Great place to stay with a big group, and an awesome location. Quiet neighborhood, and just a short drive to downtown. The only thing to be aware of is that all the bedrooms are upstairs, so not ideal for those who have trouble getting up and down. A bathroom is located on the main level and the other is upstairs. Other than that, we loved the place!

We enjoyed the area greatly. The house was old but usable. The shortage of bathrooms was a little troublesome, but we managed. We saw many deer in the yard. A/C worked great. It was an overall good stay.

Great stay especially if you like the mansion feel.

Very nice stay, compfy beds with plenty of room for everyone! The only need would be to update/upgrade games for a wonderful family gathering game night.

This house had everything we needed. All the bedrooms were large and well equipped. Comfortable beds, large closets with plenty of hangers and luggage racks, dressers, mirrors, and plugs for all my electronics. Bathrooms were large as well and were well lit with plenty of towels, and other bathroom necessities. The kitchen was well stocked, large and clean. The dining room table was a perfect place for large gatherings . There was seating for 10+ around the large wooden table. The best part was sitting in the comfortable chairs on the front porch while enjoying the beautiful weather and view of Mount Helena as I drank my coffee. We will definitely be staying here again.

The house was just as advertised and full of history. Good location and everything that we needed. The only negative was because it was all wood it was a little loud but would recommend this beautiful house!
4.8
This charming old Victorian was very well maintained and spotless! The beds and bed linens were super comfy and there was plenary of towels, blankets, pillows. Remember, this is a old home with lots of charm. It is not a modern, sleek hotel room. I felt safe with young children in this home as long as they did not go up into the attic space alone.
4.8
Plenty of space although we sat around the dining room table most of the time while there. Viewed lots of deer on the local streets while driving in and out. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch!

Great old home. Young granddaughters enjoyed the deer roaming the neighborhood. Evening walks were peaceful. Room enough to have sit down dinners.

The perfect historic home
We rented the Little Helena Mansion for 2 nights for 7 ladies in town for a tennis tournament. We loved the house- plenty of beds all of which were very comfy! We loved sitting on the back porch for meals and were very thankful that the house has AC as it was super hot in Helena this weekend! Would definitely recommend!

This was a FABULOUS place to stay! We all loved the nostalgia of the mansion, the ornate woodwork and it just felt like home away from home! There were 6 adults and we all had plenty of room. The dining room was great for playing cards and meals, bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and will rent this one again!

I am so grateful to the owners for going above and beyond to ready this historic home for my family. We were all very comfortable, wonderful beds! Family and friends came over to have some meals over the course of the long weekend, and the dining room and living room space was able to accommodate our revolving visitors easily. The kitchen is well stocked for serving many people. And the location is easily accessible to downtown Helena.

We absolutely enjoyed every minute of our stay at this home. It’s history is recognizable from the moment you walk in the front door, but that says little for how great a place this was for our family to stay, altogether, for our trip to Helena. Not only would we recommend this to anyone bringing a large group, we plan to stay here again in the spring for our son’s graduation from Carroll College

It was nice for family to be together in one spot. In town to pay our last respects to our Mother. There were a couple complaints. 1. The coffee pot was filthy. 2. all the condiments on the door took away from what we needed to put in. 3. Only a couple spoons. The decor was perfect for the house.and had a place for kids to play.

Group of retired friends getting together. A wonderful, historic house on the west side of Helena. All the amenities we needed.

Great for family. Large dining room and plenty of comfortable beds. Stairs and wood floor are loud if you need to get-up at night but that comes with the age of the house and wasn't a big issue.

Our family had a great time staying at this old mansion in Helena. The atmosphere and charisma of the place is almost breathtaking when you first step inside. There was plenty of seating in the front room and around the large dining room table for our family of 15 to chill, play games and talk late into the night.
