Such a great place!!! Thank you!

I loved this older house. It has character and warmth. You could walk from the deck directly down to the beach, and it was so quiet! You could look directly out from the bed, couch or table to see the ocean. Definitely a place to read😊

Netarts and this beach house made for a perfect beach vacation. The kiddos loved playing on the beach just steps from the house. This part of the Oregon coast is tucked away and not busy like some of the larger tourist towns on the coast, even during peak summer seasons. The house has an amazing view and Tillamook grocers make it easy to stock the kitchen. The only thing it lacked was a functional grill but the pluses definitely outweighed this one negative. Pat has definitely earned a hearty 5 stars and we will most likely be back in the future.

There is nothing about this house that I disliked. Located ideally and so private although there are houses on both sides. There are a lot of stairs to get to the beach which could be a problem for some people but for my family it just added to the beauty. We watched seals and an abundancy of seabirds and there was always something beautiful outside the window. I hope I can return someday.

Loved everything about this place from the wooden gate and fence to the old school charm and vintage decor and the easy walk to the beach. We did bonfires and roasted marshmallows until tides came up and put the fire out. Kids found sand dollars and met several nice folks walking along the shore.

Great vacation spot. The towns were super busy over 4th of July weekend but thats to be expected. Charming little beach house on Netarts bay. Very cool vintage vibe at this house. Nothing fancy, just comfortable & cozy..."perfect."
Great view of the ocean, good acess to the beach. Kids had a blast looking for shells and crabs etc. Sunsets meant for postcards.
Thank you Pat & Kate.

Besides the spectacular views, the location of this property was perfect for our family vacation as it was a 2-minute walk to the beach, easy walking distance to the Schnooner restaurant, and easy driving to Tillamook, Oceanside, Garibaldi and Rockport Beach (places we explored). The home was clean, beds comfortable, and stocked with more items than usual from kitchen to bathroom to beach toys and clamming supplies. Overall we would highly recommend this property with its rustic charm.

This is our third stay, so that says something. It's a lovely home with a great view of the bay and ocean. I love the artwork around the house (I own a Bennett print, so I feel right at home!). It's always clean, the beds are comfortable. It's a great base to visit various places in the Tillamook area -- we always hit the Creamery and decided our 7 year old would enjoy the Air Museum this time. Don't miss Werner Beef and Brew and The Schooner for meals. Thanks for sharing your home, Pat and Kate!

We loved everything about our stay at this wonderful home. Pat and Kate are the ultimate hosts, providing helpful information about the area and making the entire rental process very easy and welcoming. Views from the property were amazing and we enjoyed short walks to the shoreline and The Schooner restaurant nearby. Looking forward to our next stay at this tranquil property! Scott and Libby

Took our family of 5 for spring break. We were all comfortable and the views were great! It was easy to check in and check out. Will be saving this house again in the near future. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

You couldn’t ask for a better view! This place is located in an ideal spot. It is only 6 miles out of Tillamook, but feels so private. We had everything we needed and truly enjoyed our 7 night stay!

This is our 3rd stay at this peaceful, bay-side cabin. Easy bay access for crabbing and clamming. Clean with everything you would need. A well appointed kitchen for preparing meals. Tucked in the trees along Netarts Bay and a world away from the chaos and hyper- activity of the modern world. Nightly fires in the fireplace kept things cozy. Can't wait to come back!

Most beautiful setting by the coast. Short walk to the shoreline. Great communication with owner. Due to hurricane Idalia which closed all the airports in Florida (where we live) when our flight was scheduled to leave the owner did their best to work with our revised schedule.

This place is a total dream. It’s exactly what I would want in a beach cottage! From the view to the short walk down to the beach to the frozen in time mid century decor, this place was exactly what I was looking for. The photos truly do not do it justice. It was really great to walk around the quiet neighborhood and down to the Schooner, and you’re so close to Tillamook should you have any desire to go there. The house is on the bay, a short walk from the ocean. Lovely little beaches around as well. I can’t say enough great things about this place. It was just perfect. The hosts were great and everything was contactless. No issues so no need to reach out during our stay. Such a relief to get a break from the cheesy vacation rentals found elsewhere along the coast.

Nice place. Perfect location. Beautiful views. Great info from owners. Some deferred maintenance. Felt like it hadn't been occupied for a bit (bugs in tub and window sills). Definitely a place to stay again but not relative to the current price.

The home has beautiful views of the Bay and access to the beach. We traveled from Wyoming and were not disappointed with Netarts Bay Area as the views, trails and beach combing were spectacular.
There was a minor problem with the hot water, but the owner rectified the problem quickly and was in constant contact with us throughout our stay.
Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay, as the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was adequately stocked (we cooked every meal) and sitting on the porch listening to the water was enchanting.

Absolutely loved the home, expansive up close views of the bay and ocean, large fireplace, well stocked kitchen, cozy cabin feel. Will be back!

We loved Netarts! It's a beautiful gem. The house was great, it's small of course but perfect for our family of 3 (a family of 4 would be comfortable also). It has everything you need. It has great ocean views.
My only comment - not criticism - is if you are someone who is cold easily to bring warm clothes for the cool coastal climate. Also, load up on groceries in Tillamook as there aren't many options super close. Schooners was easily walkable and fantastic though.

This property is is the best location with the best views. Our teenage daughters were happy to get out of the hotel room and stretch out in a space of their own. We walked down the beach to Oceanside and Tunnel Beach. Drove down to Cape Mare to see the lighthouse and the overlooks. The host was available for questions and very accomodation for us. Cant say enough about this property and our stay.

Cozy, comfortable, right on a spectacular beach. The kitchen and baths are well-stocked and in great shape, and the property is relaxing and lovely. We really appreciated the binoculars and various Audubon and nature guides, as well as the comfortable bed. Hope to return soon!

We had a great family trip staying in this cozy cabin. What views! The provided amenities were perfect and the atmosphere of the lodging was spot on. We would gladly stay here again.

My partner and a few family members had an amazing time at this beautiful house. The house is an impeccably cozy mid-century charmer with the most amazing views from almost every room (probably not for people who prefer the new grey flooring and TJ Maxx minimalism of a lot of new developments). We had a blast catching crabs in the bay, digging for oysters, and seal-watching from the beach. Thanks so much for having us, Pat & Kate!

The view is amazing. The home exterior was very nice but the furnishing are quite old and in need of updating. The walk to the beach was a bit much for me. Beds are comfortable and the home was very clean.

Had a blast staying at this location again. My friends and I stayed a few years ago, and came back to propose to my partner. The beach is perfect, and the sand was glowing like last time from the algae

This house was perfect for our family of 4. Accurate good reviews from previous guests. I didn’t think the beds were as comfortable as they were saying though. A few things we did were: Cape Meares to see the Octopus tree and lighthouse, Tillamook cheese factory, Oceanside and Short beach to see the tide pools, and campfire with s’mores on the beach. The best place we ate was the Fish Peddler at Pacific Oyster. You can get fresh seafood there as well. Overall great stay. We had a wonderful time!

We loved the beach access and the view!

Take you back in time to an 80's rustic beach home. Staying at this home woke up my dreams of building a little gem tucked just above the beach. The only down side would be the beach trail is not injury or handicapped accessible from the house but no fear. Just drive to the Schooner down the street for great food and a low access point to the beach.
4.8
They cottage was very cozy and comfortable for all. There are steps to navigate so keep that in mind for accessibility. Otherwise, the deck was fantastic the kitchen was equipped, and the beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed the beach below and the quick drive to Oceanside beach. Be sure to explore the tide pools in the morning!

Needs lots of attention!
Not sure where to start on this review. While the view is a million dollar view, the house needs lots of attention. The owners seem very nice, but it seems they treat the rental as a place they let their friends and relatives stay for free. Upon arrival, there were dirty dishes in the sink, dishes left on a towel on the counter, beds not made, bathrooms not clean, tables and counters not clean. We called the owner to be told something must have happened with the cleaning people. It is advertised as cleaning protocols in place. There should always be follow up to ensure it is cleaned! So after a very long day of flying, we had to make up the beds, clean the kitchen and baths and basically the entire house. Owner did refund the cleaning fee. There is paint peeling on wall in one bathroom, TV would not work. Owner suggested if we had lap top to use it. We finally were able to figure out remote for fire stick needed batteries so we went to store and bought batteries. We got it to work, but fire stick is very old and needs upgraded. There is unpainted wood in kitchen (maybe a project in process?). They window blinds are a tinted plastic shade that do nothing to stop the sun at 5:30 am. No screens on most of the windows and none on the screen door. So flies came in when we had to open in late afternoon due to warm in the house. (No AC). Kitchen utensils are old and need replacing. Cardboard boxes stacked in den area with kindling fire starter are very unsightly. The owners did ask how they could make it right for us and offered additional days stay, but we had reservations somewhere else. And honestly we were ready to leave. The price is higher than several around it, but we chose due to no pets allowed and the cleaning protocols that were promised. This was our first trip since March 2020!

Wonderful!
We loved our stay. The cabin was wonderful and very relaxing. Small enough to keep our kids close but big enough to give us all space. Beautiful location. Hoping to come back next year!

Comfortable older home with a great spot above the bay. Kitchen has almost anything you need, plenty of dishware and sharp knives. We enjoyed our stay. I would caution less-spry folk on using steps to beach below.

A little slice of coastal heaven
We really enjoyed our stay here. The weather was pretty variable but the house had more than we needed. We enjoyed cooking and staying near the fire on the cool days and getting out and exploring on the better days. It is walking distance to the Schooner and quick drive to Oceanside (the crab omelet at the Blue Agate was outstanding). There are lots of cool State Parks to explore (Cape Meares and Cape Lookout are really close) and the beach right in front of the cabin was great. We had a full size truck, so parking was a little tight when the lot for the rental next door was full but we managed just fine. Overall, I'd say if you are looking for a real coastal cabin experience that is family friendly and close to fun things to do, you should definitely give this place a try. We hope to go back again soon....

Loved our stay in Netarts at this secluded property. Very clean and comfortable, just the right size for our group of 3. I love that it has all the old school charm and design of a classic beach house and hasn't been updated to a cookie cutter modern look. Everything worked great and we had no issues. Only wish we could've stayed longer.
