The location was amazing, such a cute beachy property. Had enough beds for our group of 7. Super homey.
Nothing.

Great view, good location in town and by the beach. Very spacious. Good kitchen, dining area, bedrooms and patio.
We really had a good time. I don’t have any negatives
4.5
The location was great. It was close even though it was up high. It was no higher than described. The rooms were large and the view was awesome.
The air conditioners worked ok, but they could have been better. Luckily the wind from the sea helped a lot.
5.0
We didn't request breakfast. The location is really lovely with a fine view over the town and the sea and a short walk to the beach
There was nothing we didn't like. There are lots of good restaurants nearby
4.0
The property was close to the town center. The view to the Mediterranean was very nice and visible from most of the rooms. The property was rustic but clean with a nice modern bathroom.
Anyone renting this property should be aware of noise from the nearby train tracks. This is a nearly unavoidable aspect of any lodgings in Montorosso as the tracks run between the sea shore and the town. Bring ear plugs.
3.5
Large space, nice view and had a kitchen and a washing machine + a balcony.
Hauling luggage up the hill is very tricky and steep. There isn’t real air conditioning - it is a mobile unit and only in one bedroom that makes the top balcony useless.
The staff were nice but the communication wasn’t great - there are lots of old things in the apartment that need advice to get working (like the washing machine). Info on these would be helpful or update them to something new. Bedroom downstairs was unusable as it was way too hot for our kids and no air con.
Some things really need updating - the kettle looks like someone has boiled milk in there so didn’t use it (there was an old stovetop kettle thankfully).
A bottle opener and wine glasses would be a great addition too - not important but the apartment seems to have everything else (even a nut cracker).
The power also went out multiple times by tripping the fuse box - there was a masked switch near the front door that also tripped the power.

Size and location
The air conditioning unit was a little cumbersome

A little hot at night but that’s it!

staff was super nice. location near trail was great.
our group of 3 couples got the place because it had three bathrooms. one bathroom toilet was broken and the power kept shorting out so we had to flip a breaker switch 3-4 times in the short 24 hours we were there. there was black mold in the shower. the shower didn’t have a curtain so water spayed everywhere. our worst hotel/rental on our 2 week trip (8 different locations)

Beautiful view, and close to the city and beach. Practical for the Cinque Terre hike. Good service and nice and helpful host. Would recommend!

We booked two Villas and only received one.
Instead of receiving the second Villa for which we paid, four guests were forced to sleep in a single hotel room sharing beds, then obliged to move to a second apartment, further away and with poor facilities. I repeatedly asked for a refund for the second Villa and was never given one by the host.

The unit was roomy
Totally misrepresented in the advertisement. It was 90+ degrees and you have to climb 96 steps to the front door. The ad suggested the unit had AC which it didn't - we baked! Also all units have terraces or balcony - we did not. Two of the bedrooms didn't have a closet or dresser to store any cloths. We had to use the living room. We paid for breakfast, only to find out it was 3/4 mile away at the cafe in the train station. Not worth getting!! My friends stayed in a smaller unit beautifully appointed and the owner met them their to carry the luggage to and from the unit and the breakfast was provided 30 second walk from the unit. Look elsewhere and pay a bit more if need be. It will be worth not having the aggravation and disappointment.

good location and great view.
lots of bugs, biggest thing was the amount of steps to come to the apartment
4.0
Definitely the view, the location in quieter part of town. it was nice when it was time to retire, only the church bells could be heard
There are 91 steps up to the villa, in the heat it is quite a climb. If you have mobility issues not recommended

location in the end was very good
They had oversold the property that we had paid for. It was full of other people when we arrived. Total mess up. The host acknowledged that they made some type of mistake. We were told we had to stay in another property with no air conditioning. They arranged transfer.

We found out the night before we arrived that they could not accommodate us. Instead of the 3 bedroom apartment with an ocean view in the old town that I paid for, we were placed in a 2 bedroom apartment with no view on the other side of town. there was no AC and 2 people had to sleep on mattresses on the floor of a bedroom.
4.5
The location is excellent, and the house is all renewed. A special thanks for the service of Natalino and Donatella, they were incredible.

The most amazing view! Lovely apartment, so close to everything.

Location is super convient, in the old town part of Monterosso. Apartment was super cute, quaint, and clean. Favorite part was the balconies with an ocean view! I was very apprehensive about this place since there are few photos of the interior and bedrooms, however don't let this deter you!
It would definitely draw in more renters if you included more photos of the interior of the place.

Nice view, nice location

Great location and beautiful view. Very large and comfortable.
3.4
Good value for money.
Wasn't aware it was located 15min from the town - up a super steep hill. The photos on the profile did no match the place we stayed in.
2.5
host was very nice. Location was fine, but not much else.
Weeds in yard, AstroTurf for grass, thin/cheap towels, OLD mattresses as old as the antiques in the house. Single beds not made up first night (son had to sleep on top of bedspread). A/C consists of a standing cooler in living room only. Not really AC at all. 2nd bathroom a cave with short ceilings and small shower. Needs upgrading like other bathroom. Fans were also very loud. Piano unusable.
