Wonderful location, close to station and lots of bars and restaurants

Excellent location. Room was very comfortable and the bed was one of the best I’ve slept in. Excellent staff, knowledgeable and helpful.

All in all lovely staff lovely venue and good surroundings.

Bed was comfortable shower was lovely and warm the room looked bigger in the photos but there was enough space for both my husband and I - no complaints really. Breakfast was lovely and I enjoyed the fact that it was pre-bookable so there would be no waiting around for a table.

I had asked for a late checkout as we where going to a wedding 10 mins away from Stirling and it didnt start until 1 - I asked a good few weeks prior to arriving and was told to ask when I arrived and that it would probably be okay however the housekeeping declined our request which meant we had to then get up earlier to get ready and we had to go to the wedding venue really early - I think for next time if someone requests a late checkout it should be agreed there and then at time of booking so that this doesnt happen as this was a bit of a disappointment. Not anyones fault but that would be the only thing I would mention that was disappointing.

We would definitely return...and request a room on aower

Amazing location, which is why we booked here. Included breakfast was excellent!

The lift is broken and apparently has been for a long time. It is not mentioned anywhere that you will have to climb several levels of stairs to get to your room. We were on the top floor and it was very difficult with our luggage. I imagine that many seniors would not make it and feel it should have been made known on the booking so people have the option of booking a lower floor if they feel thay cannot make the hike.

La déco et l’emplacement sont un point fort. Le petit déjeuner était bon et copieux.

La chambre était très petite comparée aux photos. On était juste avec un lit bébé.

Nice room.

Fantastic breakfast. Room was clean and comfy, really good value for the money paid.. up lots of stairs however and the lift was out of order.

Great small hotel in perfect location.

Great breakfast, friendly knowledgeable staff. Comfortable room. Convenient parking. Restaurants and castle within walking distance. Quiet location. Close to train station.

Lots of confusing staircases to get to room. Got lost on the wrong staircase once. Small public spaces. Room was dark and no view (small window).

First morning, no one around for breakfast. We never got to have coffee. Poor chef came in alone to feed many tables

Very good

Room was comfortable and a nice size.Location were great, right in the heart of Stirling.

Breakfast was mediocre at most. Over cooked discoloured scrambled eggs and vegetarian sausages. If your going to use teapots I recommend that you put the teabags in them not in the small teacup.

The location was good

The apartment that we ended up in was very run down. The first night the water heater was not working and was not able to be fixed the first day which was severely disappointing as we had been on the road all day. The kitchen was severely lacking only 3 forks and 4 plates for a place that offers accommodation for 6 people. there was also no soap to wash the dishes or any towels for paper towels for the kitchen. The dishes were also dirty when we got there. Although the owner came to check the water heater the first night, the only thing they could offer us was a “complementary” bottle of sparkling wine, which doesn’t really compensate for having to taking cold one minute showers.

Really friendly lovely staff. Comfy bed. Quiet room. Good shower. Amazing breakfast in lovely surroundings playing excellent music.

No option for extra toast, coffee or juice at breakfast. Cups and glassses weren't cleaned after the room was housekept. Very tiny sink in bathroom.

Brilliant!

it's very well located, right at the center of Stirling, and everything you might need. Staff is helpful. Room is warm and comfortable, shower is good, bed and pillows are good. Breakfast is amazing. Soooo much better than the last time we visited! There are a lot of options to choose from, and everything is delicious.

nice hotel, could be fantastic if more attention to detail

staff are very friendly made you feel welcome. food was great. comfortable beds and living room.

we had to ask twice for new loo rolls and tea bags. housekeeping came and emptied the bins once in a four night stay. it was clean but the dishwasher was dirty inside and there were items left under the beds from previous guests.

Restaurant was very good, hard-working staff.

Stairs everywhere; from car park, to reception, bar, restaurant and rooms. For seniors with mobility problems, this was difficult.

Nice hotel, reasonably priced in the centre of Stirling

This was a nice old building in the centre of Stirling, very convenient for all the tourist attractions and the station (we went on a day trip to Edinburgh) Breakfasts were good but quite slow some days.

We were not happy with the first apartment we were put into for various reasons, but the staff were very helpful and we were able to move the following morning to a much better one. However, this was on the front of the hotel, so beware if you like to turn in early as this was quite a noisy pedestrian area until around midnight.

Would definitely stay again. Great location, helpful staff. With full breakfast good value for money

Staff very helpful and breakfast was lovely. Just what was needed after a late night at a wedding.

Room too light in morning as curtains didn't fit the window and falling down in bits.
