This home is located in the Nemo Cay Resort, where you will be close to everything Corpus Christi has to offer. You will be only a short drive to many local restaurants and shops. While you are out, take a three-mile drive and visit Mustang Island State Park for some hiking, kayaking, biking, and fishing. You will be less than two miles from Whitecap Beach, the entrance to the Padre Island Seawall.

This is the second year in a row I’ve stayed in this apartment complex. This particular house was awesome minus a few little critiques. The master shower had an unsightly hole that had been repaired, dryer did not work, and the cabinets in the kitchen were starting to fall apart from what looked like water damage. But truthfully I would stay again cause the location is great plus an awesome pool for the kids!

Property was pretty nice. Smelled nice and clean as we walked in. Everything was as pictured. The downstairs sink was pretty slow draining, you had to turn off water while you brushed or it would fill up but no biggie. A few things looking pretty worn, in downstairs bath and shower floor was repaired in a quite ugly way. Parking was rough. Everything was very packed in and not much room to maneuver. We had 2 full size pickups and if it wasnt for my husband being extremely experienced at moving large vehicles around it would have not been workable. The complex was small and packed but there was no trouble and it was quiet at night which I appreciated. One thing though is if it says its oceanfront it wasnt at all it was a close drive but not oceanfront.

Celebrated our baby's first birthday and our kids first time to the beach. It was perfect! Only comment is maybe stock some pantry items like salt, pepper, spices and oil. Also bath mats and entry mats for the doors would help trap some water and sand in certain parts of the house.

Pictures of the property are the same but the pictures are much nicer than the property. Electricity kept going off.

Everything was beautiful and clean. The neighborhood was great.It was in its own secluded area. The pool area was wonderful as well. I didn't realize the couch had a pull out bed as well till later. It is decorated very nice. There was plenty of towels and also beach towels for our big family. The beds were comfortable and even the kids bunk beds felt comfortable. There pillows were awesome. I definitely would like to come back. My kids wish that we could live in it. And so would I. It was plenty of room and spacious. Im so glad we found this listing!

I was extremely disappointed and disgusted. I wanted to leave, but I spent a lot of money on my stay here. I first thought it was a nice place by the outside. I went to check out the place and the back door is hard to open/close/lock. When we used the sink the garbage disposal made the whole place smell like rotten fish. The Wi-Fi was not on and the cable was disconnected. The pillows were stained yellow. The fan in the master room needs to be replaced, it made so much noise when turned on. Lots of light bulbs were burnt out. There was a 10-11 inch crack/hole in the shower floor downstairs. The water was leaking under the shower. The shower upstairs did not drain properly, filling up the tub. Stains on the couch and stairs. Chipped paint on walls. I will not be returning or recommending anyone to stay here. I was disappointed at the pool area as well the pool had lots of leaves and sand and at nightfall there was insufficient lighting. Most of the bulbs need changing.

Perfect, clean spot to sneak away to. Literally 2min drive to the beach. 1 min drive, if that, to the nearest convenience store for beverages. A simple stroll, through the provide gate opening, to Rock n Rolls sushi spot, which is a must! Quiet area, great pool to chill, especially with a children’s pool that is delightfully thought of. I would book again with zero regrets.

This is a good size property for our family of 5. My issue was with the company hosting. The wifi was down the entire time. They told me to unplug the router. We did many times. I told them it still did not work, they said they would call around to see if something was down in the area and call me back. I never received a call back. I told them the batteries in the master bedroom remote were dead, they did nothing to help with that. There were dirty towels on the floor in the laundry room, they were not ours, so I did not touch them. The property is nice, just not sure about the host company.

Good place to anchor
A weekend with family and friends. Open floorplan was inviting and fun. A definite drive to beach. Clean and comfortable but not much in the way simple supplies for more than 2 day stay. Enjoyed.

BEACH PERFECTION
This place was absolutely amazing. Spacious, just a few minutes drive to the beach and So clean all around - the shower drains actually drained - unlike other places we've stayed at in the area. The pool area had two separate areas for kids and adults, also plenty of poolside tables with shade available. We will definitely be returning.

Family Vacation with Dog
This property is amazingly clean, exactly described and fit us all. The only thing I wish was described more is the pet situation; everything is rocks, no grass and being it’s HOT it’s too hot for a dog to go to the bathroom not to mention not easy for them either. Wish there was a pet area with grass.

Lovely getaway
Had such a lovely time. It was so clean and comfortable. And while the kitchen isn't stocked, having approximately 10000 towels was awesome for the 6 adults staying there. Also for as full as the parking lot was, it was BY FAR the quietest place we have ever stayed in the area.

The perfect place.
This place was perfect. Everything was as they were in pictures. It was very spacious and clean. The pool area was perfect for the kiddos. My only complaint would be parking. You get two designated spaces and we had an issue with others parking in our spaces and leaving us to find others and worry about getting towed. We will definitely stay again but will bring our own cones to block our parking spaces off while we are away.

We enjoyed our stay
The place was very nice and comfortable. Close to everything. We enjoyed the pool. The only issue we had is that there was dog poop left on the back patio which it should have been picked up by the cleaning people or whoever stayed there before, there was used charcoal also left on the ground. The table top wasn’t cleaned. Two trash bags were not enough. The patio chairs are unsafe, the legs are broken. But overall we will certainly enjoyed ourselves and will most likely come back as soon as we can.

Just Be Warned; The Staircase Is 17 Steps, So If Youre Not Used To Stairs And Fighting Waves At The Beach, You'll End Up With Sore Legs.
On A Different Note, The Place I Usually Book At Has A List Of Things To Do Before Leaving (Like Where The Dumpster Is To Toss Trash Bags And Where We Can Pile Used Sheets) But Weirdly This One Didn't So We Ended Up Leaving Things Where They Were. Oof. Did I Overlook It Or Is There A List And I Missed It? Yikes

We enjoyed our stay with our toddler & two dogs. We really appreciated that this listing didn't limit the weight of dogs that are allowed to stay. We have two dogs over 25 lbs ;) and most places have that as a limit.
Our toddler is super into appliances right now and loved the carpet sweeper and W/D. Do note that there was no salt & pepper in the available shakers, no oil, etc. This could be a covid thing but if you plan to cook bring EVERYthing you will need. There were lots of restaurants available for take out and the house seemed very clean.

Great Place
Fishtales was a great getaway! The home was clean and inviting, and I loved the open floorplan for the family to gather. It was so convenient to everywhere we were going to. I was concerned (at first) the proximity to SPID. However, you would of never known it. It was a secluded little community all its own. Bonus was that it was so affordable and we were able to have our dog with us. We will definitely be staying here again!

The inside was very clean, but the back porch had beer bottle caps and cigarette butts out there and one fence board was coming off of the fence and it had nails sticking out of it. The pool was awesome and the condo location is very close to the beach and shops.

Great with the family
This townhouse is lovely and very clean... especially important during this time. The beds were very comfortable and decor super cute. The house was fully stocked with the essentials - plenty to toilet paper and towels. Just a couple of things that would have been nice to know... 1) parking spots are very small. Luckily we only had one vehicle and parked in the middle of the two spots allocated to the home. 2) No coffee is provided; there is a coffee maker and filters however no coffee grounds. First time I've ever stayed at rental with no coffee.

Location is decent, very close to public parking at the beach. The unit was very clean. The only complaints were that the upstairs noise was pretty loud and we could hear our neighbors through the walls.

Very nice condo! Beds were comfortable and the A/C worked great.
Unlike other condos we’ve stayed in, this condo does not have any of the essentials, like spices, salt and pepper, etc...so plan ahead and bring your own.
The lockbox is a bit of a challenge and probably needs some sort of directions for customers. We spent 45 minutes trying to lock the door our first day. Even tried to contact the rental company for help, but they never responded to our call or text message until the next morning! :(
The parking lot is extremely small and the parking spots are even smaller. The day we were due to leave, I couldn’t get my driver door open because the car next to me was so close. I had to crawl through the passenger side.
The drive to the beach is very easy and only about a mile away. I will tell you, if you are wanting to rent a golf cart, you cant if you are staying here due to the resort being right off the highway and not having a back way to get to and from, from the beach.
The pool is a lot smaller than the pictures online show. It was jammed packed everyday to the point of us never being able to use or enjoy it. Kind of a bummer, as we looked forward to that after a long day at the beach.
Overall, this is a nice, clean condo that’s close to the beach and great for families.

Clean, new, upscale unit - There was so much room! It slept 8 very comfortably. We loved the short drive to the beach. It is easier than staying on the beach and dragging everything out in the morning and back in the evening.

The house was great but the property manager was so rude
Really enjoyed our stay here, no complaints there. After leaving I received an extremely rude voicemail from Crystal from the property managers office telling us to get out of the house now. We checked out at 9:30am and our heck out time was 11am. It was definitely a mistake on their end but I received no apology. They are great with customer service, that’s for sure. Will probably look elsewhere next time we come back to the area.
