About this house rental
You will find yourself in paradise when you arrive at Absolute Paradise Beach House. This holiday rental is awesome. The location cannot be matched as it is so close to the water and has Turners Beach as its backyard. You have great ocean views from the upstairs lounge and balcony with a sheltered outdoor setting. The northern sun also comes into the House keeping it bright and worm. What we love the most about the house is its close proximity to the water. You can hear the gentle soothing sound of the waves lapping on the sandy beach from inside the House.
We offer a true Beach House and we try to cater for everyone's needs. This two story 5 bedroom Beach House can be yours from as low as $19 per person per night (Minimum of 10 people for 7 nights off peak). The house sleeps 8 upstairs and 8 downstairs. It has 4 queen, 3 double and 2 single beds.(Extra single beds can be provided) Upstairs is large and spacious and has 2 ensuite bedrooms and a 3rd with 2 singles. There is also a double futon in the lounge. Downstairs is also self-contained and arranged into 2 small apartments, each with their own bathrooms and one with its own little kitchen. Bring your family and bring your friends to receive a great rate.
With cooking facilities both upstairs and downstairs you can still be tempted to go out as there are so many great pubs and cafe restaurants to eat out in Ulverstone only 5 minutes drive away and Devonport is only 15 minutes away. Not to forget the new trendy gourmet cafe "La Mar," that has just recently opened in Turners Beach. It is a great local place to visit for Breakfast, Lunch dinner or Brunch.
I won't blame you for wanting to stay at the house and go nowhere as it is so nice however if you prefer to be out and about the surrounding area has lots to keep you occupied. Turners Beach is on the boundary of the North Central and North West coast tourist region of Tasmania. Contact me for a 7 day holiday program guide staying at Absolute Paradise Beach House and visiting the not to be missed sites in the area.
Note: We try to accommodate people according to their budget and offer great rates for groups of 10 or more.

We had a lovely stay - plenty of room for parents, adult and teenagers. The kids enjoyed the space. Backyard has direct access to fabulous beach! Some details are a bit older and could be updated - towels, some kitchen appliances.

We were 6 friends gathering for some road cycling in the area. The location was perfect for our needs and the house easily accommodated us with adequate facilities for preparing meals and socialising after our rides.
The house was clean and well equipped and close to Ulverstone or Devonport if you wanted to eat out.

It was wonderful to find a house that would accommodate 4 couples. Sam has successfully created an environment that provides independence as well as community.
The kitchen is generously provisioned with crockery and cooking utensils and the house has been internally decorated with thoughtfulness and generosity. There were just a couple of things to note. ....only 2 wineglasses and no large serving bowls, strange when expecting a large number of guests. Also, from our reading of the accommodation description, we expected to be able to access 4 double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, however the 4th double bedroom was a locked apartment downstairs so the 4th couple was left with 2 single beds and the choice of the downstairs bathroom or the ensuite bathroom attached to another bedroom. A bit awkward.
Regardless, when I asked the group for their input for this review they all agreed that they loved the place and were very happy to be there.

We stayed as a family group and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and water views.
The en-suite bathrooms upstairs were good although not having a main bathroom meant other adults had to walk through bedrooms to use the facilities. There was also a lot of mould hidden behind the lace curtains in upstairs bathroom.
Overall, we enjoyed our short stay.

15 of us gathered for a family reunion and we had a wonderful time.
The accommodation wasn’t quite as described.
It was stated that there was 3sofa beds in the lounge but there was only one!
There was 4 bathrooms but you have to go thru a bedroom to get to a toilet not ideal at night.

Lovely spot, comfortable home with lots of beds and mattresses to suit three families travelling together.

Ground floor is in need of renovation, very dated. Not a fan of the granny lace curtains everywhere but that's my personal taste. The street view of the house is not attractive , needs some attention. Upstairs was more up to date. Comfy beds and roomy bedrooms for everyone to have their privacy. We had some issues with dirty crockery, lipstick marks on cups and glasses, there was also dried food on cutlery etc but that was probably down to the previous guests. The broken fly screens need fixing as one of them kept falling down and could fall onto a guest. Definitely close to the sea and the awesome beach, we loved our walks each morning.
Sam and Stacy were really good when our daughter realised that she'd left a jacket and handbag behind, they posted it down to her without charging her postage which I think is a fantastic gesture, thank you for doing that.
Overall we had a good few days away until the weather forced us to go home a day early but nobody can control the weather.

We had a great time staying at Turners Beach. Fantastic location for hitting the Mersey MTB trails, Don Railway and the Ulverstone waterside. Weather was amazing and the proximity to the beach is awesome. Huge property, we put kids downstairs and had a very chilled and quiet time upstairs.

Perfect for a larger group or for people who prefer their own space. The beach is just out the door and you are in driving distance of plenty to keep yourself occupied. The owner is a quick replier and was eager to help us maximise our stay.

Excellent Family Getaway!
The Absolute Paradise Beach House was the best holiday for my grandchildren and I. Everyone had an amazing getaway that was relaxing and refreshing. The sun coming in through the windows was amazing, so warm and comforting. The grandchildren had books, toys, games, and outdoor games at their disposal and were kept amused throughout the stay. It was amazing and I will recommend it to my family and friends. I will be back!

The very best holiday house ever!!
From the moment we contacted the owner to ask if we could arrive a couple of days earlier, to the layout of the house & the lovely chocolate welcome treats waiting for us, we were amazed and in awe! It was everything we hoped for and more! Would definitely consider coming back to Tassie again even if just to stay at such a wonderful house!! 5 stars all round!

Great place to relax
A big house which would be great for a family/friend group & suited us for a couple of days. Couldn’t be closer to the beach, lovely for long walks. Excited to see wildlife! Quiet area(would have to drive for cafes, shops). An old house but well appointed. Great place to relax.

Spacious home tucked behind the dune
The listing gave the impression of luxury, and we had high expectations. Our first impression was negative: seen from the street the house looks dated and unattractive. The front garden is flat, basic and unappealing.
Plenty of parking but nothing under cover.
Before arriving we had been ordered to remove our shoes on entering because the house is carpeted. It is, but the first sight of carpet is the staircase up to the accommodation: very old, stained, badly worn, and, on the first step nosing, torn. Likewise in the living areas: same carpet, perhaps 40 years old, badly worn and stained in places. The shoe rule is unnecessary and heavy-handed. Likewise the various threats and injunctions posted around the house. These are quite hostile and make you feel unwelcome.
This issue aside, we had a pleasant stay. New-ish and well-appointed kitchen (but don’t expect any extras like cling wrap or alfoil), with fridge, wall oven, dishwasher and microwave. Plenty of glasses, crockery, platters, bowls, saucepans and utensils.
Three big bedrooms, two with modern ensuites, but no shared bathroom. Covered verandah with a view of the ocean.
In the lounge there is a big tv and dvd player, with about a dozen kids’ movies: nothing for adults, and free-to-air tv only.
We had not been given the wifi key, and only after an exhaustive search did we locate it: at the back of the visitors’ book, of all places.
The lighting throughout is confined to ceiling lights with high-wattage fluoro bulbs: unpleasantly bright in the lounge, and not one lamp anywhere. In the same vein the whole place has a somewhat spartan feel. Curtains (newish) in the lounge where shutters or blinds would give a feeling of luxury, privacy and a chance to vary the light. Some old-fashioned vertical blinds and lace elsewhere. Mostly old, dated-looking timber bedroom furniture, very little decoration other than the cheap, dated and leftover pictures on the walls. Lounge furniture included black leather tub chairs: better suited to an office. The decor gives the impression that the house has been decorated by a man, with a small budget and poor taste.
Overall the place did not make the best impression. However it is reasonably comfortable, close to the “La Mar” cafe, and just a short walk over the dune to a magnificent beach. Said to be suited to and popular with large groups.
