Geräumiges Apartment mit umfangreicher Ausstattung (Waschmaschine, Trockner, Toaster), zentrale Lage in Reykjavik, relativ ruhig, problemloser Zugang
etwas steril (Kunstblumen, Hochhauskomplex), Blick auf Hotelfassade, nicht ganz sauber (Sachen von Vormietern unter dem Bett), Wohnung sehr heiß (Bad bei 28 Grad, sonst >23 Grad, von uns nicht veränderbar), Adresse nicht leicht zu finden (Apple Maps zeigt Hausnummer an falscher Stelle an)

The apartment was spacious, clean, and modern with all the amenities you could need. Laundry in the bathroom was easy to use and a great amenity. All the appliances were in great shape. The location was excellent and easy to walk to most of Reykjavik's tourist spots. They had great black out curtains in the bedroom for our summer stay. Would recommend for long term stays too as there was tons of closet space and storage. Cute balcony but we weren't able to use due to the rainy and wet weather.
Parking - It seemed easy enough to use the parking garage underneath the apartment HOWEVER it is very tricky. The instructions they send seemed thorough but they are not. We highly recommend downloading the Parking.IS app and parking on the street via the zones. Those instructions are much clearer on the app. The parking garages make it more difficult & more expensive.
We had a few issues with our shower not working but the management was prompt with their responses and resolution to the issue. They communicated very well. We stayed here twice as we like it so much!

Leider war bei Ankunft bereits der Vorhang zum verdunkeln kaputt. Die WLAN Stabilität war auch schwierig.

Modern, spacious and comfortable apartment in downtown Reykjavik. We stayed in a 2B/2b apartment which was great for our 4 day stay. Our family of 4 had enough space for everyone to not feel cramped. Rooms were on the smaller side (typical for the area) but living/ dining room areas were ample size. Master bedroom had tons of closet space. The bathroom was on the smaller side but the fantastic water pressure from the rain shower head made up for that! Larger second bathroom had working washer and dryer which was great to have before leaving for the second half of our trip to the south coast. Staff was not on site but very responsive via text. We loved our stay at SIF Hotel. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed in the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom with a balcony. The property was very well thought out. The master bedroom had a walk in wardrobe and en suite bathroom with TV. The smaller bedroom had 2 single beds and a rack whilst the sofa bed in the living room was exceptionally uncomfortable. The layout of the kitchen was amazing and everything was so straight forward to use. Staff were exceptionally accommodating to us and very easy to reach at all times and took their time to help us when we were struggling to get the access codes for the apartment. Didn’t use the balcony as much due to weather but it was very comfy and had a nice view of the park outside which was very pretty when it snowed. Also the house has floor heating so we were NEVER cold!
We enjoyed everything! I think the only thing we struggled with was the access codes and understanding which ones to use but other than that this trip and stay was perfect!

The apartment was modern and spacious, loads of room for our group of 3. The shower was lovely after being out in the cold all day, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen is equipped with all you need and really quiet with no road noise. I couldn’t really fault anything in it. It’s also within a walking distance to the city centre and the coast, and added bonus that the tour group buses pick you up just outside by the apartment building. Easy to access also with codes so don’t need to worry about carrying keys with you.
As mentioned I can’t think of much to fault! Lovely space to stay.

L’appartamento è stupendo, nuovo, pulito e arredato con gusto, dotato di tutti i comfort (lavatrice, asciugatrice, lavastoviglie, forno, microonde, aspirapolvere, ferro da stiro…) la posizione è perfetta a 2 passi dalla fermata numero 12 dove fermano i bus per tutti i tour e a 2 passi dal centro della città. Ho adorato il fatto che non ci fosse bisogno delle chiavi per entrare in appartamento ma semplicemente di un codice. È stato bellissimo soggiornare qui!!

The place was so beautifully decorated, the technology was amazing in there, everything was so easy to use/do!! The views were absolutely amazing from every room especially the balcony, it was so lovely to sit with a hot drink on the balcony and look at the view every morning/night
They also left a book on the table filled with all the information you would need to visit reykjavik, such as the best restaurants along with their price range, the cheapest to most expensive supermarkets, and all the info you would need to use things around the apartment!

Closed to town center and walking distance to seaside. Site seeing buses pick up location just next to the apartment. The shower bath water pressure was so strong and comfortable as when you had a long day trip back for relaxing showering.
Not too bad but just a little bit confusing for our rubbish at downstairs bins area.

These apartments are spacious and clean, within a convenient walking distance to many downtown attractions. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had all the amenities one would need. Bathrooms were well-maintained and properly stocked. Could even see the ocean from our apartment. We'll definitely stay here again when we are back in town.
The apartment can get a little hot if you're there in the colder months and the heat doesn't have great control over temp variability. All we could do was open the windows, and unfortunately there was a sulfur smell coming from outside on some of the days, which was due to the direction of the wind. It would be great if fans could be provided for those of us who sleep on the warm side.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartments are well within walking distance to the City Centre and bus stops. Although we didn’t spend much time in the apartment it had everything we needed and more. The washing machine and tumble drier came in handy after a day at the thermal baths!
Access to the apartment was easy and the whole building is lovely and warm. Beds comfortable and plenty of pillows/bedding. Great facility for the money.
If I really had to chose something to dislike it would be the sofabed. It was uncomfortable to use as a sofa. Cushions kept slipping. We didn’t use it much, just a cuppa in the morning and before bed so not an issue for us really.

We were change to another property last minute Ingolfsstræti apartments. The location is good if you want to be in the Center of the city.
We had complaints but the staff refunded us some money for our inconvenience. So they were really fair.
Apartment is a bit shabby. Cracks in the wall. Old marks on the cushions. But it was clean and comfortable enough.
The noise from the road is bad at night.
The access is via a corridor pas the restaurant that stores food and boxes that you need to get past - not idea if there were a fire.

Fairly central position and modern. The staff to whom certain issues were reported handled it promptly and efficiently.
Little things should be considered such as providing mop for the bathroom. Also, to use microwave one had to use the steps to get to it!

The property was easy to find and access, well located a short walk into the center, clean and modern.
What ruined our stay were the directions given regarding parking. It was not made clear that parking in the recommended car park beneath the building was extremely expensive compared to parking just outside on the street. It’s charged by the hour (including overnight!) but we followed the directions given with the booking and put the car there. For 1.5 days this cost us about 60 Euros!! By comparison I’d we had parked on the street it would have been less than 10 Euros. This could have (should have) been made clear.

It was a bit difficult to spot the building where the apartment is and to find out which entrance is for the residents. Also additional plastic bags for the dust bin were not provided.

Lovely warm apartment with nice attention to detail such as pods for the coffee machine and toiletries. The check in was easy and entry/exit keyless system great.
