Wonderful and comfortable stay

Front desk and room service was marvellous, shout out to Eric and Florence for their impeccable service. We had a free upgrade to a grand room and the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Book the rooms with the bathtubs if you can! Also, we love the toiletries from Grown Alchemist. We joined their Historic tour and it was interesting to learn how they revamped the premises. Would be better if they shared some ‘before’ photos as well. I would come to HK again just to stay at The Murray. So far, one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in.

Belle découverte, je recommande

chambre N3 très spacieuse avec vue sur la cathédrale. accès au Cassia Lounge proposant de très belles prestations ( Ruinart à discrétion...). Personnel aux petits soins. je connais très bien Hongkong et j'avoue avoir été séduit par cet hôtel que je recommande

Peut être la lounge Cassia que je trouve un peu austère sans charme.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, die Zimmer sind wunderschön, der Service außerordentlich

Das. Frühstück war sehr gut, viel Auswahl an europäischen und chinesischen Gerichten, wunderbares Obst, sehr guter Kaffee und Tee. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr höflich und hilfsbereit, man fühlte sich willkommen geheißen!

Auf Kaffee und Tee beim Frühstück musste man teilweise länger warten, vielleicht kam der Barista an der Kaffeemaschine der Flut der Bestellungen nicht nach. Aber das wirklich da einzige, was man bemängeln konnte.

It’s location , the breakfast, the Cassia lounge, the cleanliness, the staff ….. all so good!! Oh and the Portuguese tarts ❤️

The Murray Experience

The Murray is Opulent and Classy. Our stay was an Exclusive Experience, and staff made us feel at home. We celebrated our 20th Anniversary and the Hotel went out of its way with complimentary balloons and delicious cake for our celebration. The rooms are very spacious with lots of amenities and qreat locations.

Facilities are well decorated but now designed well from the users’ experience perspectives.

Service!Service!Service! Upon checking in, we found the room is not an upgraded room as previously promised in BOOKING.COM’s app, we are quite confused and disappointed. However, the staff of Murray didn’t even try to help solving the problem and kept saying that ‘you should contact with Booking.com’. It’s very embarrassing and disappointing. As a level 3 member of booking.com, I’ve stayed in almost 100 5-star hotels around the world. But it’s the first time I feel both disappointed at the Murray Hongkong and also Booking.com!!!!

I won't recommend this place.

The staff at the lobby gate were kind and helpful.

Bed was too hard and the sheets were not good quality. The view is not that good. The price is too high. It's not 5star hotel. The hotel charged much more than the booking.com price. Make sure you have proof of the price as you got from the booking site when you check out. Once you pay they won't fix it.

A great place to stay in Hong Kong for special occasions!

Excellent reimagining of a former office building into a top class hotel. Comfortable room, good location. Fantastic rooftop restaurant and bar with great views.

Odd design of swimming pool facilities - no changing rooms beyond individual bathrooms.

The staff is very friendly and upgrade our room for free, the room is big and clean.

The bathtub drain plug is not very convenient to use, it stuck once.

A pleasant stay with good services and room

The staff has a great services, they are so thoughtful and provide help before you ask. The room is beautiful, especially the bathroom. The TV also out of expectation, it gives a cinemas vibe there. My partner and I would like to come again.

Very good

The Murray is a fantastic hotel in the heart of HK Central area. It is beautifully appointed, great location, excellent service and large room by HK standards. Breakfast buffet was great - good selection of western and asian that was just right. Staff was excellent and always ready to assist.

The only complaint I would have is that the bed was not as comfortable as you would expect from a hotel like this. The mattress was hard so perhaps a good quality mattress topper is needed.

The breakfast places were far too small so we ended up canceling our reservation when we saw the long line still at 9:45.
