Everything!!! Jorge's guesthouse is amazing! The decor is incredible and it's so well restored! We had a fantastic stay. Jorge is a wonderful host with a great eye for Roman interior decorating! Thank you so much :)

interior is going back in time to the Roman Empire.

This place is amazing. Jorge has put a lot of thought, love, skill and dedication in to making it a Roman Palace. He is a lovely guy and if you are lucky enough to stay with him. You will leave as a friend. A simple breakfast of fresh local produce is prepared with love.
Nothing. It is one of the best attractions in Beja!

Clean and decorated as advertised, fully equipped kitchen at my disposal, nice breakfast with fresh fruit. Very friendly host, very nice contact. Ideally located in the scenic city centre. I had a room with bathroom included. A recommendation!

Very personal decoration in every room. Cosy place, depending if you like the style of the decoration or not. I liked. Very clean rooms and also all the other spaces. The owner is very helpful and speaks good english. He knows well the city Beja and can give good tips where to eat and where to visit. We really ejoyed the stay here.
Our bed was a little short and narrow for us who are long people.

Truly a unique hotel, with great attention to detail. They really stay within the branded theme and you will find a new statue/painting/ detail every time you take a look around. Host is super friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome from the get go. Breakfast was prepared really well and the host really went above and beyond!
What you see in the pictures is truly what you get
The parking opportunities were not ideal and you shouldn't go in with big suitcases/ lots of luggage as the entryway is rather narrow and surprisingly steep.

Such a wonderful stay, we wished we could have stayed longer. Such a friendly host who gave us great information and gave us a tour of the beautiful stay. everything is perfect, breakfast was tasty and plentiful and our children really enjoyed all the amazing features as did we. thanks for a great stay and it is a perfect location to walk around this beautiful town. l

The host is simply awesome, I'd rate him at 12/10 or above. The concept - the whole town house is decorated with the Roman Empire theme items. I normally like modern interiors, but here the consistency and coherence of all the details is absolutely stunning and I loved it. Even if some things were created on a budget, it feels just fine and you appreciate the creativity of the owners every time you find something new. I can't simply express how impressive it turned out to be. The small terrace I used to have my morning coffee was really nice and cozy. Absolute cleanliness is worth noting. You can't get a more central location in the town. The host is a chef, and I learned a nice trick on how to make a pineapple presentation great; an unexpected bonus added to my arsenal.
Central location comes at a cost. It's an old town house - narrow and tall. The stairs feels more like a ladder, so if you have any mobility issues, this place is simply not for you. Even if the host is quick to help you with getting your luggage to its place you will need to climb every time. Parking is not easy either - not too hard, there were enough spaces in the centre of the town, but you need to walk a couple minutes from your car.

Clean rooms with beautiful design / interior in center of the town with a nice breakfast.
The owners spent alot of their time to explain us the history of Beja (Pax Julia) and their own special roman guesthouse - I can only say its a very unique place to stay!
Owners are very charismatic and good people.
Would recommend to every other guests.

Breakfast was good
Locati on was difficult to find as street was not on location. Suggest hosts add the name of the nearby "Praca da Republica" which would be helpful!

Great place to stay and explore the city of Beja. You're in the centre and have easy access to all museums and things to see and do. The owner is very kind and accomodating and the place itself is already a little museum! I would certainly recommend it to others.

The room was spacious and clean. The shower was nice with a good flow.
The whole property is decorated in a very peculiar style, true to its name, and it feels like you should go around in a Roman robe.
Breakfast was abundant with mainly savoury options.
The host was extra nice and made us feel welcomed.
Location is great for visiting Beja even though it makes parking a bit more difficult but there is free parking just outside the centre.
