the building to the old jail on the hill leading up to Stirling Castle. The building is historic and the rooms fit the motif. No lift so be prepared for stairs but they will help with luggage on request. You can walk to everything of note in Stirling except maybe the Wallace monument which is a couple of miles away. The food in the restaurant is outstanding, though on the pricy side it is well worth the splurge. Likewise with breakfast though it is included in the room price. They do have parking onsite. Everyone is welcoming and attentive to your needs.

Can be a bit noisy from cars and customers coming and going from the car park out back in the late evening hours if you room faces that direction.

Great place for a cosy pre-Christmas break

Great property in a lovely location. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful, great selection of quality food and drinks, very comfortable and clean room finished to a high standard. Really enjoyed our stay- would happily return, and also recommend.

Nice small hotel

Nice and cosy and friendly stop off on the way to the Highlands, the staff were very welcoming and we ate well, which is not always easy when both are vegans. Private parking was a vey welcome feature, and the location was great for a short stroll to the old cemetery and castle before it got dark.

Restaurant and food were amazing, staff very attentive and reasonably priced...... loved the hotel, family friendly and room was lovely and cozy

Bathroom could be doing with a lick of paint and attention to cleaning smaller things like shower holder needed cleaning

It was ok

Staff were professionally friendly, not in your face, which was nice.

The room was dark, dingy, depressing. Had a kind of old Scotland feel with all the tartan, but the furniture seemed out of sync eg. an Ikea style wardrobe. The shower didn´t stay on.

The room was a littel run down needs some minor repairs and depening on where you room is situated there might be some noise to look out for

location close to town staff very friendly and breakfast excellent

we had the ground floor room which only window was right onto car park so had to keep blinds closed skirting boards in bathroom could do with a coat of paint
