Welcome to Avalon II & IV, an AvantStay home! This home was featured on the Emmy award-winning TV show, Staycation!
Our open floorplan is great for entertaining. We hope you’re a fan of dinner parties! Head out to the deck to fire up a feast. If you’re feeling adventurous, Spruce Street Suspension Bridge and its killer views are only a 10-minute drive.
Nearby Attractions: Balboa Park, Seaport Village, San Diego Zoo, Spanish Village Art Center, Little Italy (Italian anyone?), San Diego Seaworld, Gaslamp Quarters (dining/shopping), Waterfront Park, Mission Brewery, Omnia Nightclub, The Morning After (breakfast), Lucha Libre Taco Shop, Biga (Italian), Coronado Golf Course, La Jolla Cove (30 min drive).

Home Truths:
- This home accepts a maximum of 2 pets. But pets must be approved in advance and are subject to an additional fee of $150 per pet. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Please note, we do not allow shipping or deliveries of parcels to any of our properties since we do not have access to mailboxes, and cannot guarantee delivery, receipt, or protection of your items at the property.
- Any amplified sound that can be heard within 50 feet away from your residence is prohibited. This home has a noise ordinance time between 10 PM and 8 AM, meaning even a normal conversation must be moved to inside the home during these hours.
- There may be partial obstruction of your view from neighbors' trees.
- Driveway may be difficult for low-graded vehicles to park. There is limited street parking in the area.
- This home is located in a neighborhood with a strict noise ordinance policy and therefore is only suitable for quieter groups. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting this home, otherwise, if violations occur you may be subject to a fine that can reach up to $10,000.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.
This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

We had a family destination wedding, the bnb hosts were great! The check in process was seamless, both units were very clean and exactly as advertised. The only difficult part was a raised spot on the driveway that scrapes the bottom of the car. It looked like many cars had been scraping on that area so I opted to park on the street. Otherwise, perfect.

The space was clean and unique. My family and I rented out 2 of the units to spread out. I loved the layout and it had pretty much all of the amenities that you would need when traveling. I liked that there was beach stuff for you to borrow and lots of games and things to do. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were nice and clean. We ate almost every meal outside on the balcony. However, the pictures were a bit misleading - we thought that we would have some view from the downstairs balcony but there was absolutely no view because of the trees growing underneath. So that was a bit disappointing. I think the pictures of the view comes from the next door units so that's something that I would've loved to know before booking.

This was a good property--we were unclear at first as to what exactly it was--it is two distinct 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom units, each with separate entry front doors. They do not connect in any way. That said, the properties are nice, have kitchens with elaborate supplies, nice bath products and very comfortable beds. We liked the patio (in the downstairs unit) as it was surrounded by a very large tree and comfortable in the evenings. We found the place very clean upon arrival and had some communications with the AvantStay team and they were very responsive. The neighbors were friendly and the property was a short walk to the "International Restaurant Row", which has many great choices of places to eat. We LOVED the Italian place and have the best fish and chips in the Shakespeare pub. Overall very good stay!
