The location was beautiful! The stars are amazing! It was secluded and quaint. There is a guest book that dates back almost 20 years and is the cutest thing ever! Great kitchen, easily accessible laundry.
The property could use a little TLC. There are a few boards that could be replaced on the back porch. Use caution! The water wasn't on when we got there but it is easy enough to flip on the breaker in the box.

Looking outside I could see lots of farm equipment laying around, and the decking was old and scary. The whole area was not what i was expecting from looking at the picture of the site. The toilet seat was too short for my 6'3 spouse.

Location was great. Secluded and plenty of room for my dog to run and play ball
The king size bed needs replaced.

Great location with quite surroundings and lots of privacy. Wi-fi worked well and there was fairly good phone reception. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Overall, cabin was cozy and well maintained.
No breakfast provided, but there was instant coffee and tea in the cupboard (but no milk in the fridge). Master bedroom did not appear to have a heat source, so had to move an electric heater into the room during the night (wood stove was not working and in repair). Ceilings in the master bedroom were a bit low, especially for individuals taller than 6'3" (like myself).

Very quiet and private, a good little getaway cabin. Very unique too, you could tell the cabin had some history. I liked the fireplace, until they took away the chimney.
A little dark inside, so not really a place you spend the day in. The door didn’t lock/latch very well, was very finicky. Also was super excited about the fireplace, until they took away the chimney. That’s the whole reason I booked this place…

Everything was perfect. Although it rained the whole time, we still enjoyed ourselves. Wish it was ours. Lol
The tub was hard for my wife to get in and out of.
And, the toilet was too low.

The GOOD.. this unit is very spacious, easily can handle a family, clean, and very quiet. Very rustic and close to south Great Smoky Mtn NP
The BAD... the bathroom appears to be an old porch that was enclosed to make a bathroom. It's more than a rustic. The toilet sits very low on a slanted floor, and the clawfoot tub (although cute) is very hard to climb in and out. Also hard to operate because it's somewhat makeshift. Additionally the dryer seemed to struggle to get clothes dry. Bad once you read the next section.
The MUST READ... the 2 things that were difficult for travelers. The A/C unit leaked condensation all over the pine wood floors, and all the towels in the unit were needed to keep up with the water outflow.
The tankless hot water heater made showering about 3 minutes long, until the unit could catch up. We had very very very cold times taking showers. Not great if you have a family with small children.

Beautiful area
Mattress had a big dip in the middle... to old and used

Bed sinks in middle. It was awful. No central AC.

We were happy with the location. The fact it was an original log cabin. The wildlife and being next to a creek.
The mattress on the 1st floor seems a little old and toilet paper dispenser was broken. Other than that we loved it.

The main bed mattress has a slope in center
