environnement très calme et néanmoins très proche d'Aix
propreté douteuse de la piscine / réglage laborieux des chaînes de tv/ absence de bouilloire électrique

We stayed for a bit longer than a week and had an amazing time. The Domaine is nice and quiet and has a very green garden. At night you only hear crickets and smell the lavender. It has a great pool and the whole Domaine was nicely maintained. Our studio was very clean, cozy and had everything we needed. Water pressure is good and warm water is quick. Soaps provided smelled amazing. The owner is very sweet and easy to talk too. She will make you feel at home and it was easy to keep in contact while we were there. Domaine de Carraire is located on a very quiet street but still very close to the city (Aix-en-Provence). Nice bakery on a 6 minute drive. A great place to stay if you want to explore the area with nice cities and beautiful villages. I highly recommend it to every couple or also if you are traveling alone! Will definately stay here again if I'll be in this part of France again.
WiFi wasn't the best, but not very necessary on a vacation.

Nice apartment room with beautiful outdoor areas to relax. Parking on site and not too far from the different towns we went to explore.
The rooms are very loud, unfortunately we could hear everything coming from next door.

it was stylish and cool despite the very hot weather
We could hear the conversations in the neighbouring suite. Requires hooks for hanging towels in the bathroom and kitchen and more surfaces to put things on in the main room.

little apartment (as opposed to a hotel room), located in the country side, so it truly has a Provence feel to it.
a little far from any good restaurants, etc…

nice Studio, location is good. Sophie Laure was very responsive.
Some people may not like that the location is a little away from area where there are restaurant, cafes, etc.. but we liked the little remote, country side feel of the property. it truly feels like ‘Provence’

Uncomplicated and easy check-in and out
Pool area seemed abandoned and not well in shape

Definitely a Provençal feel. The suite we stayed in was nicely decorated. It is very quiet as we were able to sleep with the window open without being disturbed. The pool is a nice place to spend the afternoon reading or taking a swim.
The outdoor seating could be updated/upgraded a bit. But this is a minor thing overall.

We booked Domaine de Carraire for one week during our stay in Aix en Provence. The accomodation is beautifully decorated, clean, surrounded by nature, … we had everything we needed for our a romantic stay. There’s a terrace outside for every apartment, which is also very nice. The location is perfect (10min drive from Aix, 30min to Marseille, …). Sophie-Laure was an excellent host and has regularly checked in with us! We’ll come back soon! 😊

We had a brilliant time at Domaine de Carraire in the stunning french countryside, where we stayed in the pool view studio which was excellent where we could simply opened the back door and we were pool side. It's really quiet, totally away from it all and a great location for a short time away or with friends (as we were). Others in our party had garden rooms. We arrived by taxi and we could find that we could walk to the nearby supermarket and La Calade restaurant. It's a lovely setting surrounded by lavender fields and hay bales. The rooms are comfy and there was everything we needed in the kitchen area.

A fantastic place to relax. Beautiful country house with lovely flats that have everything you need. The kitchens could be a little better equipped. Especially if you like to cook - after all, everything is geared towards self-catering.
You eat in the garden. Each unit has a table outside. The pool is shared with all the guests. The pool pump and the robot unfortunately start very early in the morning and are noisy. Therefore, it is better to sleep with earplugs.
You need a car as there is nothing nearby to shop. The nearest bakery and supermarket are about 10 to 15 minutes away by car.
It is a dream if you are looking for peace and quiet and want to enjoy the rural flair of Provence.
We loved it :-)

Generally a very nice place, tastefully decorated room, very very quiet and clean. The room was quite large, the bed very comfortable. Nice owners, there was no problem contact with them.
I don't understand some kind of saving on guests. We came for a week - we got 2 rolls of toilet paper. It is known that this is not enough.
There was information that we should segregate rubbish - we got one garbage bag ... how can you give 1 bag for the whole week.
Soap and washing-up liquid containers - practically empty. I asked for a refill, because I am not going to pack the washing-up liquid on the plane to Poland.
No basic spices like salt or pepper. We wanted to make scrambled eggs ... but there was nothing to salt. Again - I will not buy salt to pack it on the plane.
Teas left to drink ... no kettle. We had to boil water in a pot ... weird really.
