Great location surrounded by quality shops, bars and restaurants.
Comfortable bed with a/c and maid service each day.
Quality breakfast in local cafe.
A couple of small niggles relating to the shower, it’s rather small and there isn’t a shelf on which to put soap and shampoo.

Good location for us. Comfortable walk to Herculaneum. Picked it mainly as it had car parking which was great.
Room itself was good and great value for money.
Breakfast in the nearby cafe was very basic. just a hot drink and one pastry!
Walls very thin. Could hear next door talking into the night and flushing toilet way too many times!

Nice and safe place in a pleasant neighborhood of Portici. Shops, cafes, food, public transportation all easily reachable.

Very friendly local bar and generous continental breakfast
The outside coffee/tea facility is very good with good variety of teas but no coffee.

- polite host
- it could be a good decision (at a lower price) but only during the warm months
- the electrical current is activated only when a plug is put in a slot inside the room; the plug is connected with the keys. So you must decide between electricity and using the door
- there is no heater; only a AC that can't handle the task and consequently doesn't heat the room enough
- given that electricity stops when one is not in the room needless to say the temperature drops; good thing I haven't visited in the middle of a really cold wave
- cleaning is sub par; I've seen way too many hairs that didn't belonged to me and the bin was cleaned only the first day
- access from Naples is done through a sub-urban transit line that has delays and in the weekend the time between the trains can be 45-60 minutes
- the property is at ground floor and looks into a parking lot; the blinds are locked (adding to the sensation of being in a halfway house) so you have
- the price doesn't reflect the quality of services and location - I've paid the same amount per night for a stay in the heart of Venice in a nice hotel, with big, clean, warm and carpeted rooms and where I didn't felt like a convict for wanting to exit the room or use the amenities

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at this b&b. Everything was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and the shower was hot! The stay came with a free breakfast at a nearby cafe, that included a pastry and a drink which was delicious.
The only downside was that the electricity was off while we weren't in the room, which meant we couldn't keep anything in the fridge that could go bad. This was not much of an issue as there is another fridge outside the room in the kitchenette.

Dog barking constantly in the building / flat above us, waking us up first thing in the morning.

We liked the location, the room was okey (ground floor and dark), but Portici is a very pleasant place: shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, beach in 15 minutes. Nice, lively area, clean streets.
The breakfast at the bar. They don't speak English, they are unable to take the order from 4 people: we never got the right coffee or food. The breakfast food arrives rather late which is quite unpleasant if you are in a hurry to Amalfi Beach, Pompai, Capri, etc.

We stayed at B&B Pietrarsa for 3 nights, the apartment was clean and spacious enough to host our group of 6 people, and the location was just perfect, just off the High Street, therefore there is no noise at night, furthermore the train station is only 10 minutes walk away, and the trains to Napoli , Pompei and Sorrento run fairly frequently. Breakfast was served at a Caffe' 5 minutes away, and we could choose from a croissant or a slice of pizza and a hot drink. We went to watch the Napoli game one night, and the following day the owners were very kind in providing us information about visiting the Palace of Portici for just 5 Euros, and they also gave us some information about the Portici football game and where to buy tickets and scarfs from, we enjoyed our stay at B&B Pietrarsa, and we loved supporting the local football team on the Sunday for just 10 Euros each. I would recommend this place to all my family and friends, thank you to the owners Ivan and Mario, from the Birmingham lads, see you next year.
