Never ran out of things to do. Great place for children and young people as well as anyone who just wants to get away to a peaceful place. We brought hammocks for the front yard. Being right on the lake with kayaks was amazing! The view is beautiful! It was peaceful and wonderful.

An amazing property!
Pros:
-location is perfect, near attractions and beautiful!
-plenty of comfortable sleeping space
-amazing deck and waterfront
-swimming is great, cool but comfortable (also rocky, wearing water shoes a must)
-great place for kayaking (mix of calm water and wavy depending on wind)
-amazing vantage point for storm watching
-cottage was clean when we arrived and no extensive cleaning was required of us when we left.
Cons-ish:
-could use a second fridge somewhere
-was missing some basic things like scissors and some common kitchen items
-no laundry access but we managed
-no cable tv (though there is plenty to do, bringing entertainment for the rainy times with kids etc. is not a bad idea, we did and it was fine)
