Tolles kleines Hotel und super Gastgeber

Uns hat es im Higala Resort sehr gut gefallen und haben es bereut, dass wir nur 4 Tage dort waren. Peter und Anna kümmern sich um alles. Von Peter haben wir direkt einen Roller erhalten und er hat uns erstklassige Tipps gegeben. Bei einer Reifenpanne im „Niemandsland“ in der Nähe der Chocolate Hills hat er mit uns und einem Einheimischen telefonisch alles geklärt, sodass wir nach knapp 60 Minuten unsere Tour fortsetzten konnten. Peter dafür nochmals vielen Dank. Das Highlight in der Unterkunft war eindeutig Nero, ein richtig verschmuster Wachhund 😊.

A pleasant stay

We had a pleasant stay at Higala resort. Our room is simple but spacious, great for one week stay. We got tasty breakfast daily too, and the swimming pool is definitely the highlight.

Exceptional

The owner couldn't have been more nice with us! He helped us with everything. His dog, Nero, even if he look scary it's just adorable and will protect you during your journey. Everything was clean and functional. I defenetly recommend it 👌

Superb

Really loved staying at this B&B. Great location for exploring the island which is best done by scooter, and so happens to be a scooter hire place next door! The hosts, Peter and Anna, are really friendly and hospitable and helped with lots of local advice re best beaches to go to and places to eat. The room was massive and very comfortable sleep.

Nothing really. But it would be even better if there was a kettle in the room. I'm British and like lots of tea 😂

Perfect stay in Bohol

Honestly couldn’t have asked for better hosts! We really enjoyed our stay at Higala and can’t recommend it enough. Rooms are big and spacious, pool is an added bonus!

There was a smell coming from the pipes during our stay but the issue was dealt with as soon as we said something :)

Lovely swimming pool and very safe and secure. Breakfast was good and there are some nice restaurants nearby.

Nice stay, good value for money

Property was nice and owners very friendly and helpful. Pool is good and nice bar. Cute dog Warm shower about 10 mins from Alona beach by motorbike

Unfortunately our pillows were old so they had no volume and we did find one to be covered with mould when we took the case off. Our refrigerator didn’t work.

Great accommodating owners with such a good value for the money that cost.

Very friendly and very helpful owners. It is super quiet and very nice place. Very good price for the accommodation and breakfast that you get. You can rent a motorbike from the place in a very good conditions!

Maybe the mattresses can be improved… If you want a resort near Alona maybe this one is a bit far away…

Great hosts for a comforting stay near Bohol

Peter and Anna are excellent hosts that really make you feel at home. They sorted out my scooter rental, which gave me complete freedom during my 4 night stay. Furthermore, Anna’s cooking was exceptional throughout, her prawns are arguably the best I’ve ever tasted! Besides the exceptional hosts, the location is a great base for anyone wanting to explore Panglao or Bohol island; and there is a very well equipped gym 10m from the property. Thank you for having me!

The place was very peaceful and felt like home. Ms. Anna and Sir Peter were very nice. It was already late when we got there but they still welcomed us warmly and even helped us in ordering our food. Their dog, Nero, was also very friendly. :)

After tried many places in Panglao, it’s my favorite.

Owners are very sympathetic, the room is very clean, the swimming pool is big, good for swim. Near restaurants, near beaches. Don’t search other, Higala resort is the perfect place. (The Dog is fabulous, congratulations for the education).

We would highly recommend this resort to anyone who wants to relax in a beautiful setting.

We feel at the resort like home away from home. Anna and Peter are fantastic hosts. They were very helpful in arranging all what we asked for. The resort is a wonderful place to relax with beautiful swimming pool, rest area and bar. You can swim almost any time of the day or night like having your own pool for yourself. Very tasty breakfasts were cooked fresh every morning. Room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. We liked the tiled floors. Air conditioner worked very well and kept our room nicely fresh and pleasantly cool. We recommend to rent scooter for your entire stay. Peter will be more the happy to arrange it. And one additional bonus of the resort is the dog named Nero (if you like dogs). He is an amazing dog. I could call him an "Einstein" of dogs because of his high IQ. Playful, smart and very friendly with guests.

I'll definitely be back

The place is very well maintained and especially super familial. Peter and Anna are extremely nice and helpful with everything. The hearty breakfast is good and you should consider asking Anna for a seafood dinner - it's awesome! Good gym next door. I will be back here for sure

Beautiful and quiet paradise

Beautiful, relaxing and quiet place with large and clean rooms. Highy recommend. Thank you Maam Ana and sir Peter for taking care of my mom. She had a wonderful time.

Very nice

Anna is very friendly and helpful. She organised everything for us (scooter, island hopping tour, transfer to the airport...). She also cooked seafood for us and the other guests. It was delicious. The room is big and clean (they clean the room everyday). The bed is comfortable, its very quiet in the night and the pool is very clean as well. We had a very good time at Higala Resort. Thanks for all.

Just ok. Not worth the money I paid for.

The location is very quiet and someone looking for an isolated stay and a laid-back env will surely like it.

This is a private property and is not managed professionally like a company resort e.g. Bohol beach club, etc.
