A reasonably priced hotel for where it's located in HCMC.
Room was small, not a lot of light, and there was a constant hum of construction noise from the outside.

The location was fine, and it had an elevator.
The lobby was clean.
It had hot water to the basin.
There was black mold on the wall.
The lampshade was very waterstained
Under the bed was the dirtiest floor that you could imagine. This was in no way 3 star hotel, and it was totally overpriced for what was there. It had to be about the worst and dirtiest room that I have ever stayed in in Asia.
The room that I had described itself as having a quiet city view, but the room didn't even have a window in it.
The key to my room wouldn't work on my last morning there, so I was locked out of my room for 3.5 hours. They did offer me another room, which I declined because I had heart medication and other medications, some to help me sleep in my room. When I checked out they would not refund any of my money because they said that they had to pay the lock technician as if it were my fault that I needed to get into my room where my medication was.
I would advise everyone to avoid this hotel, there are better and cheaper hotels in the area.
I can understand now why they want cash before they give you your room key.

The location is good but with some drawbacks. Front desk staff are pleasant.
There is a construction site over the road. Lots of noise coming from it - even on Saturday and Sunday.
The room was dated and the wooden floor scuffed was poorly fitted. Nowhere near as nice as the photos on the website.
The housekeeper banged on the door (there was no 'do not disturb' sign) at 8:30am every day. I asked her to come back later and she said 'no'. Needless to say my room wasn't made up on any of the 3 nights I stayed there.
I also saw a rat whilst I was waiting for the lift.

The staff were very good and the location was good.
The rooms were very small and we paid for a superior room so was expecting a bit more. The bed sheets was so dirty and when we asked for new sheets they were also dirty, the bath towels were also dirty. The window in our room was also broken it wouldn’t close. More of a 2 star than a 3 star…

We have to checked out after checked in 15 mins as the place is not liveable. It felt like the place has been abandon for a long time with blood stain on the bed, no water in the bathroom. The wall was mouldy and bad smell in both of our rooms.

The pictures as advertised are not what you see in at the hotel.
I reserved for an executive room but i was given standard room. The room is dimly lit.

The hotel is well located, the daily shift staff are helpful and friendly.
The room was super small, the pictures are made on fish-eye so on the pictures, the room looks more spacious but there is actually very little space.
There was no hot water, just cold.
The room is very humid and smells of mold, there is an AC but no other ventilation, not even in the bathroom.
Second day, we didn’t put any sign on the door (forgot) and came to the room which was half cleaned, the blanket just thrown over the bed and someone’s hair all across the floor.
There is a ban on bringing durian to the hotel - when some girls on our floor brought it in, the smell was terrible, it got into our room, it was impossible to sleep in it. When we told the receptionist, he just laughed and said the girls will be checking-out the next day. We at least got him to throw away the trash bin from the hallway where some of the durian was.
To top it off, we received an e-mail from the hotel saying they are struggling after covid, to please rate them with 10 and if there was anything we didn’t like, not to rate them at all.

We have been to HCM several times and normally we stay at Avanti Hotel and since its fully booked we booked 4 rooms at Villion for my family trip. Due to flight delay & congested at HCM Airport our arrival to hotel also delay. Location very good. My suggestion. 1) Staicase towards the hotel lobby should install handle especially seniors to hold when they walk. My mum almost fall. 2) Hot water during shower not hot, they need to rectify this issue. 3) Standing shower is better than bath tub as the toilet quite small. 4) My room 803, not convenient at all as we took lift till level 7 and have to walk with luggage to level 8 which is totally un acceptable as my wife walking with stick. Next day I managed to change room to 701 which is much better. Front desk very helpful especially Ms Katie & Mr Thomas. This property is value for money for those looking for location as less than 5 mins walk to Ben Than Market and easy access to anywhere. Lots of restaurant and minimart.
TV No English Channel.........

Hotel nearby Ben Thanh Market by walking distance
The room is very small, dark with musty smell not like as publish on the photo that i'm booked. Toilet door problem and cannot be locked from inside. No staff to clean the room every day and lack of sockets.

Close to chợ Bến thành
Water licking, couldn’t close the bathroom door. Due to the wetness, Wood floor popped open, room smell mostly, moddy and bad.
